I didn’t realize this is a religious podcast. I tuned in to listen to someone discuss inshore fishing, not religious silliness. if I wanted to hear church talk…I would go to church. There are much better podcasts that have a much less monotone host and don’t have a verse from a fiction book at the end.

I met Matt at the Matagorda Island trip with the Salty Yak Podcast. He is a great fisherman and crazy about everything redfish. I paddled 9 miles to the island and next year i peddled. Matt decided to get a boat 😂. I really do enjoy listening to podcast and his views of what the redfish are up to, when and where to catch this dumb fish. Even Chris know Trout are better than dumb Reds. See ya at the island. Orlando

Found this podcast via the The Salty Yak podcast, and I am glad I did. I am a newbie at saltwater fishing. I like to listen to podcasts with rally experienced anglers like TSY and Bite Me, but there is a lot to learn from anyone who spends time on the water. The bonus is it is also very entertaining!

Excellent podcast for shallow water and marshy area redfish. I have a lot to learn and new to the area but Matt has been super helpful in breaking down all the aspects of finding and catching redfish. Great job of slowly and methodically discussing each aspect. Much appreciated!
