Farmin Ain’t EasyQuality EntertainmentLove when Sawyer gets fired up about politics. One of the best parts of the show is when Tork brings out the whiskey minute. Sawyer said they haven’t had a review on Apple for quite a while so here you go, keep up the good work guys.

Farmall and 30 acresGreat motivation.Great podcast and content. Also a lot of information on topics I had no idea even existed on the financial side of farming. I’m a small farmer in Georgia and operate a small Grist Mill and just 30 acres of corn. You guys help keep me motivated to keep growing even though it’s extremely hard to keep making money and I still run equipment from the 70s! Great job guys!

KylewroteareviewGreat ShowAs a young man and beginning farmer starting to transition to full-time, I find the information you bring yourselves and through your guests invaluable. You cover topics that truly matter in today’s world, with honest conversations about farming, business, and personal growth. Barntalk is truly a powerful resource for anybody trying to build a successful operation and a successful life. I would recommend to anyone.

RPMSoilsLLCPork RibeyeI really enjoy your show. I own my own business and have listened to a lot of episodes while soil sampling. I grew up on a family farm in Illinois and have never heard of a pork ribeye. I looked on farmergrade.com and didn’t find any. Where can I get some for the grill?

Mendy’s Furvana RanchI’ll keep listeningKept having clips of the show pop up on Facebook. Decided to pull up a podcast. Listened to a couple of the newer episodes then went back to the beginning. I’m on the road sales and some days have a lot of windshield time. Have a small hobby farm that requires more $$ than a meth habit. I’ve enjoyed the one on one and the interviews.

Greyson 1516 year old who loves the showI’m a 16 year old small time hay farmer from Utah and I gotta say, even though I cannot relate with much of the row crop and hog production, it is still fun to listen to the opinions that u you guys have and to learn from the guests. Great show, love to listen.

BoJaneBorderCollieMommaEx dairy farmerKeep up the great work my husband and I listen together, we quit the dairy part of our operation in 2017 that had been in his family for over 60 years it was hard to quit that part , but we still raise Angus and Registered Katahdin sheep and Border Collies. Love your topics and no holding back on the truth! Love the diversity of topics that you talk about!
-
Boone LangleyGreat Show!I have listened to almost every episode and love listening each week. I am small scale first gen. farmer in eastern NC raising pigs (on the ground), produce, as well as a agrotourism aspect on our operation. I’ve gotten a lot of value from this show and the wide range of guest you have had on. Please keep it going!

Farr FarmsVermont farmerExcellent job getting Jason Mauck on it’s great to hear from people bucking the trend and making it work keep the guest coming and keep up with your passion for ag
-
brdevriesGoodEnjoy your podcast. Like the real farm discussions. Would appreciate you doing an insurance company review on who you & others use and why.
-
Little rip2013Awesome JobLove the show guys. I like that you discuss the big picture of the world and relate it to farmers. I am very interested in the manure separator. My dad and I operate 5000 pig spaces and I am growing tired of paying 20-30k annually to have our manure applied. We farm just enough row crops that it would be difficult for us to have the time to apply ourselves not to mention the investment in equipment. So to say I am intrigued at the idea of separating the manure to have a lower volume material to apply is an understatement and I am looking forward to you guys going into more detail on this.

Juncaj123457780Hard Working American!Love this show! Been following for quite sometime now…. Best audio/video for AG and farm/country life! Even living in the northern Midwest, this is great for farming, small business, people, faith, and overall MERCIA! YEE YEE
-
COME ANDIt is goodVery informational, nice to listen, to too much profanity, could have a little more faith
-
Beaker MusicGOOD OVERALLGood information about the ag business, overall, and specifically the hog business. Can be a good listen. Only negative is amount of profanity. Flows a bit too freely.

Carolina PlowboyNC Hog & Crop FarmerFrom a Contract Hog Producer and Row cropper in Eastern North Carolina. We Love the show! Great guest and info!
-
Ufferey JGreat Podcast!!You guys do a great job of getting guests who are smart, entertaining and have something to challenge you with and get you thinking! I’ve worked with many engineers in my life and you could always tell the ones that grew up on farms or ranches! They’d look at the problem, understand the problem and solve the problem! No drama!! I know that the farm tourism thing has Sawyer thinking. Here’s a hint Sawyer, keep your prices low and give a free box of Farmer Grade meat with every visit! You won’t BELIEVE how many visitors you’ll have!!
-
mealpreppinqueenExcellent showMy dream is to be on your show talking shop and at the end we would have a whiskey minute!
-
Jgpittman3Not A Farmer and I Still Love ItBarn Talk is one of the few podcast I consistently listen too and I’ve been listening for a few years now! I grew up in Wisconsin which is farm country so hearing them talk about life on the farm reminds me of home and the biggest reason why I love this podcast is the dad who is a cohost! I lost my dad a few years ago and listening to him and his interaction with his son helps me go through life without my dad! Keep up the good work fellas!
-

-
Clint ReimanRegenerative AGListened to the last Q&A Podcast. In regards to Regen Ag not answering the question, “Is regenerative ag sustainable?”. Will Harris was on the “Meateater Podcast” and was posed that question. I’m going to butcher this, but in a round-about way, he said it could not feed the world, and that the American farmer should worry about feeding all of America first. I agree, it is nice for us to have options and people should buy what they want.
-
nick 423617ExcellentLove listening to you guys! It’s nice to hear other young farmers talk about the issues and the future.
-

davisrw21Good mix of ag, business, life podcastGood example of rural American folks speaking their minds. Good discussions about agriculture, business, and life from the perspective of farmers. From south Ga and thoroughly enjoy listening to this podcast every time a new episode pops up.

Rob R. from NCI want to rate it higher but I can’tHey guys, I just wanted to let you know that I think at your core, the content is great. It’s the kind of stuff that I want to hear about and get insight. My main reason for not rating higher is the sheer amount of foul language. Especially on one episode that I listened to that did not have the “E “on the label. I am very aware of our First Amendment rights and I am a devout supporter of our constitution. I just think the almost obnoxious use of foul language was just too much. I understand the use of a word to put dramatic emphasis on something, but just to say it over and over and over and over again was too much.

Hoosier-JoshIndiana Farmer Enjoying the Show!Growing up on a pig grower & corn/soybean family farm, unlike my older brother, I didn’t necessarily gravitate much toward it. Now being almost 40 years old, I’ve recently moved back home from living out of state for a handful of years and find myself with a growing appreciation for the farm’s 6-generation legacy, as well as a growing passion to learn the family business and get more involved. Your podcast has helped fuel this as of late, which I thank you for. I love listening to the perspectives of your 2 generations! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is simply because on some episodes, the profanity reaches a level where I could do without it personally. But overall, you guys are doing great. Keep it up!
