I want to like this podcast sooo much but maybe can the the episode include when the personal chatting ends and the SVU episode discussion begins? I am over 28 minutes in and the chatting still hasn’t stopped and it is FAR TOO LONG!

Love this podcast

Just listened to latest Dearly Beloved and had an experience at a wedding.. I was a bridesmaid and my ex-boyfriend was the couples’ friend too. At some point he asked me to dance but then also told me his current girlfriend’s friend was a waitress at the wedding and reporting back to her (she was not there). He had cheated on me with this girlfriend and I just loved how crazy she felt that night knowing he was around me and all of his friends having a great night!

Day 1 listener and still love this show so so much. Love the bravo / drag race chats! I don't mind episodes that don’t have a guest at all. Still just as good and funny. Liza has gotten really good in her storytelling. Love these ladies and can’t wait to see them for the 3rd time in Phoenix!

Stop with the Time Machine excuses

I know the hosts will tell me to chill out and they don’t care- but!! 3 weeks without a guest- and hiding the name of some fantastic guest they have coming up is annoying! Ok- you’re so busy, but why tease some great guest then not air that episode the following week or maybe two! Oy! I really used to like this pod but feels like they’re slipping and are just too busy to care.

I love Tuesdays because I know a new ep is out!!! My favorite part is the catch up on the beginning!! I don’t watch SVU, however liza and kara keep me listening i love how they describe each SVU ep and go into the crime- not to mention they are great interviewers!! I remember when the first ep came out my junior year of highschool, and now i’m going to be a junior in college, love you liza and kara you guys are hilarious!! i am a forever listener<33 (side note: i am a big swiftie and i love the evolution of liza becoming a swiftie)

Love this pod, I was not even a huge SVU fan, I just wanted a entertaining show to listen to. Liza and Kara are so funny and have great chemistry. I like the long intros, I don’t carry what they talk about, I just like listening to anything they say.

This show is great!

I’m an SVU fan and I love to hear the ladies recap the episodes. I often listen to the show and then go watch the episode they covered. I really enjoy the interviews with the actors too. Highly recommend to any SVU fan.

So fun but needs a little editing

I adore this show, I wait for it every Tuesday, BUT recently it’s become a bit harder to listen to. I don’t skip the beginning where they gossip, I like hearing about their lives and careers, but I’ve noticed the tangents while recapping the episode have gotten longer and less relevant. Before, if the characters went somewhere on the show the hosts might share a story of going there or info on the place. Now it’s like “and she was wearing purple. Did I tell you I bought a purple dress? I’m going to a wedding and I bought this purple dress and my mom was like, that’s not for the wedding right? It’s not appropriate. But I told her it’s cocktail attire!” And the other host going “ok let me look up what cocktail attire is” and it goes on for a few minutes and then I’m so lost I forgot where we are in the episode I have to rewind and try to remember! This seems like a pretty professional operation (as far as production, I’m sure the hosts would joke they aren’t professionals 😂) so it seem so odd no one thinks to edit these asides out!

I wait for Tuesdays at work now because of this podcast. So funny. I love watching the SVU episode before and then hearing Kara and Liza’s thoughts. I’m obsessed with them.

Love this podcast- always entertained. SVU is a cultural staple, and I’m glad to know other are as obsessed as I am! The hosts are hilarious, have good chemistry, and bring light to serious topics. The review of the episode with personalized commentary is my favorite. Never the wrong time to make a dark joke! I’ll continue to listen, as long as episodes keep being published.

Love the show hi the ads are killing me

Love the show, but the ads interrupting mid sentence multiple times is absolutely ruining the episodes for me. I totally get you’ve gotta get them in for your sponsors, but having them cut in to the intro then again at the beginning of the episode recap - it almost makes the episodes not worth listening to.

I'm a little confused

I really love the content of this podcast. I know comedy is subjective. I'm just trying to figure out what's going on here with the hosts. A lot of the time I'm not sure what they're talking about especially at the beginning. I'm not a mom and I don't know many celebrities.... so I'd love more content based on the actual topic. Listen. I'm not hating. I love the podcast. But as a person in radio ( I'm sure you don't care). But know your audience.

From the gabbing, to the episode recap to the true crime… it’s my favorite. I usually skip the interviews but that’s also a great segment. These two balance each other so well. You have loud, kind of bossy and rude Liza and the very sweet yet diplomatic Kara. Bravo- please sponsor them! They’ve got me into too much of your universe and this isn’t a Bravo pod. Love the show! I dont watch SVU but I’m a day 1 listener! I do have to speak up on behalf of my people though, lol. As a licensed therapist with a MA, anyone who has an active license to practice therapy (only MA+) is a “real therapist”… Therapists with a PhD are called Psychologists, and so maybe you meant not a “real psychologist”?🙃 Regardless, I love you both, and Liza you were so rad in SotT!! Cant wait for season 2!! 💕

The pod itself is great but unfortunately the production choices, like where to place ads and to not provide professional microphones to guests, tank the listening experience. Cutting ads into the story now when they used to be between segments is extremely disrespectful to the audience and disappointing. The audio for guests is horrible, often worse than a zoom recording, and that’s an easily solved equipment issue. I don’t understand why production thinks so little of the listener and the listener experience when that is literally the product they’re selling here. 5 stars for the hosts but sinking due to production mismanagement.

My favorite podcast

This is the only podcast I’ve listened to where I actually laugh and they talk like they’re my friends. It’s so entertaining and they describe the episode so well, then I learn about real life cases I’ve never heard about and it brings such a great awareness. I love y’all so much I hope it never ends, once all the episodes are done please do criminal intent or somethingggg!!

I’ve never seen an episode of SVU… I only listen to the first 20 minutes of every episode because I worship Liza Treyger. Just wish they both had a show that was all gab minus the recap. Still a fan and will keep listening. Also, so excited for Liza at Moontower this year!!!!

Love the lore!

What I appreciate about this podcast is it feels like getting to catch up with people you’ve known for a long time. Especially if you start from the first That’s Messed Up episode and listen to all of them in order, you start to build up the lore!
