    My favorite Packers podcast
If you like horns, sirens, hot takes, and talking heads yelling over one another, you probably should pass on this podcast. Blue 58 is calm, intelligent, rational discussion about Green Bay Packers football. It has become my go-to Packers podcast.

Smarter Packers Fans are Better Packers fans
And better Packers fans is what we all want to be. This podcast is like talking to your favorite college prof about your favorite team. The host is calm, insightful and intelligent. Frankly I was shocked to learn how young he is, as he speaks with such maturity. I look forward to every episode. Also, no ads to skip past!
  • Dale Crawford
This is the podcast you didn’t know you needed.
For as long as I have followed Jon’s content, he has always provided a calm, thoughtful, and honest analysis of the Packers. It is easy to over-consume Packers news given the myriad of Twitter reporters and podcasters, but this show should be an anchor point in your subscriptions. He doesn’t waste your time speculating on hot takes. He gets to the point by reviewing film and breaking down the current state of the team. Also, Jon has a voice made for radio and podcasts, which greatly enhances the listening experience.

    Host is delusional
How are the Packers better than the Lions. They lost to them twice. Your $50M man isn’t even a man anymore. He once was the Jesus of the regular season. Now he can’t even win at home. Grow up!
  • DisplacedHoosier
Best Packers podcast available - seriously
Every episode is carefully researched, curated, and executed. You can tell Jon loves the Packers and loves this podcast. I walk away as a far more knowledgeable Packers fan every time. Thank you, Jon!

    The Thinking Man’s Packers Podcast
Blue 58 does an incredible job diving into the “why” behind the packers. Johns analysis is top tier and really helps me understand the team and football on a deeper level. I’ve tried many other packers podcasts but Blue 58 consistently has the best analysis and facts. Love it!

    Blue 58
Great great analysis on the Aaron Rodgers problem. Thank you especially for reviewing past seasons to illustrate that Rodgers was not performing at MVP level. Still management needs to be proactive in communication and listen to excellent quarterbacks. Fabre wanted Randy Moss, Rodgers wanted Marshon Lynch from Buffalo. And the whole NFL missed on signing Julian Edelman, dynamic slot receiver and great special teams returner when he was a free agent!!

    Possibly the best Packers podcast
First off, I hate ads, so an ad-free podcast like this is phenomenal. I’ll be signing up for their Patreon asap. Second, the analysis here is so level-headed. No drama, straight to the point, and some awesome focus on lesser-known Packers players (players who only played a handful of snaps, practice squad players, etc.) It’s all around a pretty perfect product.

    Great content
Voice as smooth as butter with great insight. I listen to every episode. What happened to the book club?

    Great work
Maybe the only 32 year old podcaster that leaves me feeling like I just had a conversation with my 67 year old father. Dude, Pat Summeral was born in 1930! I love it buddy.

    The Best Packers Podcast
Jon Meerdink and the Blue 58 podcast is hands down the best GB Packers show out there. Terrific knowledge of the game, highly thoughtful and even handed takes, avoids the usual knee jerk reactionary stuff, and delivers it all at a professional radio host level. Nary a “well...I mean... you know...” to be heard. My only complaint is that it’s so good it leaves me wishing for longer and more episodes! Cannot recommend enough.

    Jon Meerdink is awesome
So often in the sports media world, hype is king. Blue 58 is all about becoming a smarter Packers fan. Jon Meerdink has a mind that is inquisitive, but reasonable. Open to testing his beliefs when confronted with other opinions. He is the type of fan that makes me proud to be a Packer fan. Keep up the awesome work!

Blue 58 is an Essential Part of my Packers Season
John Meerdink is an affable and astute host that provides both quality statistical analysis and general insight into the Packers, both current and occasionally historical. I listen to a fair amount of Pack podcasts and while many are good, some of the most popular carry a lot of bloat (aggressive ad reads for example) or meander too often into idle chit-chat. I love the efficiency of this one. John doesnt waste your time and gets promptly into the content. Dont miss out if youre a Pack fan.
  • EJ - Chicago
    Insightful and thoughtful analysis
Blue 58 provides a consistently high level of commentary and analysis not only throughout the season but during the off-season as well. I always look forward to a new podcast release on M-W-F. Great stuff keep up the good work!
  • Kanav Khosla
    Great pod covering the Pack
Jon provides intelligent, humble and insightful takes on the Packers. He is most reasonable Packers fan I have found. I love his approach of adding both data and narrative to his coverage of the Pack.

    Easily the best Packers podcast
It’s so refreshing to have thoughtful analysis of our favorite team. Great job- keep it going!

    Used to be...
When I first started listening to this podcast, sometime before the 2019 draft, I was very impressed with it. It had depth, was thoughtful and research based, and relevant. Now, it seems that John more often than not mails it in. Like, “I need to get this podcast out of the way so I can go on to other things.” I hardly listen to it anymore. I’m more of a Locked On Packers podcast person now. I’ll glimpse at this one once in awhile, but if the podcast title doesn’t seem relevant to what is currently happening during the week of the game, or it it’s a 12-16 minute podcast, I don’t listen.
  • Cindoc
    Different content which is good
Data driven, less opinionated which makes it different than most pods. Just right amount of content. Pleasant radio voice, low key which is also refreshing compared to other announcers which often scream for attention.
  • MyWeezjr.14
    Love this podcast
I think to be a true Green Bay Packers fan, one must not only watch the games, but get involved in som analytics. John does a great job of giving relevant, interesting information and an important outlook of the Packers’ season. I love listening!
  • DougDeep_41
    Great Show!
Definitely worth the listen. John is fair, (mostly) unbiased, and always leaves me thinking. I especially like his analysis of the games, win or lose. Love the podcast, keep it up!

    Best Packers Podcast
Jon Meerdink and friends provide semi weekly updates and insights. I’ve listened to other Packers podcasts Jsonline and others, but this podcast is professionally done. While I sometimes disagree, more often than not, there are insights pulled together from various sources that makes sense when consolidated into one theme.
  • haterTom
    Clear
Just a little advice, always remember you are mocking the draft. Gm? Nah. Rashan Gary argument: What about his production? Watch the tape. It’s not always about backing a quarterback. You sound like a millennial.
  • Class of 82, 82 Rules!!!
    Best Packer podcast available
I’ve been listening to John for the past year and his intelligent and insightful Packer podcast is worth a listen. He really knows his stuff and avoids the common pitfalls of talk radio hosts that just make controversial statements to rile people up. He is my favorite Packer podcast, give Blue 58 a try.

Without a doubt one of my 2 favorite Packers podcasts, and it’s extraordinarily well done. Always based in well researched and articulated facts and state, with poignant observations that are well articulated and concise. This podcast is to Packers football everything that President Trump isn’t to America.
  • KevPack18
    Best Packers podcast
Very insightful analysis and always the perfect length around 20 to 25 minutes. Best of all no ads like some of the other daily podcast. Keep up the good work!

    Uber Professional...but fun!
Jon's knowledge and fluid delivery make this one of the best football podcasts out there (not just Packers podcasts), including offerings from the "professionals." He puts thought into his analysis and doesn't simply spew off one hot take after the next in a feeble attempt to garner attention. He's not an unabashed homer, either; if a bad move from the GM or poor showing by a player warrants criticism, he's not afraid to share it. It's an easy 30-minute listen, usually, which is the perfect length. At the risk of sounding like a gushing fanboy, he has a voice tailor made for broadcasting -- deep, rich and clear. A great podcast. If you only listen to one Packers podcast, make it this one.
