Ryan Longwell / Mason Crosby Interview
The Ryan Longwell / Mason Crosby Interview was fantastic. A must listen for true Packer fans. Glad I caught it!

    Post-Cuts
The best parts of this station were let go in August 2022. Now they’re putting out occasional interviews to funnel you to the bland website for clicks. New subscribers will only download this because ‘Packers’ is in the title, and they know it, but The Fan is doing its best to hang on. Condolences to the 1250AM listeners and staff who were forced to look elsewhere. On the bright side, there’s several decent podcasts for the former. Keep scrolling!

    Sparky
If the new company thinks it’s going to increase viewership by firing Leroy and Gary they are nuts. It was great just the way it was but of course this is typical with the so called major corporation coming in making all the ridiculous changes. They always have to screw up a good thing, a lot like our federal government!

    Sparkey needs a new word
We get it, Spark, you get paid every time you use the word “again.” But do you really need to say it 16 times per sentence? Find a new word and take a breath. Brutal, brutal, brutal.

    Too much political correctness
The NFL is dead to me. Unsubscribed all my football podcasts today

    Same Question for every guest
I like Bill Micheals- not bad but it seems each day that he holds on to the same question or topic and just asks the same thing for every guest and gets everybody’s opinion through out the day on the same thing. Just gets old. Mix it up based on who the guest is. Leroy is awesome, love the Big Show, Morning show. I listened to all the time. Things have changed with cuts and talent on the radio but still giving them a chance. Love to hear Packers takes. Go Pack Go

The one I save for last
I’ve listened to many Packers podcasts, and over time I’ve winnowed them down to just a few that I actively listen to. This is not a podcast as we know them, but is composed of extracts from a radio show. As such, you get different personalities weighing in on different episodes. Yes, parts of it are flawed. I could certainly do without Chuck and Winkler and their sophomoric attempts at humor. And yes, Clemens is repetitive and occasionally has some dumb takes. He always seems to be in an elevator with some big shot who has something hot to say. But he also brings some insight, so enjoy the first time you hear it, and endure the next several times that he tells the same story , with the same incredulous reactions. After all, it’s a radio show, and they need to fill time. I love the spots with Gary Ellerson and LeRoy Butler, and Gary does game wrap-ups with Bill Michaels quite well. When they talk to former players, they provide a glimpse into a world that most of us will never know. I also love listening to the post game shows, at least until the callers become part of it. Michaels is one of my favorite people on the show. Someone wrote a dismissive review saying that he was a former shock jock in Cincinnati, and because of that, apparently he’s no good. That’s nonsense. I’ve never heard him as a shock jock, nor do I care what he did in the past. We all have to work, and I don’t begrudge anyone for making a living. As a Packers analyst, he’s insightful and does his homework, and I look forward to his interviews with reporters, players, and people inside the league. Those interviews are where the real value comes in. Michaels is the best, but Baby Tausch (okay, I guess you have to have a nickname in radio) is good at interviews, and even some guy named Sparky does well when the situation dictates that he not fall into saying the dumb stuff that Winkler can’t seem to help himself from saying even when he shouldn’t. So overall, it’s a very good show to listen to, and I recommend it.

    Fake sports media
Bill michaels just might be the most uninformed sports media member in history but every single Mike Clemens fake story begins with “out of the elevator steps” or “down the escalator comes”. The most fake, bs, parts “guys” on radio. Don’t waste your time listening to these fn clowns.

    Poor host
Really a poor choice of host for the post game discussion I don’t know why the best person for the job is a shock jock from out of state but there has to be a better option out there guy deliberately takes a narrative that most fans disagree with and cuts off anyone who calls in to disagree with him
