This is the best podcast if you wanna practice your Hebrew as an intermediate speaker. Not only do I learn and extend my vocabulary, but I feel like I’m listening to a friend talking about many interesting topics. Nadya’s voice is so soothing. She speaks at a good speed and her podcast podcast helps me feel connected to Israel since she talks about day-to-day life there. It also helps me feel like I’m not forgetting my Hebrew. It’s the podcast I go to when I just want something fun and relaxing to listen to.

Extremely useful and a fun way to get better at Hebrew. I lived here for 3 years and eventually hit a ceiling in my Hebrew speaking, as I was surrounded by foreigners who mostly spoke English. This podcast really helps me step it up 2 another level. Thanks!

למרות שקיימים מלא פודקאסטים בשפה העברית על נושאים מעניינים בהיסטוריה וגם באקטואליה אני תמיד הרגשתי בתור לומד שפה כי לא מצאתי את הקצב המתאים, כך שנשארתי עם טעם מריר בפה. הפודקאסט של נדיה מספר סיפורים באופן ברור ומעניין ומשתמש בשפת דיבור נגישה ללומדי שפה כמוני (לא משנה כמה שנים אתה שולט בשפה שנייה, היא תמיד שפה שנייה). מאז שנהייתי מורה לעברית הארה״ב אני לא מצליח לאתר תוכן אקטואלי שניתן להראות לתלמידים משלי, אך כאן נראה לי שנדיה (תודה נדיה!) פוגעת בול במטרה. מומלץ בחום לכל לומדי השפה העברית!

Nadya's is the best early-intermediate Hebrew resource I've found. It's the kind of resource language-learners search for but rarely find. The topics are interesting, she and her observations about Israeli life are delightful, the language is useful and appropriate, the pace is perfect and pronunciation very clear. Wonderful for an intermediate level Hebrew learner. She used just enough familiar words to help me learn the ones I don’t know and she speaks clearly. I really enjoy these podcasts and feel they have advanced my Hebrew significantly.

This all-Hebrew podcast is a great resource for intermediate Hebrew learners - I wish I would have stumbled across it when it first began. The topics are interesting and Nadya is very good at explaining things, including the meaning of words the listener might not have encountered before. Each episode includes a link to its transcript, which I find very helpful.

I love this intermediate level podcast in Hebrew which is teaching me new words in conversational Hebrew. The podcast is also spoken with full clarity and is spoken slow enough for my brain to process the words but not too slow to dumb down the language. Thank you Nadia! Excellent work.

Nadya has a true talent in communicating Hebrew in a thoughtful and clear manner. I appreciate her pacing and diction as trying to listen to the radio in Israel is usually frustrating due to speed and the Israeli habit of speaking over one another and swallowing words. Nadya’s approach is refreshing. I just wish she could put out two podcasts per week!!

So excited to see the producer / host of this show is putting out new episodes again! A great learning resource, and all around a delight to listen to. Particular favorite episodes are about Tel Aviv and the Rag and Bone Man, but would recommend giving any of them so listen.

This podcast was exactly what I needed to break through my plateau with learning Hebrew. The topics are interesting and engaging on a content based level and the language is just challenging enough where you can learn new words from context (in addition to the ones Nadya explains). The pacing is slow and clear but still feels fairly natural so you can really understand the correct pronunciations and inflections of the various words while still training your ear to automatically understand Hebrew without translating in your head. The only think I could ask for is more episodes ❤️

The best podcast out there for intermediate Hebrew speakers. When I started, I didn’t know enough Hebrew to get through the intro episode but by the end I could understand so much more. It’s also a great way to learn fun and interesting things about Israeli history and culture!

This podcast has interesting topics and is easy to follow and understand. Nadya speaks slowly and explains any big words that she uses during the lesson. It’s just what I needed! My only complaint is that there aren’t more episodes.
