    Terrible

    Get Smarter
I feel smarter and more informed after listening to Jen Rubin and her interviews each week. I appreciate naming consequences and possible outcomes of the next 4 years without being alarmist.

    Some people shouldn’t have a podcast…
Jen Rubin proves in every episode just how out of touch she is with the issues that really matter to the vast MAJORITY of Americans. Let this be a warning: the ability to utter sentences does not correlate to the privilege of starting a podcast. Please, for the sake of all things holy and righteous, descend in obscurity. You are not needed.

    What?!!
Trash. Nonsense. She is the reason I wish there was a qualifying system to be able to have a podcast. “Republicans want to kill your children” based on some people not wanting the Covid vax?? You’re gross and irresponsible and fully irrelevant.

Not everyone should have a podcast. Here’s an example

    You are an idiot
You push more misinformation than anyone. Shame on you.
  • FlaglerResident
    This lady is literally insane.
This poorly aging white lady is obviously mentally unstable and goes on incoherent rants about people who disagree with her. She is a biased hack who perpetuates her opinion as though she is the only absolute truth teller in media. The hubris and lack of self awareness is truly unsettling. Stay far away from this podcast if you care about keeping your functioning brain cells.

    Love your Show
I eagerly await your podcast each week. I love that you are both truth-telling and uplifting. I have to let my Post subscription go, so I’m grateful I will still be able to connect with you. One thing, I can never find the show notes. I listen on Apple Podcasts. How do I find them?

I remember as a young adult when I had energy I wanted to live in a democracy with capitalism and when I was exhausted I wanted to live in a benevolent monarchy where I knew my place and was told what to do I’m old and tired now but I’ll take a democracy

    Evermore grateful for Jennifer’s insights!🙏🏼
I first got to know Jen on MSNBC during the dark years… then through her columns in the WaPo, as a guest on Mary Trump’s podcast and now her own podcast. She is down to earth and sane, giving hope and reality with flare. Her interview today with John Gartner of duty to Warren was fabulous! I’ve been following him for years and wondering why no one in MSM will listen to him or have him on her shows. I hope she writes a column about this too. So important -are we really going to elect someone with frontal temporal dementia ?😱 Her interview with Simon Rosenberg was a good shot of optimism too, or Hopium, that I really needed —come on Dems!💪🏼✊🏽 I love the jazz too- it relaxes me and gets the chill vibe going. Thank you, Jennifer!
  • ndrowe88
    So very enlightening!
Thank you for interviewing John Gartner for us and giving us some real data about Trumps mental capacity. I admire John and the 500 professionals who are trying to make a different in what Americans understand about Trumps lack of capacity. Keep on bringing us such great interviews! Thank you, Nancy

    Great interview with Barb McQuade
But Jen’s remark about Comet Pizza (Pizzagate) was wrong. No one was killed, though the man who showed up with a gun did fire shots. He’s since been sentenced to prison. You should issue a correction in the show notes or edit that from the podcast.
  • MEMO-5
Great Podcast from Jen, as always
Barbara McQuade’s new book is the bomb! Must-read for all those concerned about our country’s democracy in this critical election year. Thanks Jen!

    Fascinating, Insightful
Just listened to Jen Rubin’s interview with Heather Cox Richardson - what an amazing discussion with two seriously smart women!! They have terrific insight about how we got here, what’s going on, and how we might get ourselves out of this mess! History can show us a path here and their perspectives on that idea are very interesting - and motivating! Bravo ladies - well done and thank you! 👍🏻

    Intelligent conversation
I’m amazed at how quickly I have become addicted to this podcast. I wait each week to see who Jennifer has on and it’s always someone interesting. This week was no exception, Ms Richardson was fascinating and Jennifer you ask the best questions. Kudos to the booker and congratulations to Jennifer on a fantastic podcast.

Listening to episode with Ian Bassin
Apparently he's never talked to a Trump supporter, or anyone who supports the current MAGA party. You can't empathize with someone who believes all the lies! You ask what needs to happen to stop this slide towards authoritarianism, in my opinion the entire blame in on the Main Stream Media (of course, not you)! All the free media attention Trump received, with NO ONE calling out his lies, is the main reason Trump was elected in 2016. Unfortunately, that's continuing today! They let him ramble, and lie, while they now can't stop talking about Biden's age and shouldn't be be replaced! I am a longtime volunteer for the Democratic party and I am furious, frustrated and frightened for the future of America! It's too bad that the very people, and businesses, who are supposed to trusted to report the truth to Americans, are demonstrating that they care more about profits and clicks, than they do about democracy!

Brilliant interview with Stuart Stevens. Jen alway gets it right.

U.S. v Trump with Norm Eisen
Always good to listen to Norm Eisen. His book The Last Palace was so interesting I sent my copy to my sister. A year later I bought myself another copy so I could read it again. An excellent read about European history.

    Love this podcast!
I can’t say enough about Jen! So knowledgeable and a great interviewer with great takes on today’s political hellscape. All of her guests are top-notch in their own right!
  • elly b444
Keep reminding folks that Trump and Biden are contemporaries…
This cannot be stated enough and thanks for saying it when no one in the media ever makes this point. Yes, he’s all the other awful stuff too, but this is continually lost on most of the populace. Thank you! You’re refreshing!
  • Cat5/6/99
    Great Podcast!
I found out about Jen from her Opinion Columns in Washington Post, and I loved hearing what she had to say. I love that she’s doing a podcast! Keep up the great work, thanks Jen!
  • California Democrat
She ignores legitimate concerns of Progressives
Loved her on the Mary Trump show but in her interview with Raskin she brushes off legitimate kitchen table concerns about the economy and Biden’s electability. Stop scolding us for being worried. If Trump is elected our democracy is at stake.
  • MikeGillespie55
First rate. Just like her writing.
Excellent Show. Phenomenal guests. And she asks intelligent, insightful questions.
  • hilnel
    Simon Rosenberg is great
Thanks so much for the interview with Simon Rosenberg! It is essential for this country’s future that Americans come together to vote out MAGA. His reasoning for how to get 55% of voters to go Dem in 2024 is really worth hearing about. Anyone feeling gloomy about burgeoning fascism in America should give a listen. I guarantee you will come away energized, with concrete ideas about what to do in the coming months to help save our democracy.
  • jerry900
Let’s tell the truth about the wealth class
Good podcast in general, but Jen Rubin won’t talk about the elephant in the room. The wealthiest people in America, especially media owners, are propagating the fascist takeover of our democracy.
  • Dianshelle
    Quickly becoming my go-to podcast
I get excited when I see Green Room in my podcast queue. Ms. Rubin’s intelligence and optimism give worldwide problems a sense that solutions can be found and implemented, if only we talk thoughtfully and let our better nature win the day.

Sharing intelligence and actions to preserve democracy
Maya is someone I have admired for years. Her wisdom is always delivered in a very gentle, convincing manner. In this interview, the tone of voice used by both of these women is really effective. This is an interview reflecting how intelligent women communicate.
