    Great creepy music
I am a one time membership subscriber, and I’ve enjoyed the stories. Lex does a great job. I only wish there were more episodes produced. There’s too much time in between. I look forward to each one.

    From day 1 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hey Lex! I’ve been listening since day 1! I have a lot of the early episodes on an old toshiba laptop that i have to take to best-buy(they plug it in and it’s like an old friend) to grab things off the hard drive with a flash drive! Still here now with my iPhone patiently waiting for the near monthly podcasts! Love the original music and how at Halloween 🎃 we get special extra podcasts! I’ve followed you on twitter since 2009 too! Just wanted you to know that I’m a forever fan, and thank you for always finding the time to do the show!

    My original favorite spooky podcast!
I love this show, been a listener since 2014. I’ve submitted 2 stories and gotten them both featured on different episodes - such a thrill to hear them come alive on the podcast! Please send more stories into Lex so we can keep this gem alive. I’ve noticed the dwindling stories and frequency of the episodes lately. Perhaps building an online community on social media would help? I’m sure many of the listeners would join and it would help to get the word out. Making the older episodes available on an app would also help (vs on a website) - bringing this show into more modern modes of communication and access would help to make sure it doesn’t get lost in the past. Still one of my favorites and I’m always happy to see a new episode pop up! Keep it up, Lex! Thanks for all the stories!!

The OG of Ghost Story podcasts
I heard about this show from a friend eight years ago and have been a huge fan ever since. I love the quiet manner in which either Alex or listeners themselves narrate their own experiences. No major sound effects or background music to distract or ruin the spooky mood. Stories are mostly from the U.S., but more and more are international and just as fascinating. I always look forward to the next episode. Let’s keep the show going! Please consider writing Alex and sharing your own story, and thank you Alex for this wonderful podcast.

    Nice show!
I’ve been listening to Anything Ghost almost since the beginning. I’m always looking for a nice spooky/ weird theme show. This is an old favorite that I come back to. It’s nice that most of the stories are peoples own experiences, some of which are recorded by the contributors themselves. These kinds of stories can be so much more interesting than fiction. The sound quality is nice and I like Lex’s nice even speaking. You can submit your own story/ experience and this podcast always benefits from more contributions! UPDATE: Just came to give my original spooky podcast some love. I don’t know why the episodes are less frequent these days, but this is the kind of podcast that depends on participation. Lex needs our spooky stories!

    Enjoy the show, but…
If it were made available on podcast apps I’d pay for it. It’s not very convenient to have to open a website to listen to podcasts while I’m out working during the day. The logistics of listening to podcasts on a website vs something like Apple Podcasts is not as streamlined or user-friendly.

    Best podcast
I have been listening to your podcast since the beginning and still enjoy listening to it every day. I love it when you read the share scary stories that the listeners have sent you! You have a beautiful and soothing voice. Keep up the great work! Thank you SO much and take caaaaaare!

    Great stories!!!
I just love your podcast, I think is so cool when you have also self narrated stories. You tell the stories so clear, it will never get old. Thank you for your awesome work over all these years.

    PLEASE MOVE TO PODCAST APP
Can you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put the episodes for your paying listeners on Apple Podcast??? Using a website is antiquated. Having to log in, click multiple pages & dig through to find the episodes we want, honestly, I’m one of the ones who paid and I just NEVER go to the site because it’s such a pain. Why do the people who don’t financially support the show get to use the podcast app but those who pay get penalized? It’s the only reason for my rating. It’s time. It’s time to transfer them over here. UPDATE: Years later, still no podcast for paying members, which means I re-listen to the same few episodes over and over again and suffer through the commercials. Thanks, Lex. Glad I paid.

It’s time to bury the podcast, or change direction.
I’ve been an avid listener since the very beginning. I loved the show, but the once a month(sometimes a month and a half), isn’t cutting it anymore. The actual stories are becoming less and less, with lots more filler than actual stories. What’s sad is I often forget about the show because it’s so inconsistent and not very rememberable or scary when the long awaited stories do arrive. And the music is just God awful! A major format change needs to occur I believe. And I know a host can’t help how their voice sounds but? Anyway, at least have actual interviews with people who’ve had encounters, mixed in with recorded voice messages. Please no more self recorded music. And no more repeat stories that we’ve heard a million times like the kid that saw himself in the future from the past. And reading articles found on and in unreliable sources isn’t the way to go. Again once a month isn’t enough, people will and do forget about the show. I’d suggest at least twice a month with mini episodes the other two weeks, say 5-8 minutes long. Or change the podcast to a seasonal show, late August-December, then take the rest of the months to curate enough content (episodes), maybe have a month like March where there are plenty of Irish spirit stories to tell. Honestly it seems like the host is becoming less and less interested in producing the show, and it’s starting to show, and the audience (listeners) can sense it too. There are too many shows out there to listen to as far as the paranormal topic goes to wait around for a show once a month. Most shows at the bare minimum have an episode per week, some have an episode come out daily. I myself am a podcaster, and I fully know what goes into each and every episode. It’s a lot of time. But I have a full time business ( which isn’t the podcasts) and 3 podcast shows that I produce solo, and I’m able to produce an episode weekly for each show, but I’ve learned to overlap the shows, when one ends, the other begins, so on and so forth. One show is a niche show that runs within weeks of the paranormal/mystery show. And the other show ( which is based on a highly popular Netflix show runs continuously, with a short hiatus that’s announced before the other shows begin. All this to say, some of the reasons you may not be getting enough content to fill your shows anymore is because there’s too long of a break between episodes. Just some constructive criticism. By the way, all of the shows are highly popular with one being the best show with many people covering this particular show, ot ranks #1 in the world.

The best true ghost story podcast
Recommended for fans of the old Robert Stack Unsolved Mysteries, “Haunted”, or “Paranormal Witness”. Classic call-in format, no frills or host fluff, and great creepy stories!
  • gammy64
    Spooky
Love the way Lex jumps right into the spooky stories. Great intro music also.

    Love the show
Love the show, long time listener. But please stop repeating Lee’s truck story every other episode. There’s 10 years of episodes back logged, I’m sure you can find other stories to repeat if you need content

    Anything Ghost!
Anything Ghost, you are the tops! Each episode is interesting, well paced and edited. The music and introductions are perfect. I’m a VIP listener and am grateful to be able to step back into the archives over and over and know new chapters are awaiting. Thank you Alex, Nancy in Omaha❤️

    My ALL TIME favorite podcast!
I’ve heard all episodes atleast 3x 😂😂 I can’t get enough! Great job Lex!
  • Flacidcore2
    Was good
Used to be awesome, but now I’ve heard the same two long stories on repeat for the last year. It’s either Lee or the Haunted apartment. Both long, both take up the episode.
  • kai.sack
Finally, a host who didn’t interrupt their guests
    I love Lex’s voice!

    Lame
There’s like 10 shows to choose from or else you have to pay to here all these “amazing stories”... do you know how many other channels and apps there are with people telling ghost stories for free? There’s 8 billion people in the world. Get over yourself it’s not that special.
  • Dark719
    Best podcast
Hands down my favorite podcast! I look forward to the new episodes every month!!!
  • whtevrlolawnts
    New episode monthly
I actually try to skip so I can listen back to back. My only suggestion would be to those that call in; please call when no one is around, hard to pay attention when screaming kids in the background or if you’re trying to drive and talk . Just a helpful suggestion for those of us who really want to hear your stories.

    This podcast is awesome
This podcast is one of the best and the longest running ghost podcast on the air today what is the things that I like about the most is not only that it has a higher production value but many of the other ghost podcast that I listen to also feature other aspects of the paranormal that I’m not interested in it Lxst true to his original vision and solely focuses on ghost stories submitted by listeners he is the best of the best I highly recommend it if you like ghost stories from around the world this is your podcast
  • erminiver
    Fascinating
Just found this by accident and I’m keeping it. Nice voice to listen to, excellent narration style. Doesn’t sound like he’s reading. Good submissions. They’re believable because they’re not over the top. Try it.

    Great Podcast!
I love listening to this podcast while working on my stories. I’ve been listening to it for about a week now and I am absolutely hooked. The stories always manage to send child down my spine! Im glad I came across this podcast when I did!

    Hi
Your podcast was one of the first ones I listened too, probably way back when iPad nano was popular. Love your podcast, love the music too, so calming. It’s odd but true your voice puts me to sleep every time.. I do enjoy listening to the stories. I personally never had that experience. Hope you continue your podcast. Thank you.
  • yodawgthatstuffcrazyfam
    Not the same
Episodes have progressively gotten shorter. Stories are not the same. Lex thinks he still has the time to include old music of his that we’ve all heard. Also still including ads in a 37 minute episode. I used to love the show, not the same.
  • MarFarChicken
    Almost great
I was so close to subscribing to the VIP group for access to this large back catalogue, but what dominates some of these ghost stories are affected stories from bored stay-at-home moms who keep thinking their exceptional child has “the 6th sense”. There are some really spooky stories from others, but it’s a drag to hear yet another lengthy boring recording. Also the monologues by Rod Matsui and other “Hollywood type” wannabes who submit multiple recordings in their “on the radio” voices have me forwarding 10 minutes out of the episodes. I think the narrator needs to take control of his show again and do the readings.

    Hey Lex!

    So Spooky!
I love this podcast and I’ve been listening for years. Every element of this podcast, from the intro music to Lex’s voice, enhances the creepiness of the stories in a subtle way. This is one of the best podcasts for listener-submitted stories!
  • 10joules
Haunted Truck story was really scary!
Lex, that trucker’s story was so scary, and his voice fits the story too. He should write in with more stories!

    #1 Ghost Podcast
Lex delivers consistently high quality episodes. Love being a VIP member and having access to the archives.

    Meh
I love spooky podcasts but this one sounds like my dad is reading me a bedtime story and I just can’t get into it
  • TeddyBroosevelt
    No More Dream Stories
This may be a hard pill to swallow, but white women telling their dream stories are the pretzels of Chex mix: they’re worthless filler. No one wants to hear about your dreams and how you interpret them. They’re not paranormal. They’re not scary. And they’re not even remotely interesting. In 2022, STOP SENDING LEX YOUR DUMB DREAM STORIES. And tayyyyyyyyykkke carrrrrrrre!
  • Jmmercer
    Where are all the episodes??
Decided to give this pod a try after seeing a review online. It said the pod had been producing content since ‘06. I subscribe on iTunes and there are 10 episodes. Am I missing something? Where’s all the content??

    Love it!
I have been listening for over 10 years and Lex has become a comforting voice. I absolutely love this podcast and all the true stories spoken by Lex or by listeners. The music is so spooky but exciting too. I highly recommend…. This was the first ghost story telling podcast I found and I am still a VIP in the VIP group and loyal listener!

I Like this podcast so much that .......
I bought the intro music and I use it as a notification tone Thanks Lex for a great podcast you’re one of my top 5 podcasts The only issue I have is that I really prefer when you read the stories that people send in as rather than people telling their own stories themselves because some people record and most don’t talk as well as you do.

    Love!
    Love this show!
  • stillnotanonymous
    Spooky and awesome
Lex does a great job reading the stories, and the self-narrated stories are also great. Add the original music and you have a terrific spooky podcast. Thanks Lex!

    Consistently great and spooky
My kid and I love Anything Ghost and appreciate Lex’s work. We think his voice and reading style are great, and we look forward to our monthly installment. We like his work so much that we became members of his club so we could listen to old episodes. Thanks for years of entertainment!
