DemandyngA great pair!I was already listening to you both separately and I was excited to find that you have a podcast together. These podcasts have been helpful, raw, and informative in helping me figure out where I can adjust my diet. Thank you both!

greenerthanbeforeLove the showI am carnicurious and have been watching Judy and Laura on YouTube. I was so excited to find their podcast collaboration. I’ve only listened to the most recent episode so far, but I can tell that this will be a regular for me. Can’t wait to dive into past episodes.

Smith720The science is fun but anecdotes are notCrossfitters are losing their periods? Not when numerous top CrossFit women have had babies at the peak of their career. Completely made up statistics and the wrong sport. Please don’t make women think they will lose a period if they eat a carb for energy.

Bubblebut23Do the best you canA great motto to live by and it is refreshing to hear you talk about it Thanks

Courtney Hart/ @mrshart143ThankfulI absolutely love this podcast. I listen to it daily, it keeps me motivated and on track and it helps me to remember “my why”. I am so thankful to both of you- and your hard work and dedication to this podcast, your families, and to all of us who follow and listen. You help us to be knowledgeable and keep us motivated to work on our health and teach our loved ones to do the same! Keep cutting against the grain- in a world full of sheep we need exceptional leaders as yourselves to stand up and be different! We don’t have to feel miserable physically and mentally this isn’t how it “should be” How we treat and fuel our bodies matters! I hope you’re both proud of what you’re doing. Praising God for you both-He’s used you to help me change my life and be healthy-for me and my family! Much love and support take care- Courtney

RtabibLots of ramblingAll over the place. Can’t seem to stay on topic and even then it’s just all over the place. Lost me on one of the podcasts when the talk veered toward coal industry and electric vehicles and that coal is better than solar.

GslinkBinged Every EpisodeIt took some road-trips and listening during work which I can so it’s not an issue. Judy and Laura feel like the sisters I never had. I do have to admit, I know more about women’s issue than I cared to hear! Lol. To be honest, when they went down those roads in my heart I hoped and prayed it was making a difference for those women out there listening. I have been carnivore 100 days and I need to lose 100 lbs but I went into this with Judy and Laura and I knew early on that this process was a long haul and not a quick fix. Having said that, I have seen tremendous results already. I’ve lost 35 lbs so far and my joints feel so much better. My knees thank you!! My background is similar to you too. I am a Christian and we homeschooled our kids successfully. Judy mentions from time to time that we just need to “win the day” and that is huge. You two are making a huge difference in my life and I’m sure in many many lives! Ignore the trolls! Know that are probably a lot of us guys out here! A brother in Christ, Gary

WyoKGYay!Thank you for this content on blood glucose. I am older, thin and never had any pre-diabetic concerns, but have been struggling as my glucose stays in the high 80s and low 90s and morning highs to 100 and thinking I must be doing something very wrong. I don’t spike more than 20 after I eat, which is about 1800-2100k a day, at about 75/25. I have tried upping my fat, upping my exercise, not eating after 4, eating some carbs? But with your chat here, I’m comforted that this is not ‘illness.’ This is the way my body works. I blame Dr. Boz. :)

jfagan13InsightfulHey gals This was a great podcast!! It’s sad that modern medicine scars so many people I know into taking drugs or going into procedures that may not always be necessary for them to heal- and also sad that many people don’t even want to know this information, they just want to keep their heads buried in the sand because they are just scared of the reality and lifestyle changes they would have to make!! Thank you for investigating and speaking up on issues that need to be more “out in the open” for all those to access!!
-
RRRrrachRrLove it!I love your down to earth real talk podcast. Such great realistic advice. Thank you! I would love to see a podcast on what beauty products you use as I’m trying to find moisturizers and make up and what not that is clean. Also, Laura, if you ever do a meet up again in the Phoenix area, please mention it on the podcast. I’m not on social media, so this is the only way I would hear it.😊

Birdie101oo7Thank you both!Your podcast is so refreshing! Thank you both for your common sense view on Carnivore and healing our body! There’s no one size fits all and you ladies make so much sense!
-
KrispyReedAmazingI love this podcast so much. You both are truly inspiring. Please don’t ever stop!!! The world needs you.

Twin mom 1654087Love it!Thank you for being real and saying what needs to be said. Great information and topics I can relate to.
-
HomesteadCarnivoreYou go ladies! 🙊Thank you for being brave enough to speak freely. I couldn’t agree more with this conversation. I am saddened to think of what our future generations would look like thinking of our current state. This is why we need more voices like yours! Keep it up.
-
Heatfan479Episode 104I desperately needed to hear everything in 104!! Thanks to both of you for leading from the front with all the things you say.
-
NicholasAngel2Love these podcasts and questionI love every one of these podcasts. Listening to Laura and Judy is like hanging out with friends. You guys are so real! My question is, with more news about mRNA vaccines being released for animals, do you think your eating habits will change? Will your sourcing change? I can’t find definitive information on whether or not the changes forced on the animals will be passed on to us.
-
StaceyLee53Needed to hear this!I always appreciate your science based podcasts but this one really hit me. I am always tweaking my diet to lose those 15 pounds. Now I realize I need to tweak my thinking just as much of. Thank you for all the free content you both provide. I used to follow many carnivore influencers. Not anymore. You and the Emmerich’s are it. I do miss your weekly podcasts but am thankful for what you do!!!
-
paulina.graziose2 of my #favesHits all the topics re: Food and Fads. Judy is so sweet and sensitive ☺️~ they’re both soooo well spoken and smart!! Blessed.

-
Adapada GLove your showI love how you open the door to doing what’s best for each person…. But you also help us question if what we are doing is what’s best for us or if there’s more we should know about. I agree with your outlook on things and appreciate your honesty!
-
lisamwoodA breath of fresh airI eat animal-strong & found this podcast from watching Laura on YouTube. These ladies are so common sense & down to earth — refreshing for this space. Looking forward to more encouraging conversations from these two. Thanks, ladies!
-
Montana_KelThank you for such a sensible approach to being carnivore!Adding to my previous review - just when I thought I couldn’t love this podcast any more, along comes episode 101! Compassionate, caring sensible!! While I am going to miss weekly episodes, I respect what a time commitment it is. Thank you so much for continuing to provide such important and helpful content! Such an excellent podcast! You bring such a common sense approach that is backed by science. I so appreciate the combination of science and real world experience that you bring to the topic - all while encouraging people to think for themselves! Keep up the great work ladies!
-
TaahineOtuaThe Real DealThankful for this podcast! Laura and Judy are fantastic hosts and the information is invaluable!!! Grateful for the work y’all are doing to share true health with the world!

jedixieLoving this!I just ran across your podcast and I’m so excited! I love what I’ve heard so far and I’m so happy for more healthy information on hand to listen to! I just listened to the episode on restriction and binging and the analogies y’all gave just really clicked with me. I plan on keeping that thought with me every day as a tool to put to good use. Update: February 24, 2022 The episode with Dr Cywes was outstanding. I can’t thank you enough for talking about this topic and what has been making a HUGE difference this time around is I have been focusing on breaking the carb and sugar addiction rather than focusing on the weight loss. It has been a game changer. Stand strong just the way you both are. We need you people! Update: January 2023 I just can’t emphasize enough how good this podcast is. This is my third update lol. Your podcast is the longest I have consistently listened to on carnivore/keto. Your topics are so relevant and your approach is so balanced. Im more keto than carnivore, but I still hear so much helpful and informative information that is just easy to understand so I keep listening and learning. Im so disgusted with the mainstream food lies out there. The information you are putting out just makes plain sense. I used to believe all the old nutrition myths until my body got so down I was willing to listen to different ideas and its made all the difference for good. We hear all this “ science doesn’t lie” mantra, but results don’t lie when your body feels better and your blood results prove it as well.
-
TimmosazzTimmosazzThis podcast is absolutely amazing. This is the best. What I love the most is how you both have the attitude that everyone has there own way through this journey. It is a guideline to help you to stay in your lane. The lane your in is the lane you choose. Love it.

Keto 4 healthGreat informationI am listening to the butter podcast and it has great information, but it made me wonder about the BBBE challenge. Bacon, butter, beef, and eggs only for 30 days.

Keebs87Fatty meat / Mold & CIRS follow-up questionHi y’all, First off - Judy and Laura, y’all make my day. Your friendship is so real and authentic, your knowledge and your dynamic… even if I wasn’t a nutrition geek, I would still listen to y’all. I generally listen to CATG as part of my post-work routine, while on my way to pick up my son from daycare. It brings me such joy. Thank you both for being you! All that said, I have a couple of questions. First off - in a recent episode y’all talked about how fatty meat like steak is preferable to ground beef, even if there’s a good bit of fat (like butter) eaten with the ground beef. I am going to be real here and hopefully not be excommunicated, lol… I don’t love eating the fat on steaks. I don’t eat ribeyes very often, for this reason. I can handle NY strips sometimes although I can’t eat the whole fatty side - I can do a little bit but after a while it kind of makes me want to gag. The steaks I enjoy way more are flank, top sirloin, teres, and bavette - which for the most part are relatively lean - slathered in butter. But generally I much prefer a really good burger (again, with butter and maybe some bacon) to a fatty steak. I love butter. I should mention that I don’t only eat beef - I eat a lot of chicken (mostly wings), turkey, some pork, eggs, and I sometimes enjoy some fatty fish like salmon and mackerel as well. I often use tallow for cooking as my son has a dairy allergy, so if I’m cooking something for the whole family (vs just for me), I will cook it in tallow instead of butter. So - after all that context-setting - my actual question is this: Do you think it’s an issue that I don’t usually eat the fatty steaks? Should I try to get used to them? Or given everything else I eat, is this okay? Next question: I re-listened to episode #66 recently and I’m wondering - unless I’m misunderstanding, it seems like the Cholestyramine will only bind and remove the mycotoxins that make it into the bile… so what about actually removing the mold that is colonizing your system and producing those toxins? My almost-4-year-old son, who has had eczema pretty much since birth, was tested for mycotoxins and the results came back that he has elevated levels of gliotoxin and ochratoxin A. My daughter was tested as well, and she has extremely elevated levels of ochratoxin A. My test came back negative, but I have the HLA-DR “mold gene”, so the fact that it didn’t show up in the urinalysis doesn’t surprise me. Anyway, my point is that I don’t just want to be “mopping up” the toxins in our systems forever. I want to actually get rid of the mold that is the source. So does the Cholestyramine actually deal with the mold itself? Or what is the recommended protocol for dissolving biofilm / killing off the mold colony and all that when you have a CIRS diagnosis? That was a lot, my apologies - but thank you in advance for your reply, and much love!

SwagoutmanY’all rock! You two are awesome! I listen every day as motivation through my own journey! Keep that content coming. You are making a difference. :)))))
-
Brandi K MLike hanging with friends! As a female carnivore I lovvvve listening to Judy and Laura! It’s like sitting with friends having coffee. Perfect blend of science and real life.
-
glowood415Great Q&AThanks for clear and concise podcast. So helpful. Glowood15
-
Mom with a lot of picsThank youI’ve been following both Laura and Judy for my entire carnivore journey…almost 4 years. I appreciate their approach to all topics. Worth the time!
-
Drillert450Always a good show! A+I’m a 3rd time reviewer, always 5 stars! I love listening to your conversations. I don’t really have a question but I just listened to your latest podcast about Laura’s skin removal surgery and you mentioned there are others in this space who’ve had the same type of surgery who decided not to share with anyone….. you do not have to say who, but I’m just SO CURIOUS 🧐 ….. even if you throw out a few clues I may be able to figure it out lol. 🕵🏻♀️

HeyjaceInspiring and reasonableI love these ladies and their podcast is helpful and professional. I look forward to each one and re-listen to many in between.

Stasia2022Pregnancy QuestionHi Judy, You mentioned in an earlier podcast that a zero carb carnivore pregnancy is not a good idea and I was wondering if you could elaborate on why and what would be an advisable way to add carbs in a carnivore friendly way? Would raw whole milk be suitable? Does this hold true for all women, even T2 diabetic women doing keto/carnivore? I would love if you guys would do a whole podcast on carnivore pregnancy/breastfeeding health! ❤️
-
alicea107Love every episode - QUESTIONI love your podcast! I look forward to you guys every wednesday. I have a question about ketosis. Ive been carnivore for 2 years and my ketones stay around .3-.4. My glucose is usually 72-85. I exercise intensely and have alot of muscle mass. Im 52, female, 5’7, 148 lbs and 18% body fat. Why are my ketones so low if I EAT NO CARBS!!!?? Im usually 60-65% fat and 35% protein. Maybe my body just utilizes all the ketones?
-
Meat MargieEpisode 76Loved this episode!!! Thank you for speaking to ketones in such a clear and easy manner.
-
Sara M. E.Love this! This show has been a huge blessing for me! I love how real these ladies are. I’ve laughed and cried listening to them. But most importantly, I’m hopeful my health can get better. They are an encouragement, especially in this lonely and strange way of eating. 😅 Somewhere out there, someone else is eating like me and healing like I am.
-
zacharybrookeAwesome show!I love these ladies! I find myself listening for hours. My question is to something Laura said about Chris needing to start fasting to get his body to release the last bit of glucose out of his liver? (I think…I’m confused. I’m a pre diabetic man in my 40s, 6’4 and 375lbs. I’m on day 11 and using a keto mojo. My glucose is usually 80-100 but I can’t seem to get over .4 on ketones. HELP! And keep up the great content.

jes🥰Topic request!I love this podcast, it’s easy to listen to and doesn’t feel dry like so many podcasts can be about health and diet. They are truthful and have a nice dynamic. Topic requests - more episodes on THYROID / hypo thyroid and adrenal healing / cortisol with Keto diet . I’m so tired of people telling me “YOU NEED CARBS FOR THYROID AND HORMONES”. Please judy we need more episodes about this myth, we need real information. I feel HORRIBLE when I eat carbs. I will not just eat carbs because someone tells me “I need them”. - Judy - more episodes on the overlap of eating disorders in carnivore community. There are so many Instagram influencers who are emaciated and claiming they are healthy - more about the difference between restriction and choice / health for ED people - maintaining weight loss - what does maintaining feel like for someone who has always been focused on losing.
-
Jenkins2020Love your show!I look forward to your show each week. You both bring lots of information, fun, and authenticity to the show. I was recently told that leaking ketones into my urine is a sign of malnutrition. She is a retired nurse of almost 30+ years. I know this isnt the case, but what can I say next time if this is brought up? Thank you for all the positivity with each show!
-
MEJ2017So helpfulHelping me with this lifestyle transition. Laura and Judy present the information in such a usable way that you really can’t go wrong! Thank you ladies!
-
chicagoSharonBio hackingI love all your episodes. This one helped me relax about doing all of the things! I’m healthy and just looking to optimize. Glad I don’t have to cold plunge! And I am looking forward to trying out a tanning bed during the long Chicago winters. Thanks!!
-
one.carnivoreBio hackingThis was one of the most important podcasts I’ve heard from you both and I can say that about most of your podcasts. Instead of bio-hacking every little thing, find the root cause of an issue. Brilliant. 8 billion people are not going to be able to live off of supplement sales and sit in a creek. Better to deal in reality and actually help as many people as possible, than live in some weird fantasy. Great job!!
-
Carissa_NicoleHomeschoolingHi ladies! I absolutely love your show and have listened to every single episode. I love the mix of science and real life talk that this show offers. Would you ever be willing to talk about your experience with the homeschooling programs you have found for your children? Thank you for all you do!!
-
gratefulmvpExcellent, informative podcastThank you, Judy & Laura, for all of the info & jnspiration you share. The segments on fasting & carnivore have been helpful, & I am trying to begin incorporating fasting after years of being away from it. One obstacle I’ve experienced is trouble sleeping when fasting. Have either of you experienced this, & if so, have you found a solution? GABA & 5-htp are helpful to some with sleep issues, & I wondered if either of you have tried these, or if there is any reason not to try them when fasting. Does sleep improve as one becomes accustomed to fasting? I cannot recall if I had this issue years ago when fasting, but it has been an obstacle when trying to fast recently. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge with us. Congrats to Laura on her new job & her transformation weight-wise! (Judy - I am not certain if you ever were overweight, so don’t know whether to congratulate you on this also.)
-
ALadywithFrizzyHairGreat! In a world of narcissistic bros, Laura and Judy are a breath of fresh air. Honest. Friendly. Down-to-Earth. Good stuff.
-
Lisa RudlaffNew listenerJust found this podcast—I’m new to carnivore. Only listened to first episode and #68. So excited , and will be listening every chance I get! Heard talk about buying the cheapest meat, but no mention of wanting to buy meat of animals that have been humanely cared for. That’s a big concern for me. I’d rather spend extra on meat if I know the animals had a good life and weren’t living in the dark with no room to roam. Anybody else feel the same way?❤️
-
JerolphWonderful podcast!!Love these podcasts!! Ive been carnivore for 2 months now after doing keto for a couple years on and off. I have loved how easy it is!! My main reason for always falling off keto (usually 2-3 months at a time) was all the meal prep and cooking involved. Carnivore has helped remove that stress from my life! I feel so much better and my skin is flawless now. I did notice I would be tired and have major muscle fatigue after eating so I searched YouTube for an episode that addressed this and Judy recommended taking a hydrochloride/pepsin supplement to help with stomach acid. It has made all the difference!! Thank you ladies for all you do!!
-
Carni-GalI NEED ADVISEHi from DFW TX. I love you ladies and greatly appreciate your advise and support as a 2 month carnivore. I’m finally losing weight that wouldn’t budge on Keto…and getting off pain medications for Ankylosis spondylitis and Fibromyalgia. I feel horrible when I consume non animal based foods. However, I love Jesus and want to be able to partake in communion at church. This is an extremely important to my faith but the last time I partook of the tiny preparations I felt horrible for 2 days. Would it be weird if I made an egg “bread” and brought a small piece of it and a small sample sparkling grape flavored water with me? Please let me know how y’all navigate this issue. Thanks, Heather.
