Best Battletech podcast that I have found. Great info from a group of guys who love to play and listen. It is primarily Alpha Strike but they are just in general Battletech guys. Lots of great guests who give some spoilers that you won’t find other places. I listen to this show the day it drops every time.

Self-indulgent conversations. If you are looking to find an entry into the Battletech game, move on. Listening to this podcast feels like being the new guy at the table, while everyone else is telling inside jokes and relating stories from 10 years before you moved to town. They keep looking at you out of the corner of their eye to make sure you’re paying attention, but won’t stop to explain or include you in the conversation. Who is this podcast for? The 5 other guys in their local game group? The episode about about Faction Pschology is referrenced in a recent episode as if it’s the ultimate guide to how to discover what faction you’ll enjoy most, but upon listening to it, there’s 20 minutes of unfocused general discussion, followed by 3 minutes of them stumbling onto that week’s topic (I’m sure they named the episode after recording and had no inkling of what the actual topic would be beforehand), then 20 minutes of them congratulating themselves on their choices of Battletech faction and how it demonstrates their own virtues, and finally, they close the last 30 minutes of this progressively inebriated affair with a heated diatribe about the tournament issues surrounding hex basing of models. Who has 2-3 hours to devote to this on a regular basis?

Good to see a Battletech podcast available on iTunes again! Fun, brisk paced first episode. There’s some audio issues but I don’t hold that against a podcast for the first few episodes. Looking forward to hearing more from this group.
