poolshark123These guys need to get their joy backEven if the Suns were pounding OKC out of the Western Conference these guys would NOT be having a good time together. Just trying to get the news from good sources but it comes at the cost of sitting through the absolutely grating interactions between Brendon and Ben, yikes!
-
bradt17Poor chemistryThe last 12 minutes of the last episode were unlistenable. Ben does a terrible job of explaining what his position is. Whenever Brenden pushes him to clarify, Ben reacts poorly. This has been going on for several episodes and I feel like the chemistry is just not there. Ben needs to stop with over the top takes, he needs to spend more time explaining and clarifying his takes, and he needs to show his co host more respect. I love having the daily content but it’s almost not even worth it to hear Ben’s outrageous word vomit.
-
gcrakrBad ChemistryThis show at times has become difficult to listen to and just like the Suns hard to follow. I think it’s mostly due to bad chemistry, just like then Suns. Brendon, I’m sure didn’t want to have Ben on the show with him and it shows. He’s condensending, he talks over Ben and acts as he’s the expert, and Ben is some idiot fan boy. Ben is definitely is hyperbolic at times but sometimes that type of host can make things fun. I think if Brendon just played along sometimes and didn’t belittle him as much it would work. Just not sure Brendon is capable of that type of relationship. Probably not going to end well, just like the Suns.
-
BngmoodyThe 2 hosts hate eachotherI’ve listened to this podcast for a long time and it used to be so boring when it was just Brenden but ever since Seth came on, it’s unbearable how Brenden won’t even let Seth finish a sentence without shouting over him that he’s wrong. Seth has way more personality and Brenden is good with all the “facts” but it is almost unlistenable with how much Brenden cannot just let Seth speak.
-
daft_neoToo many adsSeriously, how can a 30 min show have 10 mins of ads every episode? Please don't support these idiots.
-
JCP76767676Just OKHost Brendon does fine for being mostly solo, save for when he has guests. Even then it doesn’t really pop. Topics are extremely bland. The entire Locked franchise has become too robotic and there are almost as many ads as there is content. Probably not his fault but they all need to try and be better so it’s a 3-star for me.

New Hope MannyPhilly specialBeen listening for several years now. Enjoy the show. Kleen is thoughtful in his delivery but at times “clunky.” Enjoy the regulars on the show and the insight they provide. Overall a good podcast without the wackiness of some of the other Sun podcasts.

Leopold_BloomStaleI’ve been listening to this podcast for several years. Brendan does a good job and knows a lot about basketball but the product has become so formulaic as of late. There are generally 3 segments in which the host or hosts riff for 5-7 minutes - often repeating the same information week to week. I continue to listen because it’s the only daily Suns podcast - it’s more background or ambient noise rather than informative or entertaining. The biggest issue with this show are the guests. I don’t mean this on a personal level (more on a broadcasting product level) but the guests have no personality - which is not good for radio. The comedian that’s usually on has never said anything funny, instead they constantly laugh at their own cleverness. The other “Brandon” is monotone, has poor microphone quality and it’s really like listening to something stale and academic. I’d like to see some different regular contributors on the show or a different format.

DeelszThoughtful, unbiased, interesting analysis!A great podcast to hear an objective breakdown of suns’ performances. Also always love the optimism! A great listen. Clearly a lot of work and effort put into each episode!
-
VanpocalypseBest Suns Podcast around! The best Phoenix Suns podcast to listen to! Everything is quick, precise, and the analysis is great! Super helpful for a fan like me who is working, parenting, etc. Shoutout to Brendon for putting out great content!
-
AZwildcat74Honest and fair analysisGo SUNS! Been a fan since the early 80s and Brendon’s podcast is my go to for Suns news. I know he will be honest with his analysis without sounding annoying or arrogant like some of the hosts in other cities. I will admit though that for much of last year, Brendon would pump up this bar and talk about his favorite flavors. I thought it was Bill Bar, only to find out later it was Built Bar. The funny things we hear… Hiighly recommend for anyone wanting to stay up to date on all things Suns.

nathanrjones23Kleen is Clean with commentary that’s lean and meanYou have to subscribe to Locked on Suns It’s is the best whether the team is great or buns When other pods panic after each loss a smidgen Kleen gives us a dose of reality and tells us the pigeon Should we blow it all up is CP3 washed? His commentary is why I don’t end each game sloshed. Any true fan who wants to see the Suns chip glisten Would do well to make locked on suns their first listen.

vvrounderGreat daily podcast for Suns fansIf you can’t get enough up-to-the-minute information on the Phoenix Suns, this is the podcast to satisfy the craving. Posted each night right after the games or early the following morning, it provides a great recap and analysis of all the previous day’s news and action on your early morning commute. If you missed the latest news report or interview about injury news, the ownership situation, or trade rumors, Brendon Kleen and his guests have you covered. At a 25-30 minute run time, it’s long enough to get into some details without dominating your day. Would recommend this podcast (and its corresponding Twitter account) to any die-hard Valley fan.

Blunt83Listen to this!I have been a Suns fan since the 90’s. This podcast is great. Living in Utah it is hard to find good Suns content.

Sonny in G-TownIs Plagiarism Illegal…asking for a friendThe show is great and definitely my go to for the latest in Suns’ news. Just have to ask one question, is it plagiarism when I constantly steal your thoughts and opinions? I often need ammo for a group of friends who love to hate on the Suns. Safe to say I am constantly regurgitating your info from the podcasts 😉. Thanks for the nonstop takes, they often make me sound like a genius! Ha ha -Sonny in Gilbert
-
jjdahlDefinitely 5 StarsBrendon has done a great job keeping me informed and entertained with great analysis and commentary about the Suns. I think the t-shirt giveaway is hilarious too. “I washed it”, hahaha!

llidne217You are not gonna mentionWhy are you not mentioning Chris Paul’s dirty moves. Most recently an elbow to Jose Alvarados neck as they walked off the court in Friday nights game. Then there was Chris Paul’s elbow to the face of Alvarado in the playoffs with Pels last season. I’m glad the Pelicans were able to use their challenge to catch the kick out he did on Zion in the Sunday game. When Chris Paul played for the New Orleans Hornets,I don’t remember him being such a dirty player. As time passes he gets more desperate. I used to cheer for him when Pels were not playing against him , but not anymore. I enjoy your podcast. Just be more honest about Paul and his moves. He loses many peoples respect when he plays dirty.
-
GoSuns54321Paul InjuryYou are clueless about Pauls return. You are not a doctor and your speculation is asinine.

cngrobyGreat Content but I’m Done…I hate to say it but I am done listening to this daily podcast. I love the Suns and have loved listening to this podcast, however, I can no longer listen to the multiple episodes condemning Robert Sarver based on a reporter’s report. We live in a country where you are innocent until proven guilty and this is trash to play to the current trends to bash someone you already didn’t like. I left a 5 star because I love Lee listening to this podcast, I wish you would have kept politics out of it. If this behavior continues we will all lose everything based on accusations targeted to take everything away from people they don’t like. These accusations alone are weapons in today’s world and you are loading the ammo. Sorry to say it… goodbye. If there is a way to let me know you are going to cover from both perspectives I may be back but I can’t support one sided attacks, based on accusations only. Wait for the report, then condemn if appropriate! Thank you for all the content this far.

Nash916Suns Fan StapleThese guys do a great job discussing the Suns. They post regularly, and talk about topics fans are actually interested in. They are pretty high basketball iq fans, they also understand previous heartbreaking seasons, and have the Suns biases every true fan has making them knowledgeable and relatable. Thanks for the good work! As always.... Go Suns!
-
Jeff McMillionGo Suns!Fantastic analysis. Very happy with Brendan’s break downs. A must listen podcast, I look forward to every new episode!
-
Stoolie541It’s fineHuge win against the Bucks. Team plays extremely well and grinds through a tough physical game Brendan: Still finds a way to trash DA. At this point I’m waiting for Brendan to start calling for Frank to start over DA
-
100 LindenA winning team?Great to have Brendon back, now let’s get a winner
-
Grizz AdamSolid, not greatI listen to Locked On podcasts for a couple of NBA teams. I love the suns, and the content here is solid, but the delivery is a little dry and low energy. The Locked On Mavs podcast is the best imo. They aren’t even my team, but it’s such a good listen that I listen regularly.

Jmartimez9021Great podcast!!!Listen to it everyday at work really passes the time and keeps me up to date with my favorite team!!!
-
Brook_WestOk content. Bad delivery. The content is not bad at all. One of the hosts swallow his saliva so loud and so frequently bothering hell out of me. The other talk like he’s mumbling a lot. Just not worth it at the end of the day.
-
Seldom Seen SchweigGood PodcastI listen to it everyday that it is on, which is everyday.

<dashznt>Great podcastFormer Phoenix resident now living in Oregon. Great way to keep up with suns news. They provide some very good insight and keep up with all the new stats and how the game is evolving. Keep it up !

Iron Range LongyIron Range LongyDid you guys ever WATCH Ricky Rubio play before he got to Phoenix???? Your incorrect assumptions are endless! You commented that Ricky didn’t close games in Utah!!!!!!! I have a homework assignment for you: Watch the 4th Quarter of the 2019 Game 4 Playoff Game between the Jazz and the Rockets(it’s the one the Jazz won). The DPOY, Rudy Gobert, CANNOT stay on the floor and gets yanked after two quick turnovers. Ricky Rubio, however plays the entire quarter along with Derrick Favors, a combo of Thabo Sefalosha and Jae Crowder, Royce O’Neale, and Donovan Mitchell. Only Mitchell and O’Neale remain with the Jazz!
-
MahomesWeTrustKeep it upLove the daily content. Keep up the good work, gents!
-
Profx_SunsDo you like Jazz?Although for a while Locked on Suns was sporting some depressing intro jazz music that made you hyper aware of the dismal state of the franchise. I love locked on Suns and have been listening for years now. For a Suns junkie like myself it’s the perfect quick hit of Suns talk to tide me over until the next game that I know will always be there.
-
Colorado Suns FanEspecially great for out of state fans!Good mix of info, updates and analysis of the team. Especially helpful for out of state fans to keep up to speed with Suns and the latest news!

thedivlife10/10Will forever be my favorite Suns podcast. These guys are young with room to grow but they put their heart and soul into this podcast. They’re very generous with how many episodes they put out and the guest they have on are always insightful. Keep it up boys I really appreciate you guys. - @Thedivlife
-
Loversandfightersfan4lyfeI love this PodSo well researched. Great facts and numbers. Great takes. I wish there was a little more personality. And the Audio could be mixed a little better. Aside from that great Pod.
-
LipchakExactly what I was looking for!Great conversation and the best Suns podcast out there
-
iPadDadJJSChange the people doing thisYou guys ought to consider how many times you say “I completely agree” - maybe it’s better to pair up people who bring a different perspective and don’t just generally agree with each other and the Twitter mob?

ClubberLang34Brendon “no one plays defense” KleenOk here is my rant... I need to create a list of all the talented players that Brendon labels as poor defenders. Defense includes defensive rebounding, help-side and perimeter play. Defense is also a Team concept not just individual talent. Ayton is a 7 footer who is capable and has guarded smaller players including LBJ on the wing, very few 7 footers have the ability to do this. He is not a prolific shot blocker but does grab defensive rebounds at a high right. Julius Randle also guards smaller and bigger players with his quick feet and strength also is an exceptional defensive rebounder. Jah Morant is a thin guard had a number of highlight blocks against bigger players, is super athletic, uses his speed to get in the passing lanes but keep in mind that like Booker he is heavily relied on at the offensive end. You can’t have a team of Tony Allen’s and Paul Robersons! The Ron Artest, Kobe, Kwahi and Jordan types who can put up high numbers on offensive and lock down a defender are few and far between. The narrative that Stars like Harden, Curry, And Westbrook are flawed because they aren’t good defenders is overstated, stop following the false narrative “he’s really good, but I don’t want or like him because he can’t play defense”. These are NBA players they are nearly impossible to guard individually. Brendon’s narrative: “Ayton” can’t play defense “Julius Randle” can’t play defense “Jah Morant” can’t play defense “Devin Booker” can’t play defense “TJ Warren” can’t play defense And so on... Another point - how can you be such a huge Zion fan and down play the talent of Julius Randle? Randle is far more skilled than Zion at this point, is as strong and can still jump albeit not as high as Zion but he is taller than Zion. There are a lot of NBA folks that have doubts regarding Zions skill set, no question he is a freak athlete but in terms of skill there are flaws which you never touch on. Like most analyst who have not played basketball at a high level you seem to be enamored with his dunking. Thad Young over Randle, really?
-
Andrés #TheTimelinelocked on phx sunsfantastic podcast. Brendon’s analysis on topics are almost flawless, and you would think Evan is a detective the way he finds numbers, comparisons, and connections. ads are a bit annoying but you can just skip them. keep up the great work!
-
Rager GagerGreat podcastYou guys do a fabulous job of covering all things Suns and I enjoy listening to your podcasts. Keep it up and let's hope we get lucky again for the #1 pick!
-
BrettStoffelLove the showI really enjoy listening to the show to where it has become a daily activity of mine, they have really good yet realistic takes on anything Phoenix related and keep interesting topics of discussion even as it can be hard for a struggling team in such a long season. I know you guys have already dedicated an episode on comparing mikal bridges to Paul George which was a fun and exciting comp, one other player I think would be a fun segment to compare mikal to over the offseason would be Scottie pippen. Scottie came out of college older and turned 22 in his 1st yr as mikal and both immediately brought defense and “winning” basketball from a team perspective. Would be great to hear your guys take on it! Keep up the great work!
-
djhelbertGreat Listen for Suns FansThese guys provide great insight into what is going on with the Suns. They do not blindly support the management of the team like some local radio hosts.
-
TRC.BLKGrown tired of this show.I subscribed to this show a couple months ago and I’m already tired of it. The hosts both sound if they’d rather be doing anything else in the world. They aren’t interesting or humorous. Worst of all, the only thing either are capable of is reciting numbers with no further incite into the game. No matter what the question or topic, completely unable to have an engaging conversation about the game. I’m convinced they know nothing about basketball.
-
voncomptonFlagstaff hippie jockThese guys work really hard to put out a consistently great show with plenty of great insight and opinions!
