New season episode 1 is EXCEPTIONAL
The new season opener featuring Tim doing a deep dive on the persistent issues with segregated schooling spaces is phenomenal. As are many other episodes! One of my fave education pods @ the moment 🎉

Thank you for all you’re doing at Think Inclusively. I first heard you on the Ashley Barlow podcast and knew I needed to add your podcast to my library. My son, who has Down syndrome, has been in 4 different districts and states spanning from preschool to 1st grade. Without educating myself through podcasts and online courses I wouldn’t know how to properly advocate for his inclusive education. Regardless of an out of state IEP stating “general education” for placement, we are always faced with the new district immediately wanting to place him in the most restrictive classroom. I have successfully advocated for him with each move and have successfully proven that inclusive education does work for him. But it’s always a fight to get him there. Thank you for always giving me more tools in my tool belt. We are about to move to district and state #5 and I’m already prepping for advocating. But a small part of me is hopeful we will have a positive welcome and we won’t have much of a battle ahead of us due to more and more parents and educators advocating for inclusive education.

    Inclusivity always works
This is a podcast I didn't know I needed to hear. It examines our culture, society and individual perceptions of disabilities, diversity, and stereotypes. Episodes examine impact of social justice, social media and general socialization that may unintentionally or purposefully further segregate and exclude those with disabilities, particularly in regards to careers and education systems. The dialogues around CRT and education are thorough and well covered. I really enjoyed the conversation and how the host brings you along in his understanding and always brings it back to inclusivity.

    Finally!!
Disability is often the ignored dimension of diversity and this podcast absolutely gets it right! As a manager I find the insights to be invaluable. True inclusion only comes when everyone feels welcome and the insights here help so much with that.

Think Inclusive is the show the world needs
I’m so thankful for Tim and his guests! This show is covering topics and sharing stories that just aren’t talked about in today’s world, but they are so needed so we can understand how to be inclusive of people different than ourselves. Keep it up! So thankful to have found this show.

    Incredible
I’m a parent who has been fumbling around knowing something that they are trying to do to my child is wrong, that segregation is wrong, but not knowing that there were other people, loads of research, and lots of examples to follow. This podcast has been amazing. Mind blowing. I hope everyone listens to it, not just those with disabled kids in their lives!

A Fantastic Podcast for All Educators
I am a special educator working on a state grant and am loving this podcast. I am working my way though past episodes and am constantly sharing with my consultants and the school and district administrators we support. The last episode with Katie Novak was amazing and we plan to use it for a UDL PLC in one of our districts.

Just what we need! Thank you!
I jsut listened to Les Brown's episode --the first of season 7. It was so good I started taking notes. The sad thing is what he astutely knew was wrong in the 1960s is still often what is practiced. Not only that--but as a parent of a child with Down sydnrome, who is fully included in high school, I see regression behind me. I see great sacrifices necessary on the parent side for inclusion to even be possible. And I see parents actually advocating for seprate schools and biuilding seprate living options. We need to stop the regression--and move forward again. Together! Thanks for all you do!

    Great Find for Educators!
I happened upon the blog by the same name a few months ago and just recently found out that there is this podcast too. I have listened to all of the back episodes and am really enjoying the conversations with thought leaders in the special education realm. Keep 'em coming!
