qbee99solidI enjoy this show so much! Listening to Ben and Brian go back and forth is such a joy. My only complaint/suggestion is… don’t make fun of and laugh at image bearers who don’t love Jesus. Atheists and others are not just dumb. They need the Lord’s grace as much as we do. :) thanks y’all. it’s been fun to listen along.

nomadichomemakerS4 Ruined by ~professionals~I would rate the previous seasons of Haunted cosmos 10/10. They were great, I could listen during the day with my kids without feeling like it would scare them or even myself and I’ve listened to every episode since the podcast was created. I was even a Patron until season 4. The intro was too eerie even by secular standards. Nbd, I can turn it down so I don’t spook the kids. But within the first 20 minutes, the gory squelches and extra violent sound effects were over the top. HC sound effects used to enhance the story, now they overpower the content which I believe is most likely still high quality but I’ll never know because of the bodily harm sound bits. I’ll still probably buy the book bc I really do enjoy the topics and old episodes but the new season really stonewalls any sahm or anyone who conscientiously avoids excessive gore and violence. I hope the grotesque sounds are addressed bc I’d really like to support this show again.

CvcollinsDelightful & fun!Give it a listen, you won’t regret it! Safe for the family, delivered from a solid Christian perspective, and even the ads are fun to listen to. Support the show!

Jane Austen JrI LOVE THIS SHOW!!It has opened my eyes to the things beyond a first look at the world. I am thankful that these are Godly men talking about the high strangeness with prohibitions to not go looking for Them (for they will find you). And also, to the people who have questions about the Nephilim returning after the flood, Ham, son of Noah, his wife was the mother of the new giants. It says in the Bible his line was cursed. Why shouldn’t the rest of the cursed hybrids come from them?

Jareem 61DAWGTempted to leave a one star to show my support but couldn’t bring myself to do it. Pastor Brian, your aunt goes to my church and I’m trying to convince her the government is evil but she said she only listened to the first half of the first MK Ultra episode. What are you doing!?
-
JaredlovesroofingFive star review cause I love the podBut you said Brandon Sanderson is overrated and I don’t know if I can continue listening after that 😩
-
#Tolkienmaxing#Tolkien KingI love the show and the Tolkien/Lewis references. And I wanted to suggest another topic for faeries, Enter Peter Pan and Neverland were tinkerbell is actually evil and captain Hook is the dark and cranky good guy (kind of like Batman)

Shamwow7The podcast I’ve been waiting for my whole lifeI was raised in a devoutly Christian household and have often been hyper aware of the unseen realm. (Ephesians 6:12 is my jam.) My devout Christian mother and I have had discussions over the years about unexplained events and experiences we have both been present for… with no one really to discuss it with. My pastor actually told me about this podcast recently and I was SO EXCITED to finally find a tribe of people who talk about the things that most churches won’t. Keep up the good work, yall are amazing!

Hannah MerryBen, you ignorant normie!Came for the theology stayed for the ads! Haunted Cosmos is the show that helps you explore the unknown while remaining fully tied to reality. I can’t get enough and the banter just makes it all the better. Thank you for this thoughtful and entertaining listen.

My_dogs_name_is_LunaRequestThis isn’t a review, but I really like what you guys are doing. I’m an aspiring writer and these topics are great for inspiration. It’s so great that logic and theology can support these myths and legends or completely put down bad theories. So here’s my request: The Chupacabras. I’m puertorriqueña and mexicana but I’m raised in white suburbia. So I’m basically just white, but that’s besides the fact. I would really like to hear the myth and legend stories so I can write about it. Or even just put some facts out there that prove them false. Just keep doing what you guys are doing because it’s great. -Luna

Silly nick nameWe’re so backThey’re so back but they’ve always been so back.

RicetopiaHilariously perfect!!The way these two explain the topics of the supernatural from the Christian point of view is perfect. One of the best parts of the podcast actually is, in my opinion, the funny chatter back and forth! They are such great friends and can made some good jokes. Keep up the good work! The only other thing is the ads. Can you make them shorter and in more convenient spots? Great job over all, though!

Whiz niddleGreat!I’d say this ties as one of my top two podcasts of all time. Very intriguing and informative. I’m a big fan!

RockerRTRNever Trust A NephilimI need this T-Shirt. I need it Badly. This show is so much fun to listen to. The worldview lens which Ben and Brian approach these stories and topics is really what makes the show work. It’s not just wild legends & myth. It’s the idea that there is a foundational truth behind all of it and what it means to this present world. Brilliant Show. But I NEED this T-Shirt.

Outrageous Mom GurlFrom navel gazing to Big Picture posture.Snags me in my weaknesses and slingshots me into a fresh perspective- often with straight-up humor. “The world is more than stuff, and it is an embattled world.” Did I quote that right?

JtbezoldGreatHeard about you guys from another podcast I figured I’d give it a try love, love, love it. Hooked after just one episode highly recommend

MT b&rWell producedLove the stories. Yes, the 12 yr old girl banter. Yes, the almost flirting with each other. (Eye roll). But the dudes do some research for every topic, the stories are well written and well told. And I’m sorry to tell y’all this, if ur complaining about “everything is a demon”…. It is! There are spiritual forces in this world. If it is not of God, it is separated from God. Fact. U don’t want to accept that, go back to thinking demons aren’t real. We’ll be praying for you. Just one suggestion: Dogman. Not werewolves, dogman. Hope it’s on ur list. Keep it up fellas

Brawl star482great showthey really be telling you to leave a one star review, they’re christian, and great stories and topics
-
ryanbeardedI Seriously Can’t…Everything is a demon. These dudes have searched the bowels of Reddit for every possible mysterious story ever written and are just foaming at the mouth with excitement to explain to you not only how that thing is a demon, but also exactly what this particular demon’s specific plan is for deceiving you. If you consider yourself a Jesus follower, you don’t need these guys explaining to you how to neatly wrap every mysterious thing in the world into their weirdly demon-centric worldview.

Jabrew52I like it!This show is very entertaining and well produced. I really enjoy listening.

ZackandTaraAlready have told ten people to listenI’ve always been a bit of a spooky thing lover but wasn’t always sure how to reconcile my theology with it all. I’m loving how this show causes me to think critically about what might be possible out there and also I’m learning so much about engineering and astrophysics in the process 😂
-
Poppa WillisGreat showReally interesting and a bit spooky. From a Christian point of view. Love it

wethree ceesChanged World viewAfter listening to this podcast, I will never think of historical events the same way. I’m learning a lot and enjoying the ride.

-
MogariStarted out great…I loved this show at the beginning, but I just can’t take it anymore. They take forever to say anything. They use way too many adjectives. It just seems pretentious. Please go back to the basics!

CharisGrad19All Day ListenerI can literally listen to this all day. (Not really as I have a wife and two kids) This podcast is awesome. I heard about y’all from Steve Deace interview and can’t get enough. I’ve listened to over 35 episodes already. The world is a lot more interesting than we ever imagined. Thank you guys.

Detailing by BrentMy favorite podcastThis is a unique and well put together podcast. I love it! Ben! You ignorant normie! I think I know you well enough to say” stop using soap!” That. Is. All. 😎

The Actual Skinny PeteUtter drivelTakes what is supposed to be fun and light hearted and turns it into a preachy, long-winded, albeit softly spoken rant.

GlamCalvinistReformed guy in STL, love show & show requestThis show is so awesome & so helpful. Can you do a show on Michael the Archangel actually being Jesus. Also, if all the Nephilim demigods were drowned in the Flood, then how did giants reappear afterwards…you might have already mentioned it that demons came & created more giants after the Flood. Thx!

hubie64Not working.I have been attempting to listen to any of your podcasts and all are saying unavailable
-
DMD 76Listening problemsHeard you guys on the Steve Deace show. Would love to listen to your podcast but for some reason it’s says older podcast are unavailable. Really would enjoy to start from the beginning.
-
Trav2626UnavailableWhy are all your episodes unavailable? I can’t listen past Mothman.
-
HiloCsDefinitely a compelling listen! This podcast is extremely well done professional sounding and interesting. It covers the supernatural from a Christian worldview. If it were a book, I would say it is hard to put down. Since it’s a podcast, I would say it’s hard to turn off.
-
MagicnateYeah, but…Came here from the Steve Deace interview. Listened to the Giants episode first. Production quality is top notch as he stated. But what the heck? The unargued assumption throughout the episode about the Nephilim being the offspring of fallen spiritual beings (what DNA do those have to contribute??) was a serious oversight. God in the Genesis account limits procreation to “after their kind” and any deviation is uniquely and miraculously His.

Keefie lymooreLOVE itI love this podcast I don’t care what these other reviewers are saying about them being mean and hurtful to women. They are just being sensitive and you really don’t have to find yourself as a women you can just find yourself in Jesus. This is coming from me a young women. And you should go have some babies kids are great!!!! This is a great mix of cryptic spooky and funny Christian all put together to make a beautiful cake for listening to. Btw I like y’all’s spooky sound effects. Unlike other reviewers. I don’t rlly listen to any other podcast either. This has really opened my mind to how our material world really does deceive us. I love this podcast and keep doing what you guys are doing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DanielleMarie0824Love the Topics, but….I really love the topics talked about and looking at the supernatural, fantastical, etc; through a biblical view. That being said, the jabs at women (having a wife and daughters doesn’t make you immune to saying sexist things), BLM, critical race theory, and homosexuality leave a horrible taste in my mouth. I’m not sure what they have to do with the point of the podcast, for one thing. Look, I’m not a liberal, but one thing I am, is cautious with my words, my viewpoints, and how I say them because you never know who is listening. The last thing we should want to do as believers is harm others with our words and how we say them. Regardless of our political viewpoints and how biblical we believe them to be, if we can’t say them with love then we shouldn’t speak on them at all. 1 Cor 13. The way I’ve heard you speak about certain groups on the show is hurtful. As a biracial woman, some of the things you’ve said have been wounding. I’ve even heard an off-hand comment about how you didn’t want to be “an autistic about it” or something like that. Come on, guys. Really?? It makes me wonder if there’s certain demographics that you even want in your audience. I’m not trying to be harsh, but it shows a lack of humility, maturity and Christ like love. I say this with concern and kindness. Please don’t allow arrogance, harsh words, and pride to tarnish your ministry. I really believe you guys have good intentions and have a lot of biblical knowledge, I really do. But the way in which you state your political viewpoints (when they have little to nothing to do with the podcast- regardless of whether or not I agree with it), and speaking on things flippantly with a tone of condemnation and hate that lacks empathy, makes me want to stop listening. Having a ministry puts you under a microscope, whether you like it or not and you’re an example to people who are listening. Unbelievers are going to hear the gospel and they will hear it correctly or incorrectly. They will either leave convicted or condemned. Loved or hated. Victorious or defeated. Freed or enslaved. Life and death is in the tongue.

Jman360u2Sound effects/musicI think it's an important discussion, helping Christians be more aware of the spiritual realm, especially in evangelical circles. However, the music and sound effects only serve to make the whole thing less serious and sensationalist. Why try to illicit fear when we do not need to fear this stuff.
-
Bigfoot FaerieAbsolutely love this show! This is my family’s favorite podcast. We listen together on long roadtrips and I listen by myself all the time. I love hearing about the supernatural, high strangeness and cryptids from a Christian perspective. I recommend this podcast to just about everyone I talk to. I generally don’t like a lot of podcasts with banter but Ben and Brian are the best and I enjoy every second of every episode. Absolutely peak storytelling.

IcmekcoflsnxofdkncfkflfLate to the showI had gone down a rabbit hole about ancient Egypt/ancient man, had a friend send me the episode on Atlantis, and got hooked. I had never heard of this Brian Sauve guy or Ben Garrett(all due respect to you both), so I thought I had discovered something rather niche and shared it with my brothers. Turns out both my brothers had already listened to all the episodes and never told me about it. I felt slightly left out but also somewhat validated for my apparent unhingability. Love the show and especially how respectfully you guys handle Scripture. Please keep them coming!
-
selahdambraNo going back after this one.I love hearing more about mythologies, lore, ghost stories, and simply the *unexplainable*. Hearing these topics discussed with such passion from a Christian perspective?? Could not ask for a better podcast. Easily my favorite podcast, hands down. I want 12 more just like it.

podtasticWhat “malfnctn” said.I can’t state my concerns better than the reviewer “malfnctn” did. The way these guys talk about women/homosexuals/anyone who isn’t a conservative-white-male-Christian is the kind of toxic marginalization that pushes people away from Christianity. Example: at one point they said something like, if any of you women out there are getting bamboozled by the idea of “finding yourselves,” shut up and go have some babies. Then they talk about how they’re not sexist because they have wives and daughters. Messed up. I am pretty disappointed, because at first I really enjoyed this podcast. I was even briefly a patron. Ben’s storytelling is top notch, and the topics are really interesting to consider from a Christian/non-reductionist perspective. I just can’t ignore the disturbing comments anymore. I’m no longer sure why they’re doing this podcast. They can’t call this a ministry if they’re doing more harm than good. But how silly of me to go around thinking thoughts. I better get my mind right. Excuse me while I go have some babies.

A. N. YorkSplendid!!It’s really enjoyable to listen to, though the sound effects are very realistic... But! If it weren’t for them, I probably wouldn’t listen to it! Still trying to convince my friend the Black Eyed Kids are real. Thank you, Mr.’s Ben and Brian!
