    More.
There will never be enough content about The Big Fighter. For those of us that also had the dream, there will never be enough. While the topics are appreciated and loosely adhered to, the real captivation is the people and the stories. The career journey. Every single person personifies the phrase “you can’t make this up” and “stranger than fiction.” Please, just start grabbing the characters you know and hit the record button. You guys are the legends and this closeness and realness you from a deeply unimaginable realm is what we clamor for. For us, your “couple hours on a Tuesday” we would give up a lifetime for. Every drop of this is immensely appreciated. To think that a short time prior we could have had a Snort and Hoser interview is painful. Snort stories, Hoser stories, as many of the female aircrew as can be mustered, Stuart Meat Broce (I’ve got his autograph on a Tomcat trading card From VX-4 at the PMTC Airshow) and any other Air-to-Air victory stories, exchange pilots, test pilot/nasa test, the actual fastest tomcat pilot…. I bet your list is longer…. Outstanding work, and THANK YOU.

Excellent job by Bio & Crunch on the F-14 podcast, and it was great while it lasted. Excellent stories, including the former Iranian Air Force Tomcat pilot, who spoke of his combat flying during the Iraq war.

    Thanks!
Well it’s came to an end. I’ve really enjoyed listening to you guys the past year. I was never in the military but always loved jets since I was a young kid watching top gun for the first time. My almost 13 year old son now wants to go to the navel academy because of listening with me. Thanks again for the past year and hopefully you will bring it back and we can hear some more.

    From the ground
As someone whose been in 3/75 for years now I never thought I’d hear the word “Ranger” so much on the Tomcast! Awesome pod and it’s hard to explain the confidence it gives guys on the ground hearing you party animals above us! Great pod keep it up.

    Who doesn’t love the tomcat?
What a great retrospective on the F-14 Tomcat from the pilots and rios that flew and fought in it. I love the discussions in each episode. It is also cool that you are discussion Top Gun the real school and the movie as well.

    ATs episode 👍🏼
Big fan of the podcast, love all the episodes. As a former airframer in a VS squadron, I really appreciated hearing the stories from your recent episode with the ATs. Please consider future episodes featuring other enlisted ratings also.

    Need to provide more explanation
I’m not sure who the intended audience is for this podcast but I think that if the audience is anything other than F14 pilots that the story telling would benefit from more explanations of the terms and procedures being described in the stories. I’m not a pilot but I do understand much of the terminology, however I would guess that many people do not. For example, in a recent episode the pilots being interviewed said that their re-fueling “went sour”. I think that means that there was a failure of the refueling equipment. It would be interesting to know what exactly happened and why. I have several examples of this sort of thing. I’m a flying enthusiast so I am interested in all of the details of the systems and procedures being described… I think the podcast would be much more interesting if they explained more of what they were talking about.

    Completely brilliant!
This is one of those rare podcasts that combines two fantastic hosts with guests that spin some of the best stories I’ve ever heard. Do you like technically specific stories? This show has it. In depth real world accounts? Ditto. Humor? Every episode delivers plenty! If you haven’t already checked this podcast out don’t wait any longer. It is well worth your time.

You want to write it down…
Every so often a podcast comes along that you really would like to have a transcript of. It’s a real treat to hear from people in various roles, and to dig a little deeper into my favorite airplane. Thanks, fellas!

    Fantastic
This is fantastic. Great hosts, great depth of discussion, great guests and great jet. Thank you.
  • Hesprus.
Eeeyoooo... Wow, that's a lot of technical details!
The more I learned about the F-14 the more it seems like something where they were biting off way more than they could chew, technologically speaking. This podcast confirms it.

What a great Fighter and great show.

    Great for us aviation geeks
Always interesting and informative. Best part is is how Dave and Craig break things down to a basic level so someone who has no experience in aviation can enjoy and understand it. Best of luck with this

    Great Podcast Gentleman
I just had an opportunity to listen to the first episode and it was great. Kurt was fantastic! Thanks for having him on to explain to all of us what it was like to test the Tomcat. I always wondered why it was nicknamed the turkey. Please have Kurt back in the future. Can’t wait to listen to the next episode.

    Fantastic podcast.
Another fantastic podcast by BVR productions about a truly legend in the aviation world. Great interviews and really fun and informative!
  • Christopher126
    Kurt was just excellent!
One of the best podcasts I’ve listened to. Crunch and Bio really let Kurt talk and I it enjoyed it immensely. I was a Navigator in the Navy in the Med 77-81 and the Tomcat was the new big dog. I read that Grumman named the F-14 the Tomcat, b/c a lot of the Admirals making the purchase decision on the plane were named Tom. Again, maybe an urban legend. :) Great job, guys and a real shout out to Kurt! :)
  • ChelseaLemley
Love it. Look forward to more!
First episode was great. To everyone at BVR pro I want MORE!
  • Mousitch
    Really nice work!
I learned so much I didn’t know and I thought I knew a lot about this awesome plane. Can’t wait for more!

    Amazing
First episode was incredible. Really looking forward to a full year of content! Well done guys!!
  • RocketRakoon
    Another great BVR product!
Absolutely love the first full episode on the iconic F-14 Tomcat fighter. Crunch and Bio do a great job and their first guest, Kurt Schroeder, was great at covering many aspects of this tremendous airplane that only a test pilot could provide. I’ll be coming back every other “Tomcat Tuesday” for the next episode in the F-14 Tomcast!

    A must for Tomcat lovers
Outstanding first interview of a true legend!
  • Chimaera04
    Brilliant
Excellent introduction to the legend. Based upon Kurt’s stories, the F-14 certainly lived up to the legacy of “Grumman Iron Works.” One question: shouldn’t the silhouette of the F-14 be… inverted?
  • CarrollM0
    Just excellent
Another winner for “Jello” and BVR productions. Well researched, good discussion, and likable hosts. Also the greatest A2A fighter ever!(According to 10 year old me😉) If you like naval aviation, you can’t miss this.
  • Thezevos
    Great idea
The Fighter Pilot Podcast, The Merge, now this!! Great concept for a great airplane. From the designers, builders, pilots, maintenance crews, plane captains and flight deck crews. Millions of people loved this aircraft and what a way to honor it. Great job Jello
