Always on point. Cogent and pragmatic. I cannot wrap my head around the types who believe our world is going to end and, to avoid this, we must re-harmonize our spirit animals with nature and then return humanity to around the time that our nation was founded. I can only think of two explanations: 1) It’s a social contagion transferred by the type of self-loathing that incubates rapidly through social media. Anyone under 25 and/or lacks critical thinking skills is highly vulnerable. 2) Climate change is now religion. The Green Fascism Gospel. It has all the tell tale signs, yet with zero upside.

This podcast is wonderful because it’s always open to discussion based in tangible data, and that’s what science is supposed to be and do; unfortunately we live in a society that is getting manipulated by few powerful political forces that are shifting humanity back into the dark ages. Thank you Alex for your incredible work.

He chooses fantastic guests who have an enormous amount of knowledge in their field of study. While PH focuses on energy, you get a lot of great discussion on topics that are energy adjacent providing an even deeper understanding of the Economics and politics of the energy and anti-energy industries. This is one of the few podcasts I don’t miss.

His strong philosophical background combined with his knowledge of energy systems gives him great confidence to take on debates and other intellectual challenges.

An important, interesting and informative podcast that everyone should listen to, especially those who have been scared by the “climate catastrophists”. Alex provides one great interview after the other that build on facts not fiction. I am not in the energy field, but Alex and his guests explains things that every layman can understand. I highly recommend you increase your knowledge today by listening and subscribing to Power Hour.

I never thought I would be interested in topics about energy. Now I understand that all Americans should be interested in energy and the issues surrounding it. The way you approach energy makes sense and I urge all Americans to listen. Alex, you should run for Congress. You could save our country from the doom of the green new deal. I've been listining to podcasts since 2008, and I've heard every Power Hour Alex has ever put out, many of them, several times. Invaluable information! Of all the podcasts I listen to, Power Hour is the one and only I will not miss. Suffice to say, if I could only listen to one podcast, it would no doubt be Power Hour.

The perspective this show presents is unique. Alex always gives the steel man arguments for the other side so you’ll never feel like you can only fight the layman or poorly informed. This is a fantastic free contribution to the world (only surpassed by the Moral Case For Fossil Fuels book)

This is the best podcast available anywhere, anytime, for truly understanding the moral case for fossil fuels and energy issues in general.

This podcast has fantastic guests and a ton of great statistics and information that gives you a perspective that many of us seek, yet have a hard time finding. It also gives you resources to find more of that information on your own if you choose to do so. Only constructive criticism I have would be to work on the audio, it’s not as crisp or clear as many other podcasts and I find myself having to crank up the volume dial significantly to hear clearly. Small price to pay for the quality of the information I’ve received!

Just heard you on Charlie kirks podcast! It was awesome, you really challenged his way of thinking. All be it, it’s not for from yours. BTW I’m just an ole boy from south Alabama who’s worked on offshore oil rigs and now at a steel mill. So what your saying and doing is immensely important for people now and our posterity. No matter where you are on the political spectrum, give Alex a chance. He gives an alternative message to the constant panic played out in the media and the mobs, and the message is positive. This is meaty, thoughtful stuff, and you just might walk away a different person after hearing what he has to say.

Great show. I nearly fell off my chair when Zubrin mentioned the story about the release of iron oxide into the ocean and there was a protest by climate change environmentalist. I went to San Jose State in the early 70s. An environmental scientist from San Jose was working on a mitigation to CO2 out of a research station in Moss Landing, California. It was a big deal about that part of the College. Unfortunately he died suddenly before he could actually test his hypothesis about iron seeding the ocean in an attempt to sequester CO2. Several years after his death the experiment was attempted and touted as an unqualified success as the experiment caused a huge bloom of plankton.

In this time where the mainstream media is ill-equipped to address climate change in a data driven and balanced way, it’s incredible to have highly informed and data driven analysts like Alex and his colleagues to take you through the data rationally. Highly recommended!

I have found this podcast to be a superb venue that enables one to see the whole instead of isolated portions of a complex subject. I have difficulty understanding Stephen Henne sometimes because his audio sounds like it’s coming from an old hands free telephone. His speaking inflection is excellent but words are lost due to the quality of his audio feed.

They provide an hour of short stories about the energy industry, many of which you won't hear about anywhere else. They offer well-supported information about the problems with alternative energy initiatives and the extent to which governments globally are trying to force solutions in opposition to rational market forces.

Been a fan of this show for years. Thankfully its back. Alex has a GREAT book called The Moral Case for Fossil Fuels. Buy it. Read it. Share it.

You gather data and guest from the most biased groups imaginable. The heartland institute?!?! Please stop trying to explain complex science with a group that denies climate change. You are the polar opposite of green peace. You might as well just listen to infowars.

The host's lack of understanding of basic energy concepts and his willful distortion of facts to suit his point of view make this podcast a total hack job. It results in interviews that lack nuance, cherry pick statistics and present deeply uninformed opinions disguised as facts.

No substance here. Typical arguments with zero actual data to back up anything said. I work in Oil & Gas. You don't need to win me over with fear. Ironic that after three episodes all a very common theme of "environmentalists use fear to spread false info", since that is all I heard from this podcast. "What you don't don't know about energy can kill you". I felt dumber after listening to this podcast.

Power Hour with Alex Epstein is one of the very best podcasts I've come across. He and his top-notch guests have the expertise and communication talent to really help the listener understand the often-complex issues with which Power Hour engages. I've been interested in energy for years and recently became interested in the climate change debate. The relevant science can be daunting, but after listening to just a few interviews, the subject was made comprehensible to me and I was on my way to having an informed opinion. I've listened to a number of these podcasts multiple times, always picking up something new. Alex's Moral Case for Fossil Fuels is a sane, wise and humanistic view on the vital role of energy in our civilization. Keep up the fine work, Alex!

Alex has his agenda, but this show is definitely worth a listen due to the excellent guests on the show, even if the deck seems to be slightly stacked in his favor.

An insightful podcast. Showing a side of the debate almost never heard. Most media members could learn something here. Interesting how one sided and tribalistic reviewers like #5 is. This is anything but superficial, more like a big helping of vegetables (instead of a steady diet of sugary emotions which you get from most environmentalists/liberal/progressives/utopians)

A power hour that is actually valuable to human life.

A classical case of drawing a conclusion, then looking for data. Alex is a friend of fossil fuels. He makes the case for them based on reliability (which should be a consideration) and price (not cost). He ignores multiple variables and glosses over externalized costs. Humans, especially smart humans, are capable of sophisticated rationalizations. Alex is a fairly typical example of that behavior .

Alex Epstein makes the moral case for fossil fuels by focusing on the human impact and long term effects of the climate alarmism movement. What is the human cost of these destrutive policies? Should we focus on mazimizing human well-being or minimizing human impact? How would the leading thinkers in each energy sector solve humanity's energy problems?
