Great podcast, but Frawley grates with her aggrieved and incredulous tone (even when I agree with her). Hope she cools off a bit.

I like the counterpoints and level headed discourse of the show but you guys kicked off Nina for political safety. I just can’t get behind that.

Geoff has got to learn to speak in a smoother way. Great writer, but hard to listen to when talking. Everything else is great

I’m always astounded when a podcast doesn’t make an effort to have the best sound possible. I mean, what is one of the top 2 most important elements of a successful audio podcast if not AUDIO? A lot of times it’s because the guest doesn’t bother to have a proper headset or mic or they don’t manage to balance the audio levels of different speakers. With this podcast though, they have a completely different issue. I’m not a tech so I can’t tell for sure but something in the audio processing causes the levels to jump from moment to moment. Soft sounds are barely heard and then a syllable is stressed and it’s uncomfortably loud. It all adds up to an annoying experience. I’m really disappointed because compact has conversations I want to listen to. I wish there was some sort of podcasting group that set standards for members to follow or at least to understand so they could produce listenable episodes. The radio industry did it so why no podcasting?

A lot of intelligent guests and insightful takes on politics , economics etc.

I liked the interview with Gord Magill. I want to hear more working class voices.

Great podcast on politics and culture from a dissident Right perspective, although Matthew Schmitz could improve his dry delivery.

This is the anti-cable news show we needed. The crew challenge their listeners and shake us all into much needed heterodox thinking. I particularly enjoy Nina’s brave and fearless perspectives on issues, in particular feminism and the orthodox thinking it has fostered.

This sturdy little 30 minute pod is convenient for young intellectuals on the go. Sohrab, Nina, Matt and Edwin are awesome.
