jrilatosBummed outLoved this podcast and now every episode is available with paid subscription, that’s a bummer ..

ReviewnamekrInformative, but some issuesBut I do wish that the podcast descriptions would make it more clear when there are repeat episodes. I love the podcast, but sometimes “new” episodes get released and it was a recording from a podcast a long time ago. I know I’m not the only listener that values up to date and new information. I also hope the sound issues get resolved and there is someone directing the conversation to stay on topic. Please also know that there are people with varying political views that are all on the same journey together on GLP-1 medication.

fitand45Great podcast!!I really enjoy listening to this podcast. I recently started Zepbound and love hearing all the educational things and hearing stories of others in the GLP-1 community!

Cheryl0307Educational as well as ComfortingI have been listening to the podcast for over a year and the knowledge that I have gained from the podcast as well as the comfort that I get knowing that I’m not alone has been immeasurable!

Roman7969Relevant and RawWhat do you get when you combine three different ladies, discussing their GLP-1 experiences, and recognized medical experts in this field? The Plus Sidez podcast! Love how passionate these women are about getting relevant information and informing the public of the benefits of GLP-1 medicine. This is the podcast you need when you start your journey…listen and find out why!

MsNellaWaferContent good, episodes too long and annoyingI like all the content about GLP-1s but I wish the hosts were more aware of the sound issues that make it exhausting for the listeners. If a host has a poor connection because they are phoning in from another country, leave them off the episode, you’ve got too many host and guest voices already. I couldn’t stand to listen to the Rosie O’Donnell episode because of the many irritating sounds from the host in France and the tinny quality of Rosie’s own voice. What a waste of an opportunity for a possibly great episode with such a well-known guest. Try not to laugh so much and so long at your own and each other’s jokes. Stop whispering all the little side remarks into the mic; they are annoying, not funny.

CrazyboutgolfRosieLove this. Informative. Go Rosie. Go kim.

So annoyed and frustrated!Glp-1 information and moreLove this podcast so informative on everything you need to know about glp-1s, health, insulin resistance, diabetes, disease of obesity, health, getting healthy, metabolic conditions, pcos, etc .They bring on amazing guests from inside the community and doctors who are informed on the medicine and how to treat people using glp-1s. They debunk all the misinformation that is spread about the medications. Couldn’t be more informative. Plus they have fun while they are doing it.

DeesBackAfraid to try a GLP1? This is the Podcast for you! When trying to decide if a GLP1 medication was for me, first I had to understand what this class of medications were. I only knew the names Ozempic and Mounjaro. In my deep dive I found the Plus Sidez. I am grateful everyday that I did. I was able to binge this podcast like a series. With each episode educating me more. I quickly learned the difference between Ozempic, Mounjaro, Wegovy and Zepbound. I learned about how obesity is a chronic disease; the difference between insulin resistance and type2 diabetes. I learned from the hosts who shared their personal experience on these medications as well as doctors who treat metobolic disorders. Iin listening I heard doctors who treat cardiac patients w these meds which was my main interest. However, in listening more I heard from insurance experts about how difficult it is to get access but not impossible. The knowledge gained from the Plus Sidez has proved invaluable in my wellness journey. In short this is the most down to earth easy to digest pod cast on this subject out there. There is an episode on almost any question you might have on these med and your health and wellness on them. Kim, Kat, JT and Sabrina are warm compassionate totally relatable hosts, who make you feel welcomed. I don’t know if I would have gotten the treatment I needed were it not for them and their podcast.

jcol75We're not aloneBefore I found this podcast, I felt like I was the only one going through this GLP1 journey. I was getting very frustrated and ready to give up. Then I found these happy and informative folks. They just get it! They're helpful. They know what they're talking about. They make me laugh , and they center me when I'm ready to fly off the rails. I'm forever grateful for this podcast. It has saved my life.

Ddblunt01I Really Want to Like This ShowAnd I appreciate the gave that you all are volunteers and your topic is so important for such a time as this in obesity medicine. But I think you have something here with the main hosts and personalities but you need a rundown and a moderator to act as a floor director to keep you on topic and on track. And a good sound engineer. But I do believe in the show and I truly hope that God sends the right people your way.

Keepn-it-realNopeWhy does the host sound so smug and superior? Like she’s talking to children or people who aren’t as “smart” as she is
-
BellaBrenVery informative and supportiveI love listening to these amazing women and their stories and insight. Since starting my journey and trying to find resources to help me better understand this really is a marathon and not a sprint, the difference in the care that I’ve extended to myself is drastic because of their influence. The community stories, the discussions with doctors, and the weekly laughter has become something I look forward to tuning into. Thank you Kim, Jernine, Kat, Lydia and the host of women and guest for being such a light on my individual journey and the positivity you all spread throughout the health and wellness community.
-
KlynrnLike the doctorsI love the doctor interviews. The host talk over each other and sometimes overtop the guest. When that happens in blows my EarPod out. That being said the it is interesting.

Jessie Rae 91Please cut down the introsLove this podcast but please for the love of god edit out the 20 minutes intros of babbling. By the time I get to work (I listen in my car) I haven’t even gotten to the topic and end up abandoning the episode

Susan512Listen, especially if you experienced fat bias!Everyone who ever experienced negative fat bias should listen to this podcast! Obesity is a treatable disease. The Plus Sidez Podcast is hosted by people who know how you feel, so they are passionate about sharing real people experiences, new science, and expert opinions from medical and industry professionals. These guests and topics help to navigate through the societal sludge of fat bias, culturally acceptable fat phobia and historically dismissive doctors. Interesting guests and topics (and hosts) every week! Download these episodes so you can listen anywhere!

ajacks101Best podcast to support an underserved communityLove that Kim, Kat and Jernine created a loving, supportive, informative and viable community for those of us in the GLP1 community. So many issues surrounding these meds and preconceived notions. I have learned SO much and felt so much support. Please listen, be kind, and most importantly let’s learn from each other how to love ourselves more everyday. Thanks ladies!

uconnhuskyforeverInformative and Fun!I’ve been on a GLP1 med for over a year. I’m pretty well informed and read a lot about the medications, obesity as a disease, trends, Big Pharma, and the future of obesity - and yet, every episode I learn something new. I often take notes! I’m not on Tik Tok so I’ve not heard of most of the professionals they bring on, but I’ve since enjoyed following many on IG. I don’t have any other friends on a GLP1 med and these gals make it feel like I’m sitting and chatting with friends! I highly recommend this podcast. I’ve listened to the whole back catalog of eps in two weeks and frankly, may restart! I was legitimately bummed when I listened to my last one today. I love how in-depth they go and they still stay on topic. I was listening so much that multiple people asked me if I was okay because I wasn’t calling them while driving like I usually do - I’m too busy with the pod! For scrappy podcast amateurs, the production quality is fabulous. LET’S GET LOUD!
-
