Alpine AzaleaEpisode 231: soft eyesThe chemistry was rizz ( not really, kids ) and thanks to Tom's soft eyes Jessimae takes us on a nostalgic regeneration.
-
BostonIrishRulesLet the guest talk!Tom. PLEASE try not to chuckle and comment through the guest talking It is literally hard to hear what the guest is saying through your constant chuckling. Try silence The Kimmel interview was so annoying and hard to listen to even though his stories were fun and interesting.
-
LIKEGHEENice PodcastI listen to it pretty often.
-
gjduuyfghLove the guests and format-small noteTom you are my favorite! Small note saying yeah after every sentence from your guests when they are talking is distracting
-
sucknitTom is great! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I am a comedy fan since I was a kid! I love Tom! I was over the moon when Kyle Kinane talked about how much he respects Tom on You made it weird.
-
diggity 123456778Great show.I love listening to the conversations that Tom has with his guests. You can tell they really enjoy talking to him and it does not feel forced

Regular 23Love KiraAlways love his comedy and Kira is amazing
-
docvailGreat interview bad sound qualityThis show could be so much better if the guest had a microphone and could be heard. The parts that I could hear were great but the sound is inconsistent and I missed out on so much of the dialogue that I finally turned it off.

Ratclca1My favorite podcast - even with KiraMy favorite episodes are the ones without Kira. I love listening to Tom’s conversations with restauranteurs and the perils of missing a payroll or having to show up early to your favorite eatery before the senior citizens eat all the spare ribs. There is the original Breaking Bread with Tom Papa, in which you actually feel like you’re sitting at the table in some gritty dive with the best food in town, an up-and-coming sommelier, and a celebrity patron list that would make Chasen’s weep. Papa has a podcast gift of creating an intimate setting for some great conversations. Now there’s Breaking Bread with Kira. The intimate dinner conversation is gone. The dive speakeasy is gone. It’s basically Kira whining about PTA meetings and kiddie birthday parties. But Tom’s still there and he’s still shining. Just less so. Tom, if you’re reading this, no offense to Kira. But your original format was ethereal *and* gritty. Addictive. Please consider going back.

gwlkGo It Alone 2I agree with the other guy. Tom you don’t need the other guy. It’s your slow, not Kira. I had to stop, switched the listen. What ? You don’t need to piggyback Tom. Kira you can get your own podcast.
-
nopoliticaladspleaseGreat podcastThis podcast makes me laugh and feel hungry 😁
-
Mougg1Go it aloneLove the the show Tom but please spare the winy drivel of Kira!. You can hold you own on the show with interesting guest. Kira just takes the ambiance away and just keviches and moans and about EVERYTHING and if I have to hear about her checking her kids butt I am going to smash my my car radio. You were much much better alone. Please tel her to stay home or get her own podcast she adds nothing to what was once a great great podcast!!! I have stopped listening an worst stop buying all the great products you promote. Long time fan and listener Ken Blanford

RosieTRiveterBetter than the newsTom you are a great example of a beautiful person, man, husband, father, and of course Comedian. Love the show and all the great people and places you introduce and reveal to me. Great interview style. I have listened to every one.
-
rykaelvikThought provoking podcastSo far this has been a great podcast and I love Tom Papa. His podcast (IMO) had broadened my thinking and solidified thoughts and beliefs. It’s fun, interesting and thought provoking . Kudos to Tom for being more patient with the fringe opinions of some of his guests and friends that I wouldn’t be able to tolerate. Lol. (Like episode 23- solidified my thoughts about who Rogan is; and reinforced why I don’t like him)

Ignatius J. ReilleyTom’s enjoyment shines throughReally enjoy the show. Tom Papa’s approach both food and people as genuine, curious, and fun really shines through. You can learn, you can laugh, you’ll be exposed to cool ppl and their stories. Tom - you should try to setup an episode with someone from the Southern Foodways Alliance! They’re an awesome organization and I think you’d dig their approach to food media and scholarship. They do a pod called Gravy…check it out
-
djgieGreat ShowTom Papa brings warmth, humor and humility to this podcast. He seems genuinely invested in learning about his guests and gives them the space to share so listeners can get to know every person. His love of food and family is infectious!

pdh07Love the show-Hate when guests get political! Here to enjoy and laugh or learn about food. Not where I want to go for political opinions.
-
feed your familyBreaking Bread with Tom PapaBeen loving this podcast. Delightful listening during pandemic. Host, Tom Papa is witty and charming, and the exchange with his guests are lighthearted and fun. The guy is sweet - and, being that my name is Tom and that my (5) sons call me Papa, I feel like I have a brother in spirit
-

smitty6370A lovely listen!Listening to this brings me joy! With every episode I feel like I’m sitting within earshot of Tom and his friend at a restaurant as they talk about their lives and interests, share funny moments, and yes, break bread or enjoy a nice smoked Gouda.

Brad CusterThoughts on family guestsQuick review… If you’re a fan of Tom Papa then this is a must listen. You won’t be disappointed and everyone could use more positivity each week in their lives. Now, the real reason I’m commenting is that I think you should have any relative be a main guest on the podcast that wants to. I know a lot of us would love to hear the personal stories that they can share about you. Brad from Hagerstown (Yes, that one)

Jr.MintBest Part of the WeekTom Papa is not only one of the funniest comedians working today, he’s also clearly one of the nicest. It’s such a joy to listen to him interview a fantastic slate of comedians, writers, actors, and food personalities. It’s clear this is a topic he truly cares about, and that joy comes through. Thanks Tom!

Milt DDonna Lennard “home taught chef”Love the show. Your hilarious! But I am a bit upset with you. Back when I was on The Marriage Ref you all made fun of me for being a “home taught chef” you and Jimmy made comments like I was no good because I was home taught. Made jokes like let’s go to that new restaurant owned by the home taught chef. Yet you love Donna Lennard who claims she’s a home taught chef. Not cool Papa. Not cool. Milt “Goldie” Drewer
