    Great Content
I’ve binged tons of episodes these past weeks and the value is incredible! I’d suggest including smaller brands too. Maybe a case study on a POD brand going from POD to their own production would be really cool to listen to. More details on how to find design partners, logistics, etc. Love the podcast!

    Pretty gross business tbh
I listened to these podcast and got excited about starting a business with Shopify and have quickly learned the products they mention on here such as Shopify Audiences are NOT for small business owners. That products is behind their $2300/mo subscription. Insane. They also don’t let you deactivate your store and continue to access it for the month even if you already paid (like literally any other company. Makes me feel like canceling a gym membership in the 90’s - totally sketch and just want your money, couldn’t give a rat’s rear about service.

    This Cannot Be Real
For the love of all things holy, PLEASE turn off the chimes and music in the background. These sounds are extremely annoying and make the content difficult to appreciate.
  • Scented Designs
Great listen w/ helpful tips and interesting stories
As a small business owner using Shopify to scale my candle company, I love listening to this podcast and hearing the stories of fellow entrepreneurs sharing their expertise, including struggles
  • Gogs456
    Wow & thank you
These episodes are super inspiring and I love the questions the hosts ask (always what I want to know!) The music adds just the right touch of drama and I really appreciate the advice they share on this show.

    Fantastic insight
I love this podcast, I think it provides exceptional insight into the lives and paths of successful entrepreneurs. It’s changed some of my strategic thinking and definitely provided value into my business

    Will prob unsubscribe soon
Some of these episodes are gold, but most are just bragfests that don’t bother offering anything to the listener. Just straight up advertisements for the interviewee.
  • Zacharyyyyyyyyyyyy
Love the content - please make guests louder!!!
This is worth a 5 star review for sure!!! So much insight - I had to give 4 because I feel like half the time, I can barely hear the guest above my own treadmill. Please raise their audio levels. The sweaters for mental health episode for example, I wanted to listen so much but couldn’t even hear. The host volume is usually good as far as I can remember. Thank you for the great content when I can hear it!!
  • jsm310
    Please bring back long format
The older format was packed full of useful information - was always helpful to hear about the guests path.
  • mono----no----aware
Preferred their older format of longer more in depth podcasts
As a Shopify founder myself I really loved their longer podcasts where they really dove into the nitty gritty because that’s where the work gets done and there was a ton of useful value you couldn’t couldn’t find anywhere else. The new shorter format doesn’t allow them to do that. Still helpful but not as good.
  • Must listen!!
    New host please
The content is great and it is so insightful to hear the stories about shop owners. However, the host is terrible. I wasn’t going to write a review until I found myself fast forwarding throughout the last episode whenever he spoke. He doesn’t enunciate so it’s hard to understand him, stutters and says “got it” way too many times. The host takes away from what otherwise is an awesome podcast.

Unfiltered advice from other Ecommerce business owners. Really helpful to hear how problems were solved, what to avoid, and how to optimize different aspects of business. Not theoretical, but actually tested work. Great hosts and awesome guests.

    Great Show, take notes!
Felix is a great listener. He seems to really empathize with guests and let’s them answer parts of a question you really want to hear but other hosts cut off. As a new Shopify store owner this is a priceless education. Thanks Felix, to be on your show one day is a goal. - Phil w/LVL Shave Co. 👍🪒
  • Alchemy Imports
    Most informative podcast
Love listening to these podcasts! Great questions open and honest answers. We will be opening shop soon (AlchemyImports.com) and am so glad to have this resource under our belts! I would love to hear more about how successful Shopify stores go about their marketing. How do they go about filming an ad, where they put most of their budget into marketing. Do they like Paid google ads, Instagram, Snapchat, or TikTok for advertising? Thabk you and Keep up the great work!!

    Massive Help!
I started listening to Shopify Masters about 5 years ago when we first started our business, Thread Wallets. I can’t tell you how helpful it is to hear from other founders in the same boat. Felix has such a great way of pulling out aspectsI have a story that teaches very helpful lessons. I owe a lot to this podcast!
  • ITSNATALIEROGERS

So glad I found this podcast
I’m just getting started in E-Commerce. I’m inundating my day with as much knowledge and training as possible. I’m so glad I found this podcast to add to my training repertoire. For a beginner such as myself, the interviews are great to listen to. They’re full of good ideas, tips and tricks. And the business owners that are being interviewed aren’t full of themselves which makes them easy to relate to. Great job!
  • idk why this is needed lol
    Such great questions
The host ask amazing questions. My favorite podcast right now as a new Product entrepreneur

Fantastic episode. Good interviewers. Shuang, please consider listening to the episode and toning down the uptalk.

    Always Helpful
This is one of the most detailed “get into the weeds” business podcasts I have found. There is always something helpful. Felix, the host, does a good job of guiding the conversation — but, as many others have noted, he is difficult to understand. He seems to drop a lot of his consonants, so his words are a bit slurred and jammed together. After about the fifth episode I could understand his speech better.
  • Dommomom
Host needs to articulate but great content
The Host just is very hard to understand sometimes. He slurs his speech and is not very articulate, it is hard to listen to. Please pronunciate your words so that we can actually clearly hear you! Stop slurring you’re words together! It’s like you are talkingwithoutputtinganyspacesinyoursentences. EDIT: content is great, so I will bump up to 4 stars
  • michelle kimber
    Great learnings!
Love listening to this! The tips I’ve learned from the guests are perfect for someone like me who is starting a business. There’s a ton of insight here that any entrepreneur would benefit from.
  • Jmh3311
One of the best podcasts for entrepreneurs!
I love this podcast! Regardless of what type of business venture you have, the amount of information and tips I’ve learned in just a few episodes is unmeasurable. Also the host asks the perfect questions. I find that just when I have a question during an episode, Felix asks it almost immediately after! Only suggestion - I’d love to hear more episodes about multi vendor marketplaces.
  • obacker19
    Entertaining, insightful and actionable! 🔥
Whether you’re well established as an online entrepreneur, or just getting started carving out a profitable niche that’s ready to grow - this is a must-listen podcast for you! Felix does an incredible job leading conversations that cover a huge breadth of topics related to the ins and outs of building a thriving online business and life you can be proud of - from leaders who’ve actually experienced success themselves. Highly recommend listening and subscribing!

Love the speakers that come drop incredible experience and business advice on here for free! Thanks so much!

    I Love/Hate This Podcast
Please. Just listened to Ventana insufferable, interview his partner. Who wants to hear someone talk about how they’re not in it for the money. Please please please get better guests! This is a great podcast, I've learned lots of useful things from it but 90% of the guests are narcissistic arrogant clowns. I just listened to the "Former Tesla" employee one where the guy admits to lying to Indiegogo to get a better promotion deal from them, I've heard your founder speak he's a fairly moral person I'm sure he doesn't approve of that strategy. Then the rest of the guests don't add any value because they're too in love with themselves, the guy who sells grenade golf clubs and now skiis didn't want to give away his "email marketing secrets" then don't come on the podcast and its email marketing what coud he possibly be doing that's so groundbreaking. Just do quick interviews first and filter out these kinds of people I would imagine people would pay to be on this podcast you must have tons of options of people to talk to.
  • davidanthonyharman
    Good but expect better
Love Shopify and use it for my e-commerce site. They are usually ahead of the curve with most things they do, that’s why I’m giving this a 3 star. Have to agree with other comments that the host is really difficult to listen to, and often doesn’t dive deep into questions but kind of skims the surface.
  • Milkymeghan
    Amazing!!
Thanks for asking such insightful questions Felix! I listen on my way to and from work. Wondering if you can do a podcast on the different apps for email....Klayvio vs Seguno vs Omnisend. That would be so helpful! Thanks!
  • RosalynHarris
The Host is Bad, So It’s Hit AND Miss
I rarely leave less than a five star review on podcast. Because I look at the review as a vote to listen to it... So this review is hard! As a business owner, with a Shopify store I want to hear real store profiles and good information from Shopify (the the), and not others who are selling their coaching services.... but more times than not the episode is a waste of time, because the host is terrible. The questions that they asked meaningless or distracting. The conversation go nowhere fast. And more times than not I leave with nothing really to move forward with ... I should give this a 2 STAR
  • MarryA87!
    Amazingly informative
This podcast is really informative and educational. You learn so much about being an entrepreneur and how to take your business to the next level.
  • daniroxanne
    Sexist
A huge majority of their guests are male. I’m actually looking though dozens of episodes now and I can’t find one featuring a woman. As a female who runs a successful e-commerce business on shopify I find this extremely offensive and actually hurtful. The fact that this is a Shopify sanctioned podcast makes it even worse. It feels like a betrayal from a company I know I’m making a lot of money for. I have personally met so many amazing women who are doing huge things on Shopify and they are not being represented whatsoever. Extremely disappointed in the lack of diversity shown by this podcast. Get with the times Shopify and actually share the stories that represent all of your customers!
  • Isabel Lively
    Very good
Love the host ask a lot of good questions, can learn a lot from the answers.
  • elevater1
    I Want to Love It
The content is generally pretty good, with some nuggets of practical knowledge in each. However the hosts audio quality is almost unbearable. His volume goes in and out, and speech is often too fast and unclear.
  • JCC254
    Interesting Content, but New Host
I really want to like this show and I don’t like to criticize, but the host of the podcast really takes away from the interviews and makes them hard to listen to. The guests are usually great, but when the host is interviewing, it’s as though he’s just running through a list of questions rather than having a conversation. I hate to be dramatic, but for some reason his interview style is so unsettling that I may actually have to stop listening - which is a shame because I love Shopify and learning startup stories.
  • cdrbedlam
Finally, a podcast with concrete advice for entrepreneurs
I’ve been burned by a lot of business podcasts (books as well) that are too high level. One example is the “How I Built This” podcast by NPR. It doesn’t really tell listeners how x was built so it’s more of a story of the founder. Anyway, a lot of great tips that dig deep from specific crowd-funding strategies to useful apps and plug-ins. It’s mostly because the host prods their guests for more details like “what did you do to pivot exactly?” or “how were you able to do trade shows for free?” Love it.
  • Willroya

    Tones of knowledge

    Lots of great information
Great podcast with tons of important Shopify information. Sure you'll hear about apps, and funnels, but mostly you'll hear from other entreprenurs. Sometimes that's enough to keep you going.
