Mother WheelPlease ask Austin…To NOT end every sentence with a rising intonation, making it sound like a question even when it's meant to be a statement, it's called "uptalk," "high-rising terminal" (HRT), or "rising inflection" in linguistics. It’s so distracting and makes it hard for me to listen to your awesome conversations.

bjowlLove this podcastAs someone who is still learning about aspects in astrology, I appreciate the abundance of information that Chris and his cohosts provide on this podcast. I especially love that he covers topics like using astrology in psychotherapy, predicting future events by analyzing similar planetary positions and aspects in history, or devoting hours to break down one House. I’ve noticed that some previous reviewers report being offended by the hosts referring to “gun culture” or other language that outs the hosts as being leftist, and to that I say ask yourself if you are part of a cult, stop being a crybaby snowflake, and go listen to Joe Rogan.

AstrowhimsNecessary and fantastic collection and workSilent listener for multiple years now—thanks Chris and co for recording this incredible library of astrological material and keeping the record.

Alana_SuzanneMy happy place as a Gemini👯♀️I have tons of Gemini and 3rd house in my chart. I am not an astrologer, I’m a filmmaker, but I listen to this podcast ALL THE TIME because it is endlessly fascinating. I learn so much all the time and could listen to Chris and his guests talk for days. I’ve never been so into a podcast. I love learning astrology through Chris because he obviously cares so deeply even though he presents with a very stoic and sometimes monotone voice… the deep care is so obvious with all the detail, study, and questions he puts into everything. He is wonderful. I also love the jokes he and Austin make during the monthlies which I don’t think they’re trying to do… but they do them very naturally and well!! I love this podcast so much!!!!!💖💖💖💖

ana691!LoveLove this podcast — we are so fortunate to be alive right now and be the recipient of Chris’ compendium of tremendous knowledge. Also so glad Austin is back! No one matches him as co host of the monthlies!

urlyturtleI Ching and Astrology with Benebell WenWay too much to digest all at once, but love how Chris and Benebell, both super-focused and research-oriented, bring their individual passions of astrology and the I Ching together in this fascinating conversation.

Taichung2018Love and appreciate this podcastI found this show a few years ago and rarely miss an episode. The host Chris Brennan has great guests. I learn so much with every episode. I started learning astrology 30 years ago, and this podcast has helped to change how I do astrology. Incorporating more traditional techniques into my practice has had amazing results. Astrology is not my day job, and with few astrologer friends to talk shop with, this podcast helps me keep the instruments sharp. Mr Brennan is doing a great service to the field!

PutsGun culture? This is my first time listening. When host brought up “gun culture” as something connected to the July Mars/Uranis conjunction I had to pause. What it means to Me is the host has a political agenda. The leftist gun control campaign based on hysteria. Leftists talk to one another about what a crisis gun ownership has become. Like a lot of left issues, there is an assumption that the lightning rod labels represent the same thing to everyone and no specifics are ever addressed. I just unsubscribed to an astrology podcast that made the case for trump being the antichrist? What? Has nothing to do with anything except idiot left hysteria and fanning flames of hate and divisiveness. I strive to be apolitical. I look at astrology and other spiritual tools as above the loud present day in-your-face politic. I’m finding it very difficult to find like-minded people. It seems everyone wants to fan the flames of political divisions. Why? Why are we looking at the stars to confirm political beliefs? Like, there is no other way? If an astrologer’s political views are supported in the stars then they must be “true.”

29 DegreesAntisemitic AstrologerChris blocked me and many other Jews for saying that the Pro-Palestine protests are not peaceful and are antisemitic. This is after I’ve paid him for courses, Patreon, etc. He also regularly deletes comments and misinformation that he spreads. 90% of the time, the person is either Jewish or a woman. I first confronted the host of The Astrology Podcast, Chris Brennan, about the misinformation he was spreading this fall. Included in his response was that he's well informed because he has a Jewish girlfriend, aka "I can't be racist. I have a Jewish friend." Rather than listening and learning, he decided he knew better. All Chris Brennan would have had to say is, "Oh, didn't realize some of these protesters were getting out of hand, my bad." But instead, he chose to double down. By blocking me, it's CRYSTAL CLEAR that Chris feels that attacking innocent college students who simply want to go to class and wear a Star of David is acceptable. I suspect the main reason Chris Brennan, host of The Astrology Podcast, has an issue with calling out antisemitism and telling the truth about the protests is that he's being largely sponsored by an antisemitic Jew, Chani Nicholas. It's all about the money and influence. Chani Nicholas has repeatedly used social issues to build her brand rather than focusing on astrology and THE TRUTH. She stands with Hamas rather than the innocent people being held by Hamas. Yes, Jews can be antisemitic. I'm done with people tokenizing Jews to prove their point.

Alex SnowdenNumber 1 Astrology PodcastChris Brennan is a remarkable astrologer with an uncanny depth of knowledge, delivering with astounding attention to detail and profound clarity. I literally cannot wait for every episode. This podcast is always on in my car. A particular favorite guest was the supremely eloquent Britten LaRue. Thank you Britten for refraining from using the typical filler words "you know" and "like" after every other word in your speech. I would love to hear more from her coming up on the feed.

areyoukiddingmeeA valuable gift to astrologers on all levelsIt is amazing that this detailed and accessible educational content is freely available to all astrologers! no matter what knowledge level, everyone interested in astrology will get something valuable from this podcast. With every episode, I am shocked this is free. Chris Brennan, you rock! You are a true gift to the astrological community and I am so grateful 🙏

EMQ16dead airthis podcast needs an editor. I was recommended this podcast and find the subject matter interesting, but cannot for the life of me understand why you’d include minutes of dead air while a guest goes through some technical difficulties while recording. this show would be vastly easier to listen to if you hired someone to edit it. I also don’t like to comment on the voice of others - as it’s not always something a person can control, but the host here is incredibly flat. I don’t need everything I listen to to be exciting, but an effort to make this more digestible and conversational to the average listener would useful.
-
rachelberlinThanks for your consistency! Thanks so much for delivering so consistently with this podcast. I’ve learned a lot. I personally am an Austin Coppick enthusiast so have been overjoyed at the return of the Chris-Austin duo-analysis monthly. These give me so much to ponder, review, go back to during the month, and generally marvel at without feeling caught in an overbearing or too deterministic take on the astrological happenings.

millermaydayi hate austin coppockthe way he speaks over everyone without even having his thoughts together. the way he acts like his life is miserable and then describes a beautiful and fulfilling life. i take long hard looks at my own behavior every time i have to listen to his obnoxious habits since we have so many pisces planets in common. love the show, love the forecast, hate austin

Iyqyqr89Great podcast very thorough and focused!Every time I listen to this podcast I learn something. Every resource recommended is solid and worth investigating for the budding astrologist. Thank you for your work. Thank you for your diligence and dedication.

roselinusfading fast[update below] there is a lot of great information on this podcast, and a lot of free information — though the host is very quick to limit and try to capitalize whenever possible, and that seeps out very clearly in a rather off-putting fashion — but the editions are really tanking lately with mediocre guests, as the host himself becomes more and more overtly political. perhaps the planetary light that once shined brightly here is dimming, speedily. [update] I don't know why i keep listening to this; maybe it's just habit since i have for so very long. but some of the episodes are just so screechingly awful — and barring the occasional visit by someone like say demetra george, most of the guests are frankly unlistenable — that the podcast now is, sadly, mostly garbage. the one saving grace is austin coppock, who tactfully toils to provide reasonable commentary to a sea full of dimwits. but that's not really why i'm adding this addendum. what i really want to say is that it really, really sounds so phony when chris now tries to use the "she" pronoun for venus all the time lol i mean, did "she" send you an email with a pronoun sig or something? better start with 'he/him" for mars right away! and maybe "ze" for mercury 🤣🤣 bro, you sound like such a poseur lol

18NLBW10So wonderfulThank you Chris (and Lisa, Austin, where did Kelley go!) plus so many amazing guests (more Adam, nick, Patrick, and Demetra, too !) Your wisdom and teaching is a gift. Thank you for shining your light! As far as woke- I want one person saying that to actually define that and specify what is bad about it.
-
DME_SkiI LOVE This PodcastClearly one of the most amazing astrologer’s ever, Chris Brennan is an international treasure. I have listened to him over the years. He has grown in leaps and bounds. Deeply, deeply grateful to him and his podcast. And deeply, deeply grateful for his monthly podcasts with the also amazing Austin Coppock and others. Thank you, Chris!

caturner61GoodThis show has been a good source of info but is so woke now. Such a shame it has been politicized.

mel7236Best Astrology podcastStill my favorite podcast after all these years always great content.

nickname lesleygAugust forecastI have been listening for years and really enjoy Chris and Austin and almost always the guest host. However I felt like this was the Michael morrisey podcast. He was on and on into the esoteric and minutiae and boring. I would have enjoyed more the actual forecast and not Michaels endless talking about the mythological or whatever. Maybe astrologers loved it but it was disappointing. I have to find another one to tell me what is happening this month. On another note I really enjoy Chris and Austin and look forward to September.

Of Mycelium and MemoryWhy are people so mean??I love this podcast for its generosity of material and scope. I’m always learning new things. One thing I just don’t understand is why there are reviews that are so mean spirited. You can tell I’m not online looking at what people say much but really, if you don’t like something fine but please don’t character assassinate. Go look in the mirror instead.

samelatteBest Astrology Focused Podcast Out ThereI have learned an incredible amount from the wealth of information on the Astrology Podcast. Any astrologer starting out I highly recommend diving into this library and just absorbing as much as you can. I always look forward to the new monthly forecast, and also shout out to Austin Coppock who is on most of the time for the monthly because the way you explain and break down astrology is *chef’s kiss*. The best of the best in the astro community are on here.

SeñorPonchoJuly Forecast EpisodePlease invite Kira Sutherland back to the show as much as possible. She rounds out the conversation so beautifully and her insights provide just the right touch. Bravo!

milosz on the wingThe most erudite and straight take on astrologyI can’t up this podcast enough. It should be used as a primary resource for anyone beginning through seasoned astrologer. Good job, Chris and Co.
-
4saramarieKinda weirdConsistently the best astrological podcast out there but this recent analysis of Aries missed the mark. I think it was supposed to be about the astrological sign Aries but was a psychological analysis of co-astrologer Rick Levine. Not really that interesting! The bit coin discussion was boring. Ugh! Move on …….
-
No to FascismWhat an amazing resourceI appreciate podcasts that function not only as time-sensitive entertainment but as resources I can return to and continue to learn from well beyond the release date of each episode. The astrology podcast is just that. I appreciate Chris and his guests seriousness! I learn so much from each episode. Thank you to everyone involved in making this podcast.
-
jnv941Good guests, host is not engaging at allCame for the variety of episodes and guests, left because the host seems to just toss around annoying cultural ideas only certain sects of twitter users believe have intrinsic meaning and significance. Kinda disappointing given how smart he is otherwise.
-
Kiki.sessionsIncredible body of work!Fantastic and super special/the best astrology podcast. We are all lucky to have it!

sjadl77Politically Pandering? In the Aquarius episode, Chris and co-hosts had a refreshingly frank discussion on the complexity of polyamory. It was thus surprising Chris later assured his audience he wasn’t “criticizing” the practice [of polyamory]. I’m sure it’s a well-intentioned gesture, but speaking critically on a complicated topic is not the same as bashing it—a fact I’m sure Chris understands given he speaks frequently about politically fraught topics (e.g. free vs. hate speech, gendered vs. neutral language) without engaging in a similar kind of “I’m not criticizing” throat clearing. This is not a knock on Chris’s political views—he’s entitled to them via the beauty of our First Amendment (as we all are). But if Chris is more concerned about pacifying the progressive sect of his audience—rather than speaking honestly about a complex topic—doesn’t this suggest his astrological interpretations are clouded by politics and therefore not well-informed? Viewing life thru a politically polarized lens will rot the integrity of his vast scholarly contribution to the field. And that would be a real shame. Chris—from one data-driven Aquarian to another—you should look into academic studies on political perception gaps and hidden tribes. You’ll likely feel much less anxious after doing so. ✌️

Mama_G26THE BEST✨Chris and team (and Lisa), This podcast is the best astrology podcast! This podcast nurtures my Aquarius Moon and goes to the depths my Scorpio Mercury requires. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to providing consistently reliable content that is grounded in research and inquiry. Truly amazing work, when I grow up I want to be like you🤩🙏🏼And if I’m ever in Denver during the second weekend of the month I’ll make sure to make an appearance at the Astrological Meetup!

Game conaseurWonderfulA truly great, and very thorough introduction to various astrology topics and subtopics. The host, Chris Brennan, is so incredibly knowledgeable on this topic and his guests are equally so. A podcast you must check out if you are wanting to learn all you can about astrology and immerse yourself in the topic!

eliiiiii4444Good information, but bewareFirst, I want to preface this review by saying I’ve been a long time listener since 2017. Over the past year especially, though, this has become evident to me: I feel that Chris and some of the astrologers he brings on the show are spreading hazardous information. We are all human, and entitled to opinion (if you consider blindly accepting whatever the media tells you an “opinion”. We are also not perfect - however, I feel that listening to his show nowadays is a constant process of having to weed out lies and misleading information. I’m not implying that he is doing this maliciously or even has any awareness of this at all (he is a Scorpio, after all — we all understand the Scorpionic proclivity towards darkness, unconscious or not.😉) You can’t be an accurate astrologer and get your sources of information about global news from mainstream/social media. I hear him say a lot especially he “heard on Twitter…” I believe it is reckless behavior, especially considering his large audience. Obviously he is extremely intelligent in a left-brained kind of way — and he has a lot of skill in the art of astrology — which is why it’s disappointing that he is, at the same time, so misinformed. It takes away from his ability to really see the big picture. I’ve learned a lot from him and his platform over the years so I want to say thank you, but I also felt I needed to come here to warn potential listeners. If you read this Chris I hope you have an open mind and can self-evaluate. I unsubscribed after the most recent monthly forecast (August). Thanks.

Seattlemomma48Tone Deaf White MenThis is a difficult rating. Although there is good astrological information presented with some historical examples of transits and past history (albeit highly cherry-picked and random w/put fact checking), the hosts are both white men in their 30s and seem lost as to how to include other voices. This episode was especially difficult to listen to as one host argued that abortion had not been overturned in many states but the future was “uncertain,” and had to be corrected by the other host that it was actually banned many places. It feels dated and the historic examples used seem random anf plucked out of thin air versus any well-researched (or at all researched) examples.
