MG1776KCInspired!!!I love the content and length!

kenhagenNigel ThomasGreat interview. I read a book when I was a kid called “the magic of thinking big” and there was a chapter on “excusitis”. Our world today has made a science on making excuses for not being successful. Podcasts like this one and good books help you succeed. Why waste time on anything else.

MomofSevenKPodcast cuts offLatest episode does not contain the whole interview.

bdubd13The Gordon Caplan interviewFirst, I want to say thank you for this podcast. It has helped motivate me every week for the last couple of years. I’m running the Boston Marathon this year, my first official marathon (got in with a charity and was at the finish line in 2013 25 feet away from the second bomb blast). Second, I’m looking forward to the book on raising kids. I have a son. The more I listen to these podcasts the more I feel I’m doing the best for him by not making things easy (trying to make this thought concise for this post). Third, I completely agree with Joe when he says this is probably his most important interview. What an Amazing look into humanity. Thank you Spartan Up!

linan42Just Started OverI just started listening a few days ago. Loving the topics and interviews. Tons of great information that anyone can apply to their own lives.
-
treesejSo much potentialBut boring content. Why would he not interview Spartan athletes? It’s all random people that have nothing to do with racing. Athletic brewing, guys helping kids in the Bronx, sure stand alone this is fine content... but I want to hear about training, nutrition, and tips to become an elite Spartan athlete.
-
VysworldBest podcastI’ve been listening to Spartan Up podcast Joe De Sena and the other hosts have always delivered the best contents. The best episode this year has been “ the equation of happiness “. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you!

Camping KevEnough of the complaining.Do we really need the trope of “kids these days.” Come on. The Boomers certainly screwed things up royally for this world. Every Gen has pros and cons, after the latest episode, had to unsubscribe.
-
Stub11Marco ChesetoSOOOO many one liners in this one. Crazy inspiring. “Pain is a Sign of Life”..✊🏿 Thank you for sharing..!!!
-
bigfan912Minor issuePLEASE tell Johnny to slow down some when he talks. I LOVE what he has to say but can’t understand half of it.
-
PanashioSuperb, been listening for yearsThis podcast is absolutely wonderful, I have learned so much over the years from Joe, his team and the various guests. I am very grateful for it. I only have one critique. The interviews are too short. Not everyone has a short commute. I will be listening to a really great interview, then all of a sudden it’s over. I simply cannot understand how such a superb put together team goes through so much trouble to travel the world and do these amazing interviews and cut them so short? Joe, I respectfully request longer podcast, but thank you for what you and your crew do.

bacon gulchInspiringSuperior interviews with discussions and recaps that help me grow and improve at home, work, in life.

CollinbsDon’t go commercialI usually love these podcasts but this was a commercial for the waffles. Saying it isn’t A commercial doesn’t mean it isn’t. Focus on the message you want the audience to hear.

Gratitude Y'allSurprisingly Minimal EffortEveryone is too busy training to create a compelling podcast? 1-5 minutes long, no apparent structure or preparation. Just folks talking briefly for your ears.
-
done with heartAwesomeOriginal, informative, positive. Great work. Nice to see this in such negative, harsh times
-
SoundsharkMikePlease eliminate the spartan mind segments . They are a complete waste of time .
-
!bWd!Mista DaveBust outta your 'tick-tock', consume Spartan Up! and revel in the challenges of life. These presentations are impassioned, real communication for real people.
-
Chris_TylerGreat guests! The guests on the show are amazing. Inspiring stories. Great motivation. Everyone can learn something in every podcast. Some of the hosts are unnecessary and/or egotistical. If the podcast was just the interviews and a quick intro and/or summary, it would be better. The colonel is awesome.
-
P's TurnGreat learning resourceReally enjoy the guests and their many aspects in fitness if the body and mind. I guess I need to sign up for a Spartan Race this year.
-

Dr. FroehlichFinally!!!I have listened to many podcast over the years but the Spartan up! podcasts have by far been the most inspiring. After listening to just eight podcasts I have ordered two books written by guests and have a few more on the list. Thanks for making the start of my day so motivating!
-
Fuzzy BeeQuality has been declining.Seems this podcast has run its course. If they don't successfully adjust, subscription levels will surely fall. I'll be giving them a handful of podcasts before I pull the ejection lever, but I'm not optimistic at this point.
-
zillow111usBeginning to all sound the same....Joe does mostly leading questions and no one ever disagrees with him. Have we run out of people to interview when we are interviewing just people who run your races? I've listened to 140 of these and he hasn't got any better. Doesn't even know the names of the people he's interviewing!
-
AnimalelvisThis is itListen to this. Listen to Joe. Burpees and cold showers. Thank you Spartan Up you rock.

JEHIVMotivational and InspiringI find these interviews to be a great source of motivation when I start to think of excuses for not bettering myself everyday. They are inspirational, in that it shows what a person is capable of achieving when they set their minds to something they believe in. Overall, I can't say enough good things about this podcast. I appreciate the time put into it and can't wait to see where this goes. Thank you.
-
