Mickey641The Drive !I subscribe to a lot of automotive podcasts but Alan Taylor’s “The Drive” is my absolute favorite. Maybe because we are of similar vintage but my taste and opinion on vehicles track well with Alan and his regular guests. And of course he keeps the show light and humorous but delivers on technical details also. Keep up the great work !

Kel-PopMiss you!I hope everything is okay with Alan and his family. It has been a few months since the last episode and I’m concerned. I’m sure being a public figure is difficult, but if there is a chance of just a brief update I, for one, would be happy to hear that things are okay. Beyond that, if you would care to give an update on your podcast that would also be nice. Thanks, and take care brother, Kelly

Stephanie999One of the Best Weekly Car ShowsI’ve been listening to this show for years and not only do I laugh, I get very robust and honest viewpoints of various issues in the car world from industry leaders.

Monkeyboy NicoOverall, very entertainingHe can be a bit too screeching at times but he is entertaining and some good info is offered. I like the regulars, even Josh is tolerable.

E guyWhy all the bad reviews, it’s great!Listen to this at work and while driving. The host and guests are hilarious and cover the most interesting topics. 5 stars.

big steve the truckerLiar liarKeeps telling us that he bought his Shelby mustang from Carroll himself. But us who remembers he had that package put on. And shy the podcasts running a month behind.

EbuxtonGreat showEnjoy the car news. Not the scatalogical parts, but Josh and Dick, BJ and the other guests make up for it.

pereiracyclesUnlistenableAlan Taylor is a total douche. Sexist and ethnocentric. I've tried listening to two episodes and only made it 10 mintues in before I started to cringe.

Girl600_podcastChanged my mind - no more MTUpdate: Deleted all shows from my iPhone and I'm planning to unsubscribe via iTunes. Political jabs turn me off on a car show. I know cars and politics have a connection lately (2008 bailouts) but was gas really $1.09 in 2009 when Obama came in and now it's $5 as you say. If thats true, people have options when it comes to how fuel efficient they need their car to be. I realized you don't like the President from various comments but I listen to political talk live during the week. I was listening to enjoyable talk about the new SRT Viper and you just had to throw in that comment. Its a turn off on Motor Trend. Democrats like muscle cars too. This show has irritated me and I'm deleting it. Remember when Rush Limbaugh was on Monday Night Football talking like he was on his radio show. This is Motor Trend not your personal podcast. -------old review------ Not sure what has changed but as of April 2012, I'm really enjoying the show. I'm going back listening to old shows. I really enjoyed the interviews with the heads of SRT and Dodge this week. Love that 1st gen SRT GC. Used info from the show to support my announcement to my Viper owning co-worker, that Dodge has indeed dropped their name from the new 2013 SRT Viper. I said I just heard the President of Dodge just now on Motor Trend Radio. End of story.

EricconI miss new shows!I love this show where are the new ones it's June 20th 2012

Zedteamk2It's an advertisementSome interesting stories, but the interviews just feel like advertisements. No real reviews, apparently every manufacturer/ product is perfect. Look elsewhere for for actual infirmation

Henry's SonAlan Taylor is an idiotAlan, you're not a bad interviewer. Just stop trying to be funny - you're high school comments are irritating to the listeners - and I'm certain to your guests. Don't work so hard at trying to have fun - you sound stupid.
-
DisappointedMotorTrendLoverNot GoodThis podcast is basically just a bunch of advertisements. They did have an interview with Dan Wheldon that was okay, but otherwise not much of value. If you want to know that craftsman tools are great or that you can buy cars on eBay this is for you. Otherwise save your time and just read the magazine.

mjfan13Good showPeople are too picky these days. As a gearhead, i could careless about the host. As long as the topic is car/bike related, i will listen.
-
Darling Alice LiddelI have to agreeAlan. Please stop with the touché bit. You're using it in the wrong context. But for what it's worth...the crazy freshman highschooler bit is mildly amusing but I sometimes get the feeling that the other hosts get tired of being cut off and having to deal with some childish antics when they're trying to be serious. But that's kinda what makes it Alans show. And for all those trying to download the podcase, you've either need to be on wifi or DL them on your pc. WHEN they're finally uploaded!!

1-cavediverMessed up as usualTried to download the podcasts to my iPhone and it says "this podcast cannot be downloaded" ????? I guess going from C&D to MT didn't improve Alan Taylor's ability to deliver his podcasts timely (or at all). He doesn't have a clue!
-
Dave in CowtownHuh?Great, new title, but I get an error stating that this podcast cannot be played on your iPhone. Perfect. What a joke.

OneLateNightManWhere is the Podcast Alan!?!I agree, I love the show with Alan and all the guys, but why is it so hard to post the podcasts. Car and Driver was the same way. I had hopes this would be more timely. I cannot listen live because of work, that's why I like to listen to the podcast. Like Steve, I may move on too, if the shows don't com out soon!
