Texas House Call VeterinarianGood stuffExcellent material/topics, translated nicely for those of us non-physician/non-research scientists. I’m a veterinarian, so depending on the topic, many human medical podcasts go over my head. But the hosts of this show speak lay-scientist language and tie the research into the real world. Really enjoyable and informative. -Dayna Baxter, DVM (Houston, TX)

Junko JonesGood, but first half is irrelevantA promising podcast, but I suggest tightening up the content to only stem cell/regenerative medicine/etc related content. The first half of the show is taken up with general science news, or news tangentially related to science that is completely irrelevant to these topics. A stem cell podcast is a great idea; I think trimming the fat would make this amazing!

Luvaluv1Stupendous scientific podcastEntertaining and cutting edge stem cell podcast. Kiki and Daylon have huge feet to fill. They've been doing an immaculate job thus far!!

Erika N19A fantastic and entertaining way to learn about the field of Stem CellsThis is one of the best science podcasts I listen to! It helps keep you up to date with the research that is being done in the stem cell area, and if you are new to it, it is helpful because it gives an idea of who is who and who is doing what in the field. Highly recommended!!

dwbioIncredibly well doneTwo experts in the field speaking to the average person in a way they can understand, but also in a way that's not dumbed down and is appealing to a scientist. Great topics, great guests, well done guys! I love the focus on emerging therapeutics as well. Keep it up!!!

corporateslaveFunny and informativeGreat podcast - interesting, informative, and accessible!

Jas HughesOne of my favourite podcastsA candid science podcast, particularly targeted at scientists or those with some science background. The interviewees come from a pretty diverse set of backgrounds, and the interviews are accessible and often humourous. The "round ups" of literature select some pretty interesting papers, and explain them at a sufficiently general level that non-experts can appreciate the findings. I love listening to this while running or doing tedious Pipeting.

Evolutionary HealthIt Keeps Getting BetterDr Fasano and Dr. Ganat, I wrote a review after your first few episodes and now i feel compelled to write another one. This show has turned out to be something truly remarkable. You both do an incredible job of mixing high-level science with humor and entertainment. The fact you both are high-level scientists who produce truly outstanding work yet manage to be relatable is helping to make science more relatable to the public and gives it more of a “cool” factor! I have a steady stream of about 15 podcasts I subscribe to but your’s is definitely at the top! I can’t thank you enough for producing the show! You have helped fill some lonely hours in the cell-culture hood and microscope room. I hope this show continues for a long time to come. Cheers to you both! Brad

TinytinytowerThe best stem cell podcast on the Earth! As a graduate student who is looking at HSCs and cancer, I guarantee this is the best podcast for those who want to know what the stem cell is and how this technology is going on.

little.legsGreat job! This is a great supplement to my science education. The pan-biomedical-science mini journal club at the beginning and the science ranting are perfect. It’s targeted at the nerdy science-y crowd, especially those who appreciate the joke of a "pipet shotgun”, but hey it works for me.

Rob@DCStemulatingThis podcast makes me wish that I'd chosen a career in science - especially with the rapid advancement of stem cell science. These guys do a great job at capturing the listener's attention and imagination as they walk through some of the more interesting updates in the field. They also cover a lot of other "non-stem cell" science updates (and they inspired me to download the PNAS app). I don't always agree with their take on things - to include their evolving rants - but they definitely get me to thinking.

Spencer@UGAPre-med/genetics majorI've been into science podcasts and their role in science education for a long time, leading me to start my own health & science radio show at the University of Georgia. This podcast is my favorite series I've listened to in a long time, and I check my iTunes constantly for a new episodes. Thanks for putting this out, and I wish you two the best of luck with reaching your goals for the show. I want it to keep on going forever!

LolcakezAccessibleAs a high school graduate interested in medical sciences, I find this podcast a fantastic way to familiarize oneself with a niche of the scientfic community. I wholeheartedly enjoy listening to the hosts discuss journals, conferences, education, breakthroughs. All of which are communicated cearly and quickly making for an hour well spent.

Staxxxxx1Great show and ideaThis podcast is great. The show has a great flow and it doesn't beat you up with scientific jargon. Plus the intro and outro music is pretty dope!

sciguy357Funny stuffScience needs more accessible sources of information, and nothing is better than an informal podcast that doesn't put you to sleep. You'll learn and enjoy it, too.
-
Jim JeffersonA great forum for discussion of scienceThese guys are not at all what I expected from a couple of stem cell researchers. The discussion is fluent and accessible and, most of all, entertaining. I will definitely add this to my favorites!
