    We need another season!

    Great.
I really like this series a lot. I’ll listen to and watch anything with Dianna Agron in it. The implications of this future are so near to our own as to be eerie. The series very much has an Orphan Black feel to it and I love that.

    Ready for the second season
Great series and really excited to see what the next season brings . 😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥

    Fun!
    When’s the second season coming?!
  • Sutton810
    Loved this series.
I listened to the series while traveling and working out. It was my first experience with basically listening to a show vs watching it and I enjoyed it immensely. It hooked me in the first episode and kept my attention. I already have recommended it to multiple friends! Hoping there is a Season 2 so we can learn more about what happens to Sid next.

    The last sentences
"being in love really is the only accepted from of insanity" Or "being in love really is the only excepted from of insanity" Which one is right? Really nice story. Thank you.
  • Hi im a idoit
    good listen
definitely glad i stayed tuned. has tons of potential for season two. keep up the good work. though it is weird for male listeners at some moments. but the draw of the plot kept me in.

Yet Another Unfinished Story by QCode
Stopped renewing my qcode paid subscription after realizing they almost never finish their best stories. Why do they do this? Maybe conclude the stories already started before starting new ones. I liked this a lot other than it ends the season on a cliffhanger and QCode rarely makes a season 2 for the ones I like.

    Sexy, hot, feminist, forward.
    Listen while traveling.

    Gripping and thrilling.
Loved how immersive this was. Best listened to with headphones on. Dianna Agron’s voice is so sultry and soothing. The combination of mind reading and AI and the world building in this podcast is so interesting. Although I do think her romance with Andie was rushed, I honestly though she’d end up with Kent. I don’t get why Andie would put her in prison and then break her out of prison. But the ending was a great cliffhanger which left me on the edge of my seat, wanting more! Cannot wait for season 2! 😍

Queer romance is alive and well
Wow, loved this show. Really hope there is a 2nd season.
  • All the nicknames seem taken
Love story was unnecessary and hampered the whole thing
The most interesting part of this story is the mind reading and the society rules they have set up around that and yet it’s pushed way to the side for a very forced love story that doesn’t make a lot of sense. Two characters fall in love based on basically nothing and a lot of the story is spent on that. The AI plot feels very done before in other sci fi. It’s an interesting enough listen and the main characters are doing a good job with the voice acting. It had a lot of potential and from reading the reviews it sounds like this may be it? Which if so, is why I pulled another star from the review. If it had another season I would say it’s got good potential and some good ideas and the sound design is well done. If this is actually the ending, it’s closer to a 2, it ends on the most interesting stuff and doesn’t give itself time to get into it.

    Love it
Great story, great sounds. Need another season!

    I wished for better ending
So far I’ve listened two QCODEs shows, this and soft voice, and both had terrible abrupt ending. Like the writers just got really tired in the end and wrapped it up so quick and not interesting at all, it was good overall, but 3 stars for the terrible ending.
  • vamptasy
    I’m a QCODE fan / listener, still….
This story had so much potential, yet it was tragically wasted. The love story is painfully forced. The narrative keeps on TELLING the listener how beautiful of a love story it is, but it is never actually seen. This ruined this show for me, especially because they decided to make this "love story" the center and reason of it, when it could have been so many other things. If they had taken another route, this could have been one of the best shows.

    Great listen!
    Hoping for season two!

    Wish there was more
Can you bring it back? This was a great listen! There should be another season. Loved it and looking for more like it.

Great script but the ending is …
Loved the storyline and production was phenomenal. Ending was mediocre leaving lots of questions unanswered. Thinking there will be a 2nd season.
  • yeheekah
    dude.
i didn’t know Podcasts had fictional options. i loved this story! the genre and concept were really fun and kept me entertained the whole time. the voice actors were spot on. this made me want to check out more! please make a season 2! the cliffhanger is too much 🙃 thanks for the story ☺️

    I was all in
And then it just ended with no wrap up. This happened to me with a different series. I guess I’m done with podcast series.

Loved this show! I thought the ending was perfect - and this podcast showcased such a cool and nuanced set of emotions. Highly recommend.

    Want more
Best series I’ve ever heard. The acting is unbelievable. The sound effects are marvelous. BUT I will say this.. the ending 😩 geez. I wish there was more to it. I didn’t like how it felt like it was just left unfinished. But overall my favorite 💕
  • hrose480
    Fun and sexy!
This show is fun and sexy and mysterious and thrilling!

    Thank you!
Film noir, sci-fi and sultry. Will this eventually become a movie or tv series? Or a series of novels? Such an interesting premise and memorable characters. Really solid world-building. Hats off to the whole team who made this.

    whoa!
I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! I couldn’t stop listening. So well written.

    EPIC ENDING
I am so confused by people’s desire for the ending to be different. The ending was one of my favorite parts about the show. Twisted, honest, messy, and philosophical. I personally don’t enjoy Hollywood’s infantilizing obsession with happy endings so this ticked all the right boxes. I also loved the actors, and enjoyed the hints Angel took at our technological dependancies. I’ve never listened to anything like it and I am hooked! I hope there’s another season!

    I need more!!!!
Another great show. Please keep it up

    Really entertaining
Qcode has some great audio drama. Production is top notch stories are usually engaging. The only real problem is you get hooked on a show and they leave you hanging for a season two. Add Narcissa to that list. Interesting story, great acting, sexy. Good stuff. The only question…will Qcode leave us hanging or give us a season 2. I hope so.

QCode Endings leave something to be desired
This is the second QCode postcast I’ve listed all the way through & I really liked both, until the end. What the heck?! Both times I kept thinking there were episodes coming but NOPE. So strange. What a weird place to end a story. Who ends at the climax? Disappointing.

    I want more!!
The mystery, the sci fi, the betrayal…8 eps wasn’t enough. Such an intriguing series that kept me throughly entertained. 5 stars all around.
  • ChispasV
    Great until the end.
This has potential to be a great TV series are movie. The ending just left me a little disappointed.
  • EyeRarelyReview
    Great Season 1
As always, QCODE with the masterful production, intriguing plot, and wonderful voice actors. Of course, there will be no more episodes, just like pretty much every other show on this channel.
  • mergie_k
    Loved it!
Addictive, sensual, and sci-fi. What more could you ask for?

They should’ve included a trigger warning for SA
They included “warning: adult content”, but that does not cover the warning they should’ve given for SA. Before I got up to episode 6, I was excited to be listening to an interesting story with queer women. But in episode 6, there’s a disturbing and upsetting scene that I really wish I hadn’t heard. I will not be listening to any more episodes. If you’re sensitive to scenes that include SA or anything related to SA, please don’t listen to this.

    Amazing
Great story I was engaged completely

    Convoluted - missed Opportunities
I've just finished Narcissa and if I try and sum it up I’d say it's an immersive 'femme erotica' that unfortunately didn't know what direction it was going in. Convoluted to say the least. Sid and Andi's instant ‘ride or die’ love felt inauthentic and forced. Their side stories had more potential. Especially Andi's which feels like a fairly big missed opportunity.
  • Cbeaudzik
    Really?
I absolutely LOVED the show, but when I got to the last episode I’m forced to subscribe to Q code to listen to it. Pretty sneaky and very disappointing.
  • Caesar's ma
    Incredible show
Super entertaining and real! Diana has such a sultry voice, you really feel how she feels. Bravo qcode - another winner!
  • Jesusfreakgirl12
    I just can’t
Super high production value but unfortunately none of the money went to character development. Not only is Sid one of the dumbest characters I’ve had the misfortune of hearing a story about, but there was ZERO development of a relationship between her and Andi. After meeting once they are suddenly fully in love?? I guess the writers thought no one would notice if they put a few extremly graphic sex scenes in. VERY nsfw. Both of the main female characters speak like they’re auditioning for porn. Can’t bring myself to keep listening. And, as many other reviews also point out, there is highly racist language in the first episode. I usually love everything Qcode does so this was a huge disappointment.

    Season 2
So good! I'm hooked!! Where is season 2???????
  • mattsmith0622
    Gets old really fast
The show goes nowhere, really, really slowly.

    Intriguing!
One of the best fiction podcasts I’ve listened to. Very intriguing story.

  • mbarrowhite

    Y’all are killin it!
Always love Qcodes stuff This one is particularly good Thanks for all your hard work
  • matt41691
It’s something to pass the time…. I guess
Started off pretty solid with the first episode and after that it was kinda bland. Of course the main protagonists is a lesbian and of course the killer is also a lesbian (spoilers). Now we gotta throw that in there like everything else. It’s also so much fun to hear sex moaning and mouth smacking. Just unnecessary really. I only got up to episode 5 because I refuse to get another freaking subscription. If you had to listen to something to pass time than this could be it, but do yourselves a favor. Make sure you have headphones in. Or you can just listen to Edge of Sleep which is amazing.
  • rdxpat
    Disturbing Episode 3
I realize many people enjoy horror movies and twisted tales, and while this podcast is well-performed and well-written...it is profoundly disturbing with its thematic elements and realistic sounds in episode 3. I would have given this 5 stars up until that episode. I can't listen any further. And like many stories ( real life, movies or other media platforms) it worries me that some slightly off-balance individual will be intrigued with the theme and be motivated to get a sick thrill on their own.
  • Blehhhfdsss
Racist language in the first minutes
Nobody googled that? Mongoloid is not an ok term to use. I’m amazed more people haven’t brought this up.
