I’m very pleased with hearing this Podcast 159 It happen to come on when I left my house for a walk around Glencoe Mill Village. I live here in a small home next to the Haw River and a fabric factory that closed in 1950. The houses were restored in 1998— It made me look at the mill buildings and equipment left behind in a new way and it’s inspiring me to look at it in a new way to use in my artwork. Thank you for you talk.

Outstanding art critic in her field
Roberta Smith interviewed was so great! Kept it real. RS gave her personal take on her climb as art critic writer. I loved it! Already loved Jerry (her hubby) and now, love her AND a new fav podcast! RS shared her and (Jerry’s somewhat) path as writer person and talk gave me a few artist writer reading assignments. Respect. Great questions too. Thanks!

    Pollock conversation
That was a fun listen about the pollocks and about the back stabbing politics of the authentication committee, but with a brief look at the website, I immediately was sure they were fakes. Pretty paintings but not at all by pollock.

    Ditto: enjoyed Conal interview.
Conal, along with his art squad buddies, was a lifesaver in the late ‘80’s-early 90’s L.A. art scene……a real clarifier, defuser, and peace promoter. Splendid interview!

High Quality Art Podcast; Good Interviewer
One of the better podcasts dedicated the art world. The host brings on great guests (popular and non popular) and he not only asks great questions but tailors them in a way to get good answers out of his guests.

    New Sunday-to-do
I am not able to hear on Tuesdays due to my busy schedule but save it for my Sundays. And it is very relaxing and informative so its my new Sunday to-do. I am still to hear the first three episodes as I started from the 4th. I am very happy and request if possibly we can add some sculptors as well in the podcast episodes. It will be interesting to hear their perspectives.
