THX0621Re: Tony KleinRe: Tony Klein, I get it. Health care practitioners should for their own professional safety should have a chaperone present. However, this episode of trashing men went too far. Many of their male nurse-female patient comments would never have been made if roles were reversed. Oh yeah, you might want to say female do not violate vulnerables, but then how do you explain all the female teachers getting arrested for sex with underage males. Rethink your anti-male screeds.

kathleen12This was awful and dangerousI was enjoying listening to the old podcasts until I reached the 8/9/2022 episode. Tina’s guest recommends SWATing if you “know someone’s doing something bad and the cops aren’t doing anything about it.” Tina agreed. This is so disrespectful of police officers and their time. Police officers are understaffed just like nurses. They are bound by laws - they can’t just break in and seize alleged evidence because Tina’s guest “knows.” SWATing wastes their time. It endangers the lives of police officers and civilians . Just google “SWATing death”. This episode should come with a disclaimer to NEVER SWAT someone.

LisacrncAwesome Show TinaI absolutely love this podcast! Tina does an awesome job and I love the format and guests. In between the “stories” I’ve heard many interesting opinions and even learned some new resources. While I’ve read some negative reviews here I just don’t get that. Whether or not I agree with all content is irrelevant, it’s thought provoking and offers a variety of views which I love. I’m plowing through all episodes during my morning runs and have enjoyed every single one. I really appreciate the work your doing Tina, you do us RNs proud.

Emilia JayLPNs=NursesHey! Love the podcast. Definitely my favorite nursing-related show. True crime + nursing is the perfect mashup for me. My only qualm though is that you say all the time that yes, LPNs are nurses. However, it feels like you always start by saying something like “She was a nurse for 10 years, however 6 of those years she was an LPN.” or “She finally became a nurse after 10 years of being an LPN.” And then you follow up saying “But LPNs are definitely nurses!” Like you’ve caught your mistake. I don’t even know if you realize it. I just wanted to point that out! I’m an LPN and my friend is an RN and our job duties are absolutely the exact same. She does nothing that I don’t do. Anyway, I’m not trying to be a nag, but I do think it’s important people understand that. Love you and your show ❤️❤️

Doc_4_2000Poor Quality ResearchI listened to the most recent episode. It was poorly researched and the discussion was superficial and one-sided. They treated allegations in a lawsuit as though they were facts. The show prep really feels like little more than an internet search.

euro girlIt was great untilKali Dayton episode… the NP because of course she is NP advocating walking vented patients cause she wrote a paper on delirium or something and now wants to tell you your 0.25 mg Ativan memes are not funny She made entire podcast around exception and not the norm She is one of those rare delusional providers that will not give you sedation while you watch your patient choke and gag, and self extubate and go into cardiac arrest … just another thing nurse can be blamed for later Since she is obsessed with delirium she can advocate opening delirium unit where we send patienr after we save them in ICU Also maybe make “run a marathon on a ventilator” or “go home with ett😃” podcast next. What a joke

lsajrtGood nurseHey Tina: Great podcast! I’ve been a fan for about a year. I’m not a nurse so I learn a lot about nursing. I’m a heart transplant patient and frequent user of medical services. At my last angiogram procedure, I was making small talk with the nurse while she was preparing me for the procedure. After setting the IV thing into my arm she left and came back with a bag of saline. She told me what it was and why she was giving it to me. Then she gave me aspirin and Benadryl. (I have a slight allergy to the dye and it helped relax me before the procedure.) Again she told me what I was taking and why. I told the nurse, “You did everything right, you told me what medication I was getting and why.” I told her I learned about this important procedure on “Good Nurse Bad Nurse”. She never heard of your podcast so I was happy to tell her about you. Tina you made me a better patient. I’m much more understanding when staffing issues impact the service I receive. Take care, and keep up the good work. JW

Babygirl102020DisappointedI use to enjoy listening to this pod, but now it seems like every episode, she’s whining and complaining about negative reviews, and begging for five star ratings.
-

Tim’s iCloudHi Tina!Hi Tina! I have wanted to be a nurse for as long as I can remember, and this is so cool to be able to listen to different stories about life saving nurses!
-
Mike HenrieHorrible, don’t listen to this trash fireHad me listening until your Covid episode. Pretty one sided arguments, I work in hospitals, Covid was a problem, but the government reaction was worse and the real problem. Won’t listen again.
-
NarndooVery uniqueA very unique podcast! Enjoyable, thought provoking! I’m a long time listener and first time reviewer. Thanks Tina, for holding up our profession.

steph36357Boyfriend in nursing school and travel nurse tenantsHi Tina, I love your podcast. My boyfriend is in nursing school and I was looking for a nursing podcast I could listen to to understand a little more about his work. I also rent to travel nurses. I love the podcast and it is such a wonderful conversation starter with the nurses in my life! Thank you for bridging that gap for me, it’s deepened my relationships and is such a nice break from all the podcasts I listen to that are relation to my work (insurance). Love it.
-

Bnelson0364One of my new favsAfter watching “The Good Nurse” on Netflix it was obvious that I needed to find a podcast about Charles Cullen. I was lucky enough to find this one and it’s becoming one of my favorites. Do yourself a favor and listen to several of the episodes. Cullen and Radonda Vaught are two of my favs.
-
grxytHi TI'm in nursing school and I absolutely love your podcast.
-
mkfloresHi TinaAt 60, after a career in social work, I graduated with my RN degree and started work in a major hospital. After a year of bedside I have achieved my dream of home care nursing. I have gained such an appreciation for nurses and the profession and really appreciate your voice and podcast. To me, the foundation of the profession is respect. I want to hear about good and bad nursing and you do an excellent job of keeping it well-rounded and respectful. Thank you

Karen AldenDr Simone Gold episodeYour comments were totally ridiculous regarding Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine. Any provider making a decision about giving medication based on “well gee the patient’s going to die anyway so let’s give medication with no scientific evidence of efficacy” should not be practicing medication. You are medical professionals and should be following medical guidelines and not on what your opinions are.
-
un301Too much chatter! This is my first time listening to this podcast. I’ve played for 10 minutes but the episode has not gotten into any content.

ChaiTeaKarenA Great Listen for Nurses or True Crime FollowersTina is such a good storyteller, she sounds like your bestie just spilling’ the tea after another 12 hr shift. Grab a glass of wine (or latte if you’re driving) and give the podcast a listen. She’ll start it off with a shocking/horrible/unbelievable tale of wrongdoing by a healthcare professional; some stories you may recognize but some you never heard of. You will have to remind yourself that these are TRUE. Then she’ll end on a good note— a TRUE example of a nurse (or other healthcare worker) who did something good/exceptional/brave/inspirational. Tina’s relaxed manner and sweet laugh just draw you in. Her guests are all inspirational too, lending to a fun, conversational tone. TLDR: if you like NURSING and/or if you like TRUE CRIME, this is the podcast for you.

nurse Teresa RNLove podcast!I am a big fan of this podcast! I just discovered it about a month ago . If you are a nurse and a fan of true crime you will enjoy this podcast. Also, this podcast highlights the good in the medical field. This is my favorite podcast!
-
tartofdarknessMaybe this is good butI couldn’t tell from the commercials, meandering chat and misinformation. Gak!
-
Lo8957Good storiesA great radio voice from the host, truly. As a nurse for over 40 years I am tired of nurses working so selflessly for 12 hour shifts. It's not normal to go 12 hours without adequate fluid intake or sitting down for an actual break. This is often seen & promoted as a badge of honor. Please promote nurses taking care of themselves and discourage the unhealthy behaviors which are often remarked on as "good nurse" behavior
-
gabrielals1989Inappropriate commentaryHow did you think that saying“No one with normal names like Williams or Smith or Jones ever do anything bad… it always people with names like this” is ok commentary? It’s inappropriate, insensitive and ignorant.
-
Tanjo0330Love this podcastI listen all the time while cleaning or going to bed. I love the content and Tina and all her guests are great!
-
trucrimegeekI love itI love this podcast!
-
dederaraHmmmmmToo much chatter! I get you have opinions but this podcast is just chat chat chat, waste of my time! Facts only please and maybe one or two opinions, but endless personal narrative? Yikes. I gave you 2 stars for effort.
-
smithfam85Great pod castTrue crime is alway fun to listen to but what I really appreciate is the good nurse portion. Thank you for the encouraging words.
-

DiaRebeMy favorite podcast! This is my fave, I get so excited when new episodes come out!

JuliaKuz643Used to be great, not anymoreI used to be OBSESSED with this podcast and was listening to it every day on my way to school and back. It used to be a storytelling with a few comments from Tina and guest here and there and was easy to follow. I got back to it a few days and noticed that the podcast changed significantly. Tina doesn’t get into the story for a while, lots of comments after every sentence of the story and then both narrator and the guest go way out of topic for another 5 minutes, then they are going back to the story with lots and lots of personal emotions about it without even telling the story. It’s VERY VERY hard to follow! I was a little disappointed as I really loved those stories but now it’s just impossible to listen. I would recommend to get more of a story, reduce comments during the storytelling and leave personal emotions till the end of it! Please give me my favorite podcast back!

eselshorI love this showI started listening to this show before I started my LVN program. I was hooked and I felt like I was getting a look into the field I am going into, the good and bad side. That was important for me because I was going into the program blind. I’m done with program now and I going to enjoy all the stories again since I’m not studying 24/7. Thank you for the interesting show, Tina. I love the intro music, too.
