KarlisaJadeHeadacheI love Abby on TBS. I find most of these episodes interesting, BUT…I get such a headache listening to them. Is there a way to slow down the speaking and reduce the pitch or something? I turn my volume down but then can’t hear well enough to understand the narrators words. Something is off with the sound and it’s not just one episode but nearly all.

GdjdjsoebeMiss the old episodesI miss the older episodes. They were so exciting and interesting. I haven’t been able to get through an episode in the past ~8 months. I never have listened to the break down bonus episodes just because I hate the chatter, but it’s nice they’re in a separate file I don’t have to click on! My complaints/ wishes are the same as many other reviews so hopefully a positive change will be made! I used to love listening but unfortunately don’t anymore.
-
ald216aUsed to love itI can’t stick around anymore. There are WAY too many replays and I don’t listen to the break up breakdowns, it’s often the same advice. The stories have become much shorter (when they aren’t replays) and the ads longer… what’s the point?
-
19DeeDee78Ransom note idiotMaybe I started with the wrong episode. I really like Abby on TBS and was hopeful to find a new podcast to enjoy! But the “ransom” girl on today’s episode sounds like an idiot and a really bad story teller. Nothing about her story made any sense whatsoever. Maybe I will try again at some point but if this is the kind of people your stories come from count me out.

AndreaAnnJust listen!Really enjoy the podcast and how Abby edits to keep the stories on point but doesn’t take away from the interview. Great job Abby, keep them coming!

kswar66Love this podcast!!I binge listened when I found this podcast. I love it!!!

Pause button predicamentLove it!Fun podcast! Great stories!

bigpodcastfanMissing Old EpsI’ve been listening for a long time and the episodes used to be so long and interesting. Lately the episodes have been much shorter, the stories are pretty basic breakups, and the ads are so long proportionally to the episode length. I know this pod can do better because it was in the beginning! Still love, but I just hope you can take this feedback into account.
-
CC5XOAdsI LOVE the show and Abby, but recently the ads have started in the middle of a word or between words that go together. For example when Abby is introducing the show blah blah blah breakup ***AD*** breakdown. It’s a little strange and jarring, but I still love and appreciate everything Abby does with the show

Clementine000Slow your roll! Why is the podcast played with fast-forwarded voices? AnnoyingAF

njrkjrjkrjrVery monotoneNow sure what I’ve spent a hour listening to but very monotone and didn’t listened to anything. Sounds like a long voicemail of I’m not even sure of about what: 🫣 I know iv heard the Bert show randomly taking about it but it sounded like women in boxes and I got nothing from it and I’m a mother of a shaken Baby survivor and dv x 5 dv survivor I think it may need more context and less monotone

Amber SmilesA-MAZING!!!! SO MUCH DRAMA!!The stories that are shared on this podcast are insane! I was sad I was single until I heard these stories LOL! I’m okay with being single now lol! Great podcast! Super entertaining and every episode is a jaw dropper!!!! I am here for all this drama!!

Bookston69No more LexiPlease get a different co-host. Lexi sounds like she smokes a pack of cigarettes a day, and she totally fakes having a lisp. In the beginning episodes she doesn’t have one. Now she has one. And they are easy to fake, it’s so cringe. Bring back only Justin.
-
ParkKatePerfectionI LOVE this podcast, it’s so perfect for Nosey Nellies like me 🤭 the content is so entertaining and Abby, Lexi & Justin are all so fun to listen to and learn from. I get so disappointed during season breaks!
-
keith_DCGreat show!!!Love the show, but everyone that Abbey interviews talks so fast!! Not sure if they have been sped up, but it’s exhausting to listen to them.
-
SanitySanityTrue crime of break upsSO GOOD!!
-
Spreadhead78Super Entertaining Pod!!!Love the crazy breakup stories. While I think it’s fantastic that the podcast is supporting different women’s shelters, it would be nice to be given a description of the actual upcoming episode content rather than just the charity being promoted for the week. Also more people would probably click through and listen if they were given an episode description. Love Abby on The Bert Show too!
-
Shawn Kemp JrAnother unqualified podcastI love how people on the radio shows that just because they have a microphone in a job that they can give out and look into very serious issues of trauma. Stick to reporting entertainment news and stay away from things that actually have an impact on peoples lives. You are in Oak Way qualified to chime in on anything revolving around mental health. Gave the podcast a chance because I enjoy The Bert Show, but this is just way too cringe.

britttneyyyyLove this! ♥️💯I was listening to the Bert Show today and was loving what Abby was saying. I got on instagram and went to the Bert Show to find Abby to follow. I looked at her “Meet our new co-host Abby Murphy!” Link and instantly knew I would like her! The most relatable thing about her from her article was “While I love getting out-and-about, most days I'm impulse buying books on my phone. I know that makes me sound super brainy, but TBH I have to be bribed to read anything without romance in it. I'm not ashamed to admit I was a Twi-hard back in the day (Team Edward is the only answer) and have recently joined the BookTok craze around fantasy novels and romcoms with cute cartoon covers.” As I kept reading, I learned she had a podcast. I opened up Apple Podcast and played some of her earlier episodes. They are amazing! Being someone who has gone through A LOT of tough breakups, I related so much to the content. Not to mention, Abby makes the podcast fun, enticing, and engaging! I look forward to listening to them all!
-
Modge PodgeFun listenReally interesting premise and great job choosing guests to share their stories. Sometimes the host can seem a bit insensitive with more serious stories of abuse. I really love that the show supports domestic violence shelter as I think you should replace Justin in the commentary episodes & look for people with more diverse perspectives. It’s honestly so boring to hear his extremely limited takes based on the two girls he dated.
-
AliKat learningFirst podcastThis is the first full podcast I’ve ever heard and I felt like you were a friend in my car speaking to me. Thank you for your honesty and being vulnerable. Without actually knowing you but hearing you made me feel not alone. I am excited and willing to work on myself knowing that there are others out there feeling the same way 💚
-
Maizey2020Great podcast!!!!My girl Abby is awesome! Absolutely love the episodes and the lessons that are learned from them.

Blondiee49Amazing!I thought I heard (or seen) everything until I heard this! I love listening!

mamabesr0829Love this podcast!New listener-Love this podcast! I listen to it on my way to work! Abby- you’re doing a great job here and on the Bert Show. Ignore the few negative reviews posted, sometimes people just like to have something to complain about!

Tigerlily1402Well Done, Abby!Abby! Well done, my dear. This is an incredible podcast. I’m here from the Bert Show 😉. This podcast reminds me of the Something Was Wrong Podcast, but I think the key difference here is personal accountability- wether it be an inability to spot red flags or not taking the time to properly vet a partner before jumping into the relationship. Victims of abuse are not responsible for their abuse, but what we can all learn from is how to spot the signs of abuse and IPV and potentially save ourselves from toxic relationships. I’m a survivor of IPV and I was so naive going into relationships that ultimately traumatized me. I’ve done deep healing work, and I’m now helping educate others about the warning signs and offering support to those trying to extricate themselves from toxic and abusive relationships. Thank you for this podcast! I’ve been forwarding the episodes to friends in similar situations.

1and4Abby’s PodcastI’ve tried listening twice, but Abby talks so fast I can’t understand anything she says.
-
RayabihI enjoy itDefinitely great for light entertainment. Here from TBS and you’re awesome. I hope the positive reviews shine brighter than the negativity ❤️
-
Cookie AzHost is very immatureHost is very immature and listened to a couple episodes. A person that told her story said like so many times that I could not finish listening.
-
CoolMar29Loving this podcastP1 Bert Show fan here - love this podcast! Thank you for being so awesome.
-
LalaUbarriNot for meTrying to like it …but not for me

-
BringitbacjMehDon’t love you on The Bert Show!
-
Alyrostlove!!entertaining podcast, i like how they get right to the story. my only critique would be abby sounds a bit insensitive at times…specifically the intro on the last episode
-
basic...witchLove love love!!!This is my very favorite podcast to listen while washing my hair! 😂
-
Allison EmmaBi men arent “actually gay”, actuallyI really liked this podcast but Episode 17 was really hard to listen to with the sudden, bizarre biphobia. I understand the ex is supposed to be the villain on this show but I feel like you can get that point across without calling his entire sexuality into question.
-
KatkatrGood Stories, Skip the CommentaryThe stories are interesting but the host cannot give decent advice to save her life. Kind of weird to listen to people bare their souls and share their traumas with someone who has the emotional intelligence of a Buzzfeed quiz.
-
The cool momagerAbby, well done!I will admit I sometimes fast forward to hear your commentary I am having so much fun! You’re awesome! Way to create a niche and flourish! I just sent it to my girls. Liz S

ev3rynicknamewastakenEntertaining but immatureOverall I enjoy this podcast, it’s fun to listen to the tea and finally get the backstory on the breakups. However, the hosts seem pretty immature on some of their takes, even the coworker who’s married. There’s a lot of dependence on stereotypes when discussing what “men want” or what “women want” and it makes me uncomfortable. They should do more research on what counts as toxic and unhealthy in a relationship.
-
yiiikesSUCH a fun listenAs someone who LOVES watching romance reality TV, this is SUCH a fun podcast to listen to! The host interviews with empathy and humor, empowering her guests to share their crazy relationship stories in a judgement free zone. I’m so excited for more episodes to come out!
-
amor4153452234InsensitiveI listened to the first few episodes and felt like the casual jokey tone the hosts were going for just doesn’t match with the fact that they’re interviewing guests about the worst experience of their life. It was super jarring to hear them crack off jokes about a guest’s husband trying to “kill them slowly” which was pretty much the last straw for me. They’re clearly not equipped to handle topics like this

hduftjgjnLOVE THIS PODCASTHi abby! I’m kayla, I used to have a podcast but don’t anymore because of how much hard work it is! Bravo! Anyways, just wanted to take a sec to tell you how much I love this podcast. It’s my go-to listen whenever I’m In the car! Also, LOVE the random Jesus tid-bits. I’m one of the people who backed out of telling their story. Every time I listen it makes me wanna message you again on insta. Anyways, you’re amazing. Keep it up!
-
Steph102938Lakes EmpathyI like other peoples drama as much as the next person and love the concept of getting the tea. However, it feels like the hosts lack empathy and sometimes during the interviews the questions feel very cold especially when talking about serious issues such as DV. Additionally, when talking about personal dating stories the way the hosts were making fun of the people they were dating it really left a bad taste. EX: Kennedy talking about how one guy brought up how he was hurt by one of her “joking” comments and he shouldn’t be so sensitive. Like c’mon. We rag on men for not being sensitive/vulnerable but then make fun of them when they are?? Make it make sense. (Coming from a woman) I think this podcast could be something great but I have to stop listening.
-
Scoy519YikesThis show handles serious topics like DV with nonchalance. This show is the definition of lacking empathy.
-
rachwolf22Immaturity and ignoranceI know the show is supposed to be fun and entertaining which at times it is. But it is so clear how young and immature the hosts are. The commentary plays into classic male and female roles, stereotypes, and almost always is in heteronormative language. They also have no idea how to speak about serious topics brought up such as domestic violence. This show is not doing what it thinks it’s doing.
-
Mickimoo3The chisme! My friend showed me this show last Thursday and I have not been able to stop binging it at work. Love the drama, but I also love the rational conversation around different aspects of relationships.
-
jillabeans028 episodes in and I’m obsessedGets in, gets the dirt, gets out. I love this so much. So easily consumable and so much fun to listen to! Thanks for such a great idea!
-
mikeshardpassHeteronormativeThis podcast is certainly entertaining, but it would certainly leave a bad taste in the mouth of any queer individual. This spans from giving all advice in very heteronormative terms, to heavily playing into stereotypes of queer or non-monogamous relationships, to clearly passing judgement on relationship formats they are unfamiliar with. It doesn’t seem as if the hosts are doing this in an actively malicious manner, but ignorance is just as harmful.
-
Justjill29Looking forwardThis podcast has much potential. Maybe a partner, better sound quality- things you can obtain as you grow. Perhaps a little more quality vocabulary and sprinkle in some expert interactions/ guests as you gain momentum. Also, insta needs some love. But maybe I have a Gen X perspective and tik tok grasps your preferred audience. Love the way you get your guests back on track when they go off the rails… keep a nice sequence and ask the right questions to help understand the path. Intrigued and added to my rotation!

taxpantsFlippant about domestic abuse?Brushing off domestic abuse as a qUiRkY breakup made me feel super icky.
