I really didn’t think I’d binge this podcast as much as I ended up doing. I started with some episodes covering movies that I had seen already and ended up listening to episodes on movies I thought I had no interest. I’ll listen to skid talk about pretty much anything. This may be the closest we get to a GCN show where they just talk and don’t play any games lol. And it definitely works

Great listen throughout the day!

Even when I don’t know the movie I like to listen. Frankly, there is a golf-announcer quality to the discussion which is comforting and probably a good chunk of why I listen.

Andy’s beautiful voice is a blessing…he’s witty and mostly level headed w his movie views (except one time back in the 90’s he painfully pushed us to see “eye for an eye” over “The Hurricane”….. Doh!). Overall though I love the thoughtful appreciation for the little things the group talks about in some classic movies. Not just the traditional movie reviews. Great stuff!

Skids knowledge and cross-franchise non sequitirs are beautiful

Not only have I watched several franchises I never would have before, but they made me want to rewatch movies I had already seen. The information is great and their joy of movies is infectious! Keep it up guys!

You know, these guys do a wonderful job really breaking down some of the best movies and franchises out there. But the discussions are really interesting and funny and I have to say I’m super digging this podcast!

These are the kind of break downs on movies I enjoy. They do a great job discussing a lot of the angles. Also skid is hilarious.

IIt’s detailed. They are honest. They watched the movies. They love loving movies. They’re buds. It’s the next Evert and Roeper but if those guys were more fun to hang out with.

Came for the Skid stayed for the content. Smart, funny, what more could you require for a movie podcast? Highly recommend 👍👍

I love the banter, love hearing the hot takes on these franchises. Very excited for more. My only very minor gripe is that the episodes are not normalized volume-wise with other podcasts. I can be listening to podcasts at half volume, and have to turn the volume up to max to have even a chance of hearing what’s going (I work in a factory). I just want to hear every juicy detail!

Like other members of the naish, I came support skid and am hooked after the Terminator discussion. Who knew I needed 4 hours of discussion about 2 great movies and 4 duds. Keep at it guys!

The amount of honesty these guys put out towards these franchises should definitely be listened to by movie executives

The title says it all. Three guys who know their stuff talking movies. Love it.

I really enjoy the deep dive and totally nails the problems with the Terminator franchise in ep 1. The underlining problems are the same for a lot of movies sequels: follow your own world’s rules, don’t dial it in, and don’t insult the audience’s intelligence.

3 episodes in and clearly these guys know what they are talking about. I appreciate how they drill down into all the aspects of the franchise as a whole. Can’t wait to hear what they have to say about the franchises they have on their release schedule.

This podcast is so great, I found myself reevaluating and looking back at the movies and on my own opinions of terminator! It was a fun listen and a great nostalgic look back on these fun franchises!

I enjoy the nostalgia and recapturing my childhood, but I love being challenged to look at my old favorites from new perspectives. Very solid commentary!

Love listening to these guys obsess over movies and delve deeply into what works and what doesn't. Can't wait to see what they tackle next.

Another great podcast from Skid Maher whose role in the Waco Siege I WILL NOT go into detail.

Solid podcast breaking down the successes and failures of certain film franchises. The discussion of where certain films in a series went wrong and why they didn’t land is interesting, especially in regards to the Terminator franchise. Looking forward to future episodes.

Love the podcast, followed skid over from the GCP. Can’t wait for more.
