Used to find LOH boring..not anymore!
I heard about this through the Lila Rose podcast, and am so, so glad God led me here! This is a beautiful way to pray the Hours without needing to organize ribbons, or look at a screen. Simply hit play, close your eyes, and a person can sit and absorb the beauty and presence of God. If you could have Night Prayer recordings that a person could access, that would be even more beautiful, especially if you end with a Salve Regina! Do let us know if there is a way to support you, so you can keep the podcast ad free. It takes money to create these, but I agree that ads would negatively impact the recording.

    Moves My Soul
Thank you for making the Liturgy of the Hours come to life and move my soul. Your singing is clear, beautiful, and makes me think someday we will learn as a family to pray in this way. I’d love to have recordings of you singing the Marian Antiphons if you are willing. We are trying to teach them to our children in Latin and most recordings are too “fancy” for us to follow along well. Thank you again for sharing this talent and making it available to us!

    Corporate Religion
With respect to Mr. Rose; We have loved listening to the lauds and vespers for several years. The recent addition of corporate advertising has ruined this holy time. It’s impossible to get away from useless, blaring advertising in our lives, this was one of the few enjoyments that was a haven from horrible and invasive advertising. Will it soon be priests blaring “This Mass is brought to you by BLAH, BLAH, BLAH,MOBILE AND REMEMBER TO BUY CHEAP JUNK AT CRAPPY’S”?

    Beautiful voices and prayers
I’ve been listening for well over a year and have been using these as part of my morning and evening routine. However, the ads are horrible. At first, I was simply skipping the first ad and it was ok. But now, the ad at the end is awful. I spend time in prayer and relax, sometimes almost asleep, then there is a loud and annoying ad. It be one thing is the ads weren’t twice as loud as your podcast, but some of them are entirely uncatholic.

    A blessing I didn’t know I was missing
This has been such a balm to my soul. Recommended by a friend, always wanted to get into the hours but have been streaky at best. Ever since my first episode I’ve not missed a day. Grateful for your ministry and sharing your talent!

The best way to start my day!
I am not able to find podcasts for 2024. Please tell me you will be back soon. You are needed.

    Almost perfect
This is great, and it’s so generous to be putting this out every day in the public for free. I only wish he would pronounce ‘God’ with a D and not ‘Got’ with a T.

    Peace be to you
I have been chanting morning and evening prayer with “Sing the Hours” for about two years; first on YouTube and then on Apple podcast. I will never be able to repay them for the peace they have brought me. Paul Rose and all those who are involved with his apostolate are in my prayers. May this channel bring you closer to the Triune God, and may it continue to be a channel of God’s peace to our troubled world.

    Love this podcast!
I have been praying lauds, vespers, and compline with Paul Rose on his YouTube channels for every day with love. These beautiful prayers are so amazingly sung by Paul and Father Nathaniel Sanders. When I am needing to merely listen, this is a wonderful podcast that prevents me from missing my prayers. Thank you so much for offering this alternative. I highly recommend both platforms to all because it truly is a God sent! May God bless all their work to bring this to our hearts!

    Treasure
It has been a year since I returned to my Catholic faith. I’ve learnt a lot and found this treasure about a year ago. It’s part of my nighttime routine. Well done overall.

    Thank you
This podcast is a real treasure! I love to start my day with Lauds and end the day with Vespers. It’s a great supplement to the rest of the daily LOH and I never tire of listening to Paul Rose’s lovely voice. I also enjoy the Latin translation mixed in. Thank you!

Do The word on fire LOH booklets match up to this? How do they differ?
  • cjwatson1972
    Very helpful... BUT!
If you are not a Catholic deacon, priest, or bishop, STOP saying the formal blessing it the end. "Benedicat vos omnipotens Deus etc." It is for ordained clergy only.
  • Ev16
    Perfect companion to WoF LOH
I also subscribe to Word on Fire’s Liturgy of the Hours booklets, and this podcast is the perfect companion! These two resources have shown me the beauty of the Church’s daily prayer. Thank you!

    good, true, & beautiful.
Besides being simply beautiful to the ears, Paul seamlessly weaves some of the more oft repeated Latin prayers in with the English. In this he’s been a tremendous help to me in learning the liturgical language. Sit back in quiet meditation while he brings the prayer of the Church to life or follow along with your favorite hours app and lift your voice with his sonorous tenor.

    Lauds and Vespers
The best presentation of these prayers I have seen on the internet. I am grateful he is sharing his gifts with the church in this way. It is helping me become a better Catholic man.

    The Prayer of the Church
Beautifully sung and great to have the Lauds and Vespers available on the go. This is the prayer of the Church and helps us to routinely order our hearts and minds to the Divine.

    Beautiful and comforting
I learned about the liturgy of the hours during a silent retreat I went on and fell in love with it. I wanted to continue this practice at home, but wasn’t really sure if I was doing it right. I found this podcast, and it has allowed me to continue the practice and feel in community while doing it. I look forward to the recordings each day and praying and singing along. Thank you for creating this. It is much used and appreciated.

We listen to your lauds and vespers during our holy hour since we are usually the only ones in attendance and it brings us great joy. Lately we have been able to share them with other holy hour attendees. They have all found it beautiful and spiritually fulfilling. Thank you.

    I am so grateful!
Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to make this available for the laity. The Liturgy of the Hours are beautiful, and I have missed chanting them. This is such a gift to me especially during this Advent season. I truly look forward to this every day, and will hope to continue to pray with you (and the Church) for as long as you continue to record them. Thank you so very much and may God bless you abundantly!

    Pray ceaselessly
Great job by y Paul and this team. Their chanting of the hours is the best version I’ve heard. The Gregorian chants add reverence to the prayer and helps highlight the readings. It’s definitely a more beautiful prayer when it’s chanted. On occasions, he brings a guest to sing with him, which adds a nice touch and highlights the communal aspect of the Hours. I also appreciate the consistency of uploading twice a day. Thanks for these beautiful renditions and may the Lord bless us all!
  • Thanks, Karen
My heart sings to the Liturgy of the Word
No matter what kind of day I am having, by praying with this Liturgy of the Word in song, my day will be made pure. It completely changes the way I am feeling and my heart is so full. I cannot recommend it enough. I have sent to several family members and friends. I can only hope they listen and pray along.
