    Sound quality : cops
The sound quality of older episodes make them unbearable to listen to, would be cool for some reboots. I enjoy this podcast though. Lots of reviews about “blaming cops” but those people are just hive mind. Sometimes the cops DO make mistakes.

    One of the best!
Kendall is awesome! Great voice, excellent storytelling, thoughtful commentary. I also love how down to earth and real this podcast is… Thank you Kendall!

    Wonderful creator
I start following her about 3 years ago when she covered a local case. I enjoy her voice and the way she speaks about the victims never disrespects. I love this creator
  • Identify987
Feels like she’s not into TC anymore
She clearly doesn’t do her own research anymore, it feels like that she doesn’t care anymore. Victim blamed a 12 year old for being groomed by an adult and tried to pass the blame onto her researcher. You didn’t read the script over before hand? Did you not realize what you were saying? She used to be such a champion for missing persons cases, John/Jane Does, unjust outcomes but now it’s mainly solved cases, people faking cancer, and spouse murdering spouse cases. I don’t want to diminish these cases but I feel like the attention could be used elsewhere You watch a video of hers from 8 years ago and it’s like it’s a completely different person. She used to be this carefree, hippy girl who partnered with small businesses and journal companies but I feel like she’s lost interest in true crime

Always seems to be pushing the blame on the police
I used to really enjoy Kendall Rae’s YouTube/podcast but as of recently she has been really criticizing law enforcement. I understand sometimes there are errors made or mistakes but always having something negative to say about them is kind of outrageous- even when they solve the case. Just my opinion & I’ll continue to watch I just wanted to share.

    Love how you give back
I love true crime podcasts, but at the end of the day they are profiting on grief. Kendall however, does it right. It’s rare for her to have an episode where she doesn’t donate to either to the family, their chosen cause or to the case. She’s also compassionate, you can tell she really cares. And finally, she makes it a point to seek out cases that aren’t as publicized and tries her best to spread awareness and gives her listeners crystal clear methods to help the cause. She really makes a difference, and she tells the stories beautifully. Can’t recommend enough!

    Insane amount of ads
This is a decent podcast and the stories that are covered are good and the way that the host donates to good causes is great however, there are ads every few minutes it's unbearable
  • chinawhite66
    Too many commercials
    It’s gotten ridiculous. It’s every 5 minutes

    Respectful True Crime Telling
You are one of few creators I’ve found who personalizes victims in true crime stories & is respectful to the families. Telling us who the victim was & all of the good things they brought the world is refreshing. Thank you ❤️
  • SteSoMa
    Opinions and swearing and audio
Too many opinions! “My personal opinion” “I think” “he should’ve” “they should’ve” that and the swearing omg! I thought I would try a new podcast after coming from another one I have an hour drive from my house to drop y kids off at daycare and the amount of swearing I had to take it off almost immediately. Secondly can we stop with the interrogation add ons when I put my headphones in it sounds terrible!!! And literally cannot even understand it it’s all static!
  • BayPerezz
    Entertaining, but too opinionated
I liked her videos! Until I realized she is just really opinionated about it. She is quick to blame the police in every situation, when that’s not the case.
  • Kamzz123
    Not here to k*** shame?
Last week I would’ve given Kendall 5 stars. Listened all the time. No longer. In the episode I just listened to she dared to say “not trying to kink shame” when discussing teen CSAM! As a victim of this myself and coming from a content creator who puts themselves in a position of expertise on the subject of true crime, I am horrified. Apologize!!
  • strongmom81
    Fabulous
I am hooked and love the way to tell these stories. I wish you did it more frequently cause I love them.

    5 stars
I would just like to say how much I love listening to you! I work at a hotel doing housekeeping 3 days a week and I listen to you the entire time. I have listened to every one of your episodes so I’ve tried to find others that are as good as you, but I have yet to. What I end up doing, is re listening to one that you have already done. I also was wondering if you could cover the murder of Brenda Powell. I apologize if you already have. I looked but never found it. Thank you again for making my work days more bearable!
  • KSL2246
    Terrible narrating
The narrator is chatty and nauseating.. she keeps interjecting her opinions rather than just concentrating on the facts of the case..
  • Misty Mae Middleton
    Amazing and captivating
Kendall has a way with captivating and down to earth!! She share true crime stories with empathy and compassion. She keeps the stories real and honest. She has a heart for the victims and loves to give back to the families.

    Electric Forest Festival
100% the officer was correct when he said that everyone going to these music festivals goes to do drugs!! I’ve been to these festivals and I’ve never met sober people there!!!
  • ewhatsupwithya
She needs to work on storytelling skills
Her eps are all over the place. Rants, background info, current details, etc. it’s a jumbled mess. Decent podcast but I wish she would work on her storytelling.

    Spectacular Suzanne Simpson Episode
Thank you for the spectacular episode recapping the Suzanne Simpson murder. I have been following this case via several different podcasts, but your podcast included several details that are new to me. I also enjoyed that you didn’t pull any punches calling a spade a spade with reference to Brad’s lack of character and compassion. I would like to see you cover additional episodes once the trial begins.
  • KitKatt32761
    Okay podcast but has issues
While I don’t mind this crime podcast, and like the host, the editing and writing is TERRIBLE. Too many times the host verbatim describes, say, an interview and then we listen to a clip that just says what the host verbally said and offers nothing in it being included. Like what is the point? Either just keep it stated by the host or the audio clip and move on. Audio clips are also oftentimes pointless in general and unnecessarily long to the point it’s confusing why it’s even included or meander or add little value. Not to mention many of the audio clips are so hard to hear, again, why bother? Many times the commercials are set at a way older setting than is needed. I swear, do these podcasters understand the English language? Wrong verb tense or wrong use of a word…it’s rather sloppy and embarrassing. And annoying. Maybe the visual format is more effective, which is what this podcast is based on—the audio version of the YouTube version. if so should be edited accordingly and not just slapped on a podcast. Lastly, the more recent years of this show has a TON of commercials. Literally 3 min of content then a bunch of commercials…seriously? Half of each episode is nothing but commercials. Again, an ok crime podcast and I do like this show tries to show the victims as people and not just about the crime—but I wish quality was important to these people.

    Latest episode
You didn’t actually start telling Nicki’s story for 15 minutes. All the fluff with “she just lit up a room” doesn’t need to go on for that long.

My new go-to true crime podcast
I have been listening to true crime podcasts for years, even considered starting my own, but this is the first one I have came across that goes on a deep dive about the victims before they were killed and I absolutely love that aspect. They deserve to be known for all they were not what happened to them and I believe it says a lot about Kendall that she focuses on that. I also love that Kendall is super respectful to all cultures, she never has passive digs, always stay neutral. I will be recommending this podcast to all my true crime fan friends.
  • MAAAADSUS
    Love it!❣️
I don’t understand why people go on podcasts & complain about ads when… they can literally just skip them. The ads are the reason they can continue doing more episodes that they want to listen to in the first place lol Love it❣️

Kendall, your podcast was okay, but I unsubscribed when I heard you blatantly lying about gun registration in the “Bart Simpson” episode. What else do you lie about?
  • Melish T
    Whats with the photo😂
I like the show and I like the host, but what is with the Tinder style profile pic as your host photo? I want to listen to you talk about True Crime, not date you or join your only fans. Geez.

    Excellent
I recently started listening. I enjoy the variety of cases, but the host is fantastic. This show will keep you interested

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love this podcast. I’ve been listening for years. Kendall is an amazing podcast host. Her voice is nice to listen to and she speaks fluently. Sound quality is on point. These episodes are actually researched and Kendall is extremely careful to not spread misinformation. I love the genuine kindness she has for victims’ families. Outstanding podcast hosted by an outstanding human.
  • zhoee14
    Love it but
I love to listen to Kendall Rae. The only thing that turns me off is when she plays actual footage. It’s really distracting. I feel like I’m listening to a good story and then she plays the loved ones and I can hardly understand the static. I feel like it wastes time when you could just say it and it would be clear and I’d understand.
  • Beataenglert
    Love this podcast!
I really love her podcast. So much better than many others out there and she doesn’t sound fake like she’s reading and being dramatic like on Crime Junkie. She sounds natural and so good at telling the heartbreaking stories. Highly recommended!
  • 9twelve
    Disgusting
“I’m not here to kink shame” after reading about an offender who was searching the ABUSE of TEENS and TEEN SA?!? Why WOULDN’T you shame him?!? Gross….
  • Abrunk
    Started out strong, but…
When Kendall Rae first started this series it was really good. You could hear the passion in her voice as she told us these stories. Within the last year, maybe two, it’s almost unbearable. It’s even hard to take it seriously. She even sounds like she’s boring herself. There’s no passion, nothing but frustration. I understand these cases are very frustrating, but don’t act like it’s a chore to tell the story. If that’s the case don’t bother podcasting.
  • Barbie Fox
    Love Kendall Rae!
I came across her podcast on YouTube. I’ve only been listening for a few weeks. She’s excellent!
  • Avsteluga
Same old stories and too many ads
We’ve heard all of these cases sooooo many times before. Kendal sounds completely unenthusiastic about them. And way too many ads.

    Excitement
I love Kendall and her voice soothes me to sleep on a nightly basis. To say I was excited to see that she’s back from her much deserved break is an understatement. Love the pod and all things smile Higher. Highly recommend ❤️

I love the new cover picture!!
  • __tabbycat__
    My opinion
I enjoy this podcast and find the host’s voice very soothing, which makes it a nice listen. That said, many of the cases covered are well-known to those who follow true crime, and I’d love to hear more about lesser-known stories. I agree with other reviews mentioning the frequent ads—they do feel a bit excessive compared to other podcasts I listen to. Still, the content is engaging, and I keep coming back for more.

    Leave out your opinions
I’m new to the show but a long time listener of True Crime Podcasts. You are a great speaker and the editing is awesome, one thing that makes this hard to listen to is your constant opinions and favoritism towards women. I have 2 daughters so I love empowered women, just please leave your opinions out of the story and just state the facts and witness accounts please. The show would be much better. Other then that keep doing what your doing!

    5 ⭐️ Podcast
Absolutely 💯 love ❤️ true crime considering earned both degrees in CJ, work in the field. She does a great job covering the stories, explaining/detailing the crime, covering facts/ evidence for the prosecution. She does a fine job being a victims advocate considering most CJ systems are not necessarily sympathetic towards those affected by crimes. Let’s help this podcast grow & go, spread the word for more subs, rate/review so we get more content. This is definitely a 5 ⭐️show strongly recommend.

    Love love love you guys!
I love you guys! I’ve been trying to figure out how to email you! My best friend was murdered when we where 16 in traverse city Michigan this is a case you would be very interested in think and I think people need to hear about it her killer was a close friend who keep trying to appeal to get out of prison. The claims he made and the fact he helped us look for her the whole thing. I would love her story get out!
  • LJohnson2011
    Too opinionated
Just get to the story. I can’t handle how much time she spends sharing her own opinion and name calling. We all agree that they’re scum. Get to the story already.
  • Rakster124
    Amazing
One of the only truly ethical, victim centered podcast - and the work Kendall Rae does outside of the podcast is amazing. I’ve been a true crime podcast fan for so long and this one is so under rated - wish I could rate it even higher

Please make sure to do an update on this case, as a suspect, has been arrested and is being extradited back to Arizona from Tennessee. The media is focusing so much on calling her an exotic dancer and forgetting to talk about all of the great things that she was that I feel like you could do justice for her by taking all of that negative energy off of her story.
